The building is dark and creepy inside.
The only light is coming from a little window above a door at the end of the stairs.
"Park, Lazar, we're almost in position." - Adler says using the radio.
"Copy that." - Park replies.
I want to ask to Adler again the question but we are too busy now. Maybe he knew exactly what I wanted to ask and he didn't want to reply. Maybe-.
"Come on. This way." - Adler climbs quickly the stairs and open the door.
The door is connected to one of the rooftops.
From up here I can see every apartment blocks, every light...
"Careful of the spotlight." - Adler advises me and hides behind a wall.

After a few seconds he runs and climbes another stairs. I follow him.
The view is breathtaking and better than the first. I can see the all city and for a moment I forgot that we are on a mission.
Maybe is it the right moment to ask him?
"They know how to lock a place down, I'll give 'em that." - Adler looks down at the military camp and at the check zone.
Then he climbs over a wall.
Maybe it's not.
An insign on the roof says "Korber" with red and big letters.

We go above it and we lower ourself so we can't be noticed by the German soldiers above us.
The roads are full of military, who are checking every person who tries to go through the Wall.
"They know." - I observe the German flag on a check zone.
"Keep an eye on that checkpoint. Kraus will be coming through any time." - Adler says. "Look for Kraus with your camera."

I use my camera to look on that checkpoint.
"Damn... security is tighter than usual. If they detain Kraus, he could miss his meeting with Volkov."
Looking with my camera, I notice a man, who is questioned by a soldier at the checkpoint.
The soldier has his torch pointed on the man's face: he's definitely Kraus!

I take a picture.
"Good job. That's our man- that's Kraus." - Adler confirms.
The solder let Kraus go and he opens his umbrella and takes his carrying case, then proceeds on the way.
"On me." - Adler jumps on a lower rooftop and opens a door. I follow him inside the building.
"Park, Kraus just crossed the Wall. What's your status?" - Adler asks while he's climbing down the stairs.
Hearing Adler talking to Park makes me feel this strange emotion in my stomach. I think it's jealousy.
Between a step and the another, I notice on wall of the house a big heart: on the center of it there are two letters: A+J .
Then there is the name Annika above the drawing.

"Lazar and I are at the exfil point waiting your arrival." - Park replies.
"Roger that."
Adler is almost down but I'm still watching the heart.
I wish it would be A+B: Adler and Bell.
"What are you looking at?" - Adler reaches me.
"Oh, nothing much."
Adler comes closer and watch the drawing.
"Ah, the love. It's the only thing that could heal or kill a person at the same time." - Adler says with a nostalgic voice. "C'mon Bell."
I never imagine that Adler has deep thoughts about love.
He opens the door for me and we reach a tunnel. After it there is the city.
We're inside the Wall.
"Our intel says Kraus and Volkov will meet at the bar across the street." - Adler looks at me. "Meet Hudson's contact inside - she'll have a blue umbrella."
A do a few steps but Adler isn't coming with me.
"Aren't you coming?" - I ask confused.
"No Bell, I have other stuff to do." - he lays his hand on my shoulder. "You can do this on your own."
"But- I don't know where to go or what to do. You're the leader!"
Go on a mission without Adler makes me feel powerless.
"Just go in that bar across the road. There you will meet the CIA contact. Simple as this." - Adler smiles to me. "You have to go on your own so you will not catch the stranger's eyes.
Plus the CIA contact is a woman and you can talk about all your women stuff. Our team is composed by males and Park, but I noticed that you don't like her too much."
I look down and blush.
"How - how do you know that?" - I wishper.
"Nothing escapes from my eyes."
I start moving to the bar but after a few steps Adler adds :" Oh, and just to let you know, Park isn't into me. Don't worry."
"I don't know what you're talking about." - I quickly reply, turn around and proceed.
I can hear Adler laughing from the back.
I keep going.
But hell, I know exactly what he means.
