It had been a shit year for Jordan Santiago.

It started off with leaving his younger twin sister in Forks to go to Ohio on a football scholarship. It should have been good, but the pair had always been inseparable—like two sides of the same coin. Jordan had been reluctant to leave Alex, but he did it for a sport he truly loved.

Only that sport turned out to also be one that could break him. His new team mates hated him, for reasons unknown to him. They used every excuse in the book—because Jordan was the new kid, it was a hazing, but the one that broke Jordan the most was when they used his own ethnicity against him. The one thing his parents were happy about giving him.

And then add in the fact he had figured out he liked boys while he was away, it was a pretty testing time.

All Jordan thought he needed was time with his family. So, he went back to where the Santiago's had moved in his absence—La Push.

The trip only added to his shit storm of a year. When visiting his sister a vengeful vampire decided to use him as a pawn. Victoria's teeth ripped through his neck and changed his life forever. It thrust him into the supernatural world that his sister had been sitting in for a while now.

Jordan was now a vampire and quarantined in the Cullen household. Not many could visit him—only vampires and wolves didn't tempt him to rip out their coronary artery.

And it was one wolf in particular that continually visited—Embry Call. No matter how many times Jordan yelled, fought or pushed him away, he always kept coming back.

Every time Jordan pushed, he always waited in anticipation for Embry to return. He almost began to enjoy it.

    Maybe, with Embry by his side, his year wouldn't turn out to be an entire shit storm. Just a little bit of one.

you do not have to read the first book in this series "youth" if you don't want to before reading this, everything will be described properly again in here. it would be helpful though, and you get a whole lot more context of jordan/alex's relationship, and plus you can see embry imprint. alex and paul are also hella cute together, you will die.

also expect lots of mentions of alex and paul, they will never die y'all.
