Before going ahead into the mission we make a reunion to talk about it.
"Volkov heads the Russian mob that moved into East Berlin once the wall went up in '61." - Adler says observing the projected pictures of Volkov on the wall of the safehouse.
"This guy has connections to cartels throughout Europe and the Americas." - Lazar says.
"Neutralizing him will not only hurt Perseus, but the global syndicate. He's a big fish." - Alder continues.
"And here's our little fish..." - Park says with smart eyes. "Franz Kraus. According to M16, he's one of Volkov's information couries. He has a drop with Volkov scheduled for tomorrow night."
Kraus's pictures appear on the wall.
"We'll infiltrate Easte Berlin via the U-Bahn. A ghost station on the other side of the wall has the access we need. From there we'll catch Kraus as he enters the city. Once Volkov shows his face it's kill or capture."- Adler finishes his explanation.
The reunion is over. Time to get these bastards.

East Berlin, German Democratic Republic

A German male voice that announces something wakes me up.
I slept during our travel in the train and now I have an hard time to open my eyes.
"We just passed under the Wall into East Berlin. Get ready." - Park advises us using the radio.
Alright, I have to be professional.
I slowly open my eyes. The light is low and it doesn't hurt my eyes.
There aren't many people in the car and that's a good thing.
In front of me there is a young couple: he's hugging her and she seems so happy.
I wish it was Adler and I at them place...
Speaking of the devil, when I turn my head at the left I can see Adler staring at me.
He's good locking as ever, with his sunglasses, the black jacket and brown shirt, elegant pants and his misterius scar wich it's less evident because of Adler's beard.

I immediately blush and look down.
I still don't understand why he didn't talk with me since our last chat.
Is he mad at me?
I don't really know what he meant before but... His words made my heart beat like hell.
I was so happy and shy at the same time that I just couldn't say anything. I was speechless.
The German male voice announces something again.
I sigh and look at Adler one more time.
He's smoking as usual his cigarette, watching me.
I don't know what to do so I check my watch on my wrist: it's midnight.

I can't resist from looking the smoke going out of his mouth.
"Adler, the back car is clear. We're good to go." - Park announces.
Adler throws his cigarette on the floor and steps on it. Then he stands up and moves with and hand a person who was on his way.
You can tell he's a leader just by looking on him. I love his confidence with people.

I follow Adler and notice that Lazar is here too: seeing Adler he stands up and holds the door for me.
The back car is dark, without lights and people.
Adler turns back and looks at me:-" As soon as the train slows down, you and I'll jump off."
So I'm going in this mission alone with him.
Maybe there will be the chance to talk about what happened between us.
"Park, Lazar, wait till the next station. Bell and I will track down Kraus."
Did he program everything to be with me?
I follow Adler to the back door full of graffiti.

Through the windows I can see the railroad.
"Alright, the train's slowing down. Let's go to work." - he says looking at me.
I open the door and the load noise hit my hears.

"All right, here we go." - Adler jumps off the train. I jump too and we both fall on the railroad.
Adler reaches me:-" Are you okay?".
He seems worried but why?
"It's okay." - I take his hand and get up, cleaning my dusty uniform.
"Careful, East German guards still patrol these abandoned stations." - he advises me.
The station is dark and with two railroads.
"Patrol ahead. We can use the train to slip past." - Adler says.
There is a train coming right to us and on the platform on our right there are a couple of soldiers. His idea is pretty good.
We jump on the railroad on our left so the train is between the soldiers and us. With all this noise they can never hear our steps.

After we pass the soldiers Adler jump on the platform on our left and I follow him.
"Movement on the platform." - he goes first.
"Let's take him out quietly."- he wishpers when we see a soldier with a torch in his hand.
Adler hides behind a column.
"Careful." - he looks into my eyes and I nod.
I slowly reach his back so the enemy can't notice me.
"Take it slow." - Adler wishpers behind the hiding place.
He's so worried probably because last time I messed up.
I punch the man in his face make him turn around and cover his mouth: I will use him as a shield.
"All right. I'll be there in a minute." - a GDR soldier says to someone near us.
They haven't notice us yet.
"Move up." - Adler wishpers.
He is waiting for me near a door. I open it and see three soldiers in the room.
Two of them are sitting doing their own business and the last soldier is in front of the door. When I open it he looks confused but then he immediately takes the gun from his pocket.
Using the previous soldier that I capture before and using him as a body shield I kill them all and stab the enemy in my hands.

"Come on. This is the way out." - Adler says going ahead.
We climb the steps of a manhole and go outside.
Unfortunately we can't enjoy the fresh air of the night.
"What's going on here?" - a GDR soldier asks in front of us.
Fuck, we didn't saw him.
"Shit, follow my lead." - Adler whispers while I hold his hand and help him to get out of the manhole.
The soldier points his torch on Adler's face.
"I work for the railroad. Let me show my ID." - he says in German.
We both raise our hands.
The other soldier comes from the behind of his partner and looks at me.
"That area is off limits. You're under arrest, get down on the ground!" - the soldier exclaims.
He didn't buy it.
Adler looks at me with worried eyes.

"Wait, wait, wait. Just calm dawn. I'm sure we can figure something out. Let's-." - Adler tries to fix it.
"We will shoot you if you don't listen. Get down now!"
Suddenly I notice that Adler put his gun on his pocket before. It's almost out.
Slowly I reach his back and take the gun.
He felt my hand and he knows what my intentions are.
"Now!" - Adler cries.
"What the...!" - the first soldier can't finish his phrase because Adler punches his.
I kill the second.
Adler take the weapon from his hands and start to beat him.
"Nice work. Let's clean this up." - he whispers carrying the body and dropping it in a dark zone. I do that too with the other enemy.
I look at Adler: his jacket is wet because of the rain.
"Adler... I was so scared..."
"It's okay. That was my fault. I've should check the perimeter before."
After a moment of silence he hugs me tight.
We're both wet and cold but when he touch my skin I feel like I'm burning.
"Adler, what did you mean when you told me-."
"Not now, Bell." - he reaches a light brown door, the only one in that alley. "Kraus should be coming through the checkpoint soon. Let's get to the rooftop."

I sign and follow him into the building.
