"Fuck! Let's move!" - Woods exclaims and runs out of the arcade room.
We walk up the stairs while the Red commander's voice is announcing the military exercise.

They still don't know we're here.
Woods hides behind a fence and so do I.
We're on the second floor of a fake shop,which they built for their training.
The purple neon sign says "video", with other mannequins around the place.
I smile remembering about Woods' accident.
"If they want a real fire drill, let's hook these fuckers up!" - he says.
A patrol is walking in our direction on the second floor and some soldiers downstairs are following the leader's indications.
"We're surrounded." - I whisper to him. "Are we gonna fight?"
"If we don't shot these first" - he says observing the patrol on the second floor " they're gonna find us anyway."
I take my weapon and kill them silently,but not enough.

"Are they part of the drill?" - a Russian soldier asks.
" We have a security breach!" - screams another one.
"Troubles begin." - I sigh and start to shot.

"Advance!" - Woods orders.
I proceed running through the second floor.

A bullet breaks a window and flies near my head. I look at it terrified and get down.

"Sniper!" - I advise Woods.
"That all you got?" - he says back to the soldiers .
I open the door and we end up on the roof of the building, fortunately there are stairs to climb down.

More soldiers come from nowhere and hide behind white cars and shops.
"Russian vehicle inbound!" - Woods screams.
A truck comes into the square. Where are they come from?!
I kill one of them in a shop called "The Red army coming soon".

"Aren't they hilarious?" - I ask to my comrade.
"So hilarious, they even put an American flag." - he shows me with a finger the corner of a window where is hanging a red and blue flag.
Because of our little talk we didn't notice a Red climbing the stairs and throwing a grenade.
"Watch out!" - I push Woods away and take the grenade in my hand.
I throw it on the enemy's direction as fast as I can and after two second it explodes in the air, near his face.
The explosion rends his body and the blood falls on us like rain.
"I-if it weren't for you I-" - Woods murmurs looking at me with red drops on his face.
"It's okay. You saved me before, I owned you." - I reassure him.
"Okay. Let's go." - he whispers.
We go downstairs, in the middle of the square.
The windows of the shops are all broken, the floor is full of dead bodies.

"I don't like this silence."
"Now, where'd the rest of those commie bastards run off to?" - Woods asks with a vigorous voice.
He seems to be better, he has recovered his strength already.
"So, what are we gonna do now?" - I ask.
"Just proceed and light up every fucker we meet."
We keep going stepping on the dust and dead bodies.
I wonder what Adler is doing right now, probably waiting for us at the other part.
Is he... thinking about me right now? About what we have done?
I don't think I have the nerve to ask to him if I'm only a toy or something more.
I heard so many stories about occasional relationships between two members of the army; they fill their needing of someone, but physically and not emotionally.
Some of they were single and some married.
Is Adler single? I think he is but I'm not completely sure. He talked to me about an ex wife who wanted to keep everything in their house and didn't throw away nothing.
The only thing I'm sure about is that I'm not his first... but- Am I the last?
"Watch out!" - Woods screams and pushes me into a Tv shop on the right.
"Contact! On the rooftop!" - he hides behind a car.
"How many of they are coming? I thought they were all dead!"
"It's their base, we can't kill them all. But we can get rid of them and proceed, hiding and finding what we need."
"Sounds good."
We start to shot in the Burger Town's shop, where the enemies are hiding.

When I get closer to it a giant statue of a boy starts to talk.
"Hi there! Welcome to Burger Town! Ho may I serve you?"
What the hell is that?

"What? They got Bubby! Those goddamn Commie Bastards!" - Woods exclaims.
"Bubby? Who is Bubby?!"
"The mascot of this shop! They copied everything from us! Remember Lazar's shirt? That's him."
"Oh, right." - I think about the first time I woke up and saw the whole team in the safehouse.
I notice a button on a side of the statue.
Why not, I think pressing it.

"Why so glum, chum?" - he says.
I press it again.
"We don't have a vegan option."
That's actually funny.
I press it again and again.
"Paramedics are standing by!"
"Order more! Capitalists love to overindulge!"
"Okay Bell, that's enough. Wanna give me a hand here?" - Woods says kicking a face of a soldier who was hiding behind a counter.
Woods eliminates the sniper on the roof and I light up two of them.
But more and more of them are coming.
Four of they come inside the Burger shop.

Fuck! I'm surrounded.
I hide but unfortunately my foot bumped into the wood.

"We're coming for you!" - laugh one of them.
"These Americans finally will learn the lesson." - says the second.
I would not be in this situation if Adler was here. He's always by my side.
"Woods!" - I call my teammate while the enemies' footsteps are getting closer.
"It's a girl! We can have fun with her before shut her down."
The man who was speaking shows in front of me.
"Ha-ah! I've found you!"
But when they look into my face their evil smiles disappear.
Even if they're all wearing a ski mask I felt it by their eyes.
"Is she-?" - the first soldier is shocked.
"No it can't be! We lost her months ago."
"Gavorish pa ruskij?"
I know exactly what it means but I'm to scared.
"What are you talking about? I don't speak Russian!" - I scream.
"She knows!"
"Are you-?" - and the soldier says a name wich I couldn't hear because Woods hit him from the behind with his weapon.
I take my gun from my pocket, my principal weapon was kicked away from me from one of them, and shot them.
They fall on the ground with their eyes full of terror but also happiness.
"Tovarish." - says one of them with a smile before he dies.
I crawl on my knees and reach my weapon, then I reload it.
"What they wanted from you?" - he asks.
"What they wanted from me? Why the fuck you weren't there! I thought we were a team!" - I say opening my arms showing the space between us.
"I was busy fighting three of them."
"I don't know what they wanted." - I wishper.
Tovarish. Comrade.
He looks at me with suspicious eyes.
"What?" - I ask sitting on the floor. "I'm not working with them."
"I know. C'mon."
Finally the peace comes again, but we don't know for how much.
"Bell, head for that control tower!"
I know exactly where to go because the fake town ends right after the Burger's shop.

We climb some stairs and find a box full of ammo and weapons.

"What a luck!" - Woods says happily. " I really need to charge my boy."

He takes a big quantity of bullets and places them in his and mine pockets.
"They probably raised the alarm so the whole building knows where here. Are we going further?"
"Of course, being a soldier means risk your life and end your task."
"I know but- We went for all these ways and we don't know how many of them we have still to go trough before we can find what we're searching!" - I pause waiting for his reaction but Woods keeps staring at me.
"I fought with Adler in Vietnam, my memories are slowly coming back, and I saw many of ours fall and die because we were fighting a useless war..."
"This has nothing to do with Vietnam, Bell! Open your eyes, it's a Russian base and we have to find what we need to stop Perseus because if we don't stop him this cold war will be more worse than Vietnam." - his voice is serious.
"I-" - I know Woods is right. " I save your ass before. One second more and you would be dead by that fucking grenade."
My eyes fill with tears and I'm trying to hold them back.
"You know what that mean? One second more and your body would be in pieces and I would be covered by blood, your blood. And then? I would be alone and fight with them." - I show him the dead bodies above us.
"And I saved your ass before, if I didn't you would be shot by a fucking sniper." - he wishpers with angry eyes. "This is life Bell, you chose to fight and now do it. I know I'm not Adler, I'm not cool and strong as him. But if he decided to send me with you there's a reason, he plans everything."
Adler. Should I tell him what happened today?
He gives me a hand up.
The next move to do is to go down into a place full of tubes full with gas on each side and with an elevator in the end.
"The elevator leads straight to the control tower!" - Woods informs me.
"Finally, I don't see any soldier down here." - I say looking down.

I take a long breath; nothing can be worse.
I jump on the ground but suddenly my vision becomes white and unclear.
"Granada!" - is the last thing I can hear from him.
