A/N: Alright guys... this is it. The final three chapters in part 2. LONG ASS CHAPTERS INCOMING. These next three will probably end up being some of the longest in the story soooo oop.

M I L D Smut warning. Well, it's graphic, but it's only like two paragraphs skskkssk

~Five Days Later || 16:02~

The journey went surprisingly smoothly.

You're about to pass Pluto, so you wanted to get Jimin to watch it with you on the bridge. Kai's already there, same with Jungkook, Taehyung, and Yoongi. Now they're waiting on the Captain. So, you hum to yourself as you skip down the hallway, easily locating Jimin's door and rapping on it with your fist. After a few more seconds of your innocent little hums, he opens the door and smiles. "Hey baby," he coos, causing you to get slightly flustered. However, unlike most times, you manage to hide it.

"Hey Jimin," you reply, causing his face to fall.

"What's up?" he asks. Although you're confused with his new behavior, you don't question it.

"We're about to pass Pluto, come on!" you say, grabbing his hand and dragging him out of his room. He lets out a 'woah' as you pull him free. You can't help but laugh at his reaction. "We don't want to be late," you add as you guide him down the hall.

"Woah, Jagi, slow down," he says, causing you to agree.

You slow your pace. "So Jimin, what do you want to do today?" You look over in time to see a frown on his face. "Hm?" you ask.

"I-I don't know, we arrive tomorrow morning, right?"

"Actually, I think tonight."

He glances at you. "Really? Already?"

You hum. "As far as I know." You keep dragging him down the hall until you reach the door to the bridge, but he stops you. "Jimin?" you ask, causing him to flinch.

"I-I'm sorry, what did I do wrong?"

You're only left confused. "Uh... wha-"

"I'm so sorry baby, please forgive me," he interrupts, pouting.

"Uh, Jimin, wha-"

"Agh! What am I doing wrong?" he asks.

You stare in response, blinking at him. He kneels in front of you, causing you to gasp. "W-What are you doing?" you ask.

"미안해요 (mianhaeyo - sorry)," he mutters, kissing your hand. "I'm so sorry. What did I do?"

"Uh... nothing? I think? What's going on, Jimin?"

He snaps his eyes up. "Why are you calling me that?"

Your eyes light up in understanding. "Jimin?"

He pouts and nods. "What happened to baby? And Min? And Chim? And Mochi? And Chimmy? And Jiminie? And-"

You cut him off by laughing. "Oh shush Min, get up here." He stands, giving your hand a squeeze. "Are you on something?" you ask, bewildered by his sudden behavior.

"I thought you were mad."

"Because I said your name?"

"You haven't called me it in a few days, I thought we were only gonna use our nicknames now."

His pouting face is the most adorable thing ever. You can't help it: you give his plump lips a quick peck. You can't resist. You have to tease him even more. "You're such a dork, Jimin."

"Hey!" A giggle leaves your throat as he leans back in. You move your head, trying to avoid his constant kisses but it's hard. He takes what he can get, kissing all around your cheeks and the corners of your lips. "Let me kiss you," he says in a whine, trying to hold you in place.

You finally give in, going still and letting him kiss you passionately. You smile, but just to tease him, you don't kiss him back. He pulls away and frowns. "Really?"

You snicker before giving him what he wants. You kiss him sweetly, and his smile returns. He kisses you back. You're about to deepen the kiss when you remember why you're here in the first place. "Mmm- Min," you say, pushing yourself away from him.

"What is it angel?"

"Pluto!" you exclaim. You drag him inside without giving him a chance to reply.

The bridge is a lot different from the Moon's. On your ship, there would be a white bridge leading to the cockpit, but on here, it's all in one. You gasp at the industrial-style bridge, the darker colors and metal standing out to you as you look out at the semi-circle shape of the area. There's a huge window that takes up the entire wall in the front, where the pilot's station is along with the Executive Officer's and the Captain's. You look around in awe, wishing to fly a ship like this. It really is like a battleship. You almost wish that it was.

"This is gorgeous," Jimin says, causing you to smile.

"Right? Imagine you being the Captain and me flying, wouldn't that be a dream come true?"

He looks down at you and gives your hand a squeeze. "My dream is standing right in front of me."

"You're so cheesy!" you say, although you can't hide your flustered state.

"Look, my dream is right there," Jimin says, pointing to the center of the room. You follow his finger and pout when you see Jungkook standing there.

"Wow," you reply.

He laughs, "Payback for what you did."

"I didn't know calling you Jimin was a crime!"

"Yah, stop doing it!" he says, giving you the best angry face he can muster.

You stare, then slip your hand out of his and go right for his cheeks. "Mochi," you say, causing him to get flustered. You pinch his cheeks and he instinctively backs away.

"Rude," he replies with a pout.

"Come onnn," you say, grabbing his hand again and pulling him towards Jungkook.

The Executive can practically sense your dumbasses and turns around as you approach. "Jimin. Y/N," he says, slightly bowing.

"Hey Jeon," you reply, giving him a small nod.

"How are you?"

"I'm on edge, but what's new?" you reply.

He shrugs, "Fair. We should be passing Pluto in a minute, care to come to the window with me?"

You eagerly nod, and Jimin squeezes your hand. "Let's go watch, Min," you say, following Jungkook as he guides you to the window. Kai stands in the center, so the three of you naturally gravitate to him. You approach his right side, you right next to Kai with Jimin next to you and Jungkook next to Jimin. "Any updates on when we'll arrive?" you ask, losing your light mood from before. Things are slowly getting more and more serious.

"Six hours, approximately 22:00. Mars has officially caught up with us, now there's just the three main ships plus the Moon. The Hestia, the Yuri, and the Taurus," Jungkook says. You hum in acknowledgement. You're on the Earth ship, you're assuming the Taurus is the Ganymede ship, and the Yuri must be the Martian battleship. You don't question it, you simply stay still, watching the stars.

Pluto is easily visible, the icy dwarf planet almost tempting you to get closer. "The Ring isn't too far from Pluto, it's near the edge of our solar system," Kai says. All three of you to look over at him in concern. "Do you realize how huge this is?" Kai adds, locking eyes with you.

You slowly nod, "We're going through a damn wormhole."

"We have no idea how long this has been here, we have no idea where it came from, and we have no idea where it leads," Kai says. You gulp. Well, shit. "We sent a probe through and it came back safely, so we know we can go in and out, but as soon as it enters, all its comms stopped working. We couldn't keep contact with it, we didn't even get any pictures or videos."

"So... once we enter, there's no contacting anyone from outside for help?" Jimin asks, snapping into his Captain mode that you love so much. God he's so hot. It's in this moment you want to bend over for hi- wait. Y/N. Shut up, this is serious.

"Correct. We can't broadcast our findings. We'll be... well, alone. Which is why it's imperative we keep Earth and Mars on good terms. If one of them decides to retaliate, the solar system will kind of have to believe their side."

"Since there won't be another side," Jimin whispers, and Kai nods.

"Precisely. This needs to go smoothly. The fate of the entire solar system rests on this mission."

Well, if you weren't nervous before, you definitely are now. How are you supposed to react to that? You're doing something that's going to quite literally rewrite the stars. "Where's Taehyung and Yoongi?" you whisper-ask Jungkook, who shrugs.

"No clue. I stopped by Tae's this morning, but he said 'five more minutes'. This was an hour ago."

You chuckle, "And I think we all know Yoongi is still sleeping."

"That man is always sleeping," Jimin replies. Then, the three fall into silence.

You stare out the window as the ship starts getting closer to Pluto. The Hestia slowed her speed, mostly to keep an even pace with Mars and give them a chance to catch up, but also to make sure the wormhole doesn't appear out of no where. No one's ever actually flown into a wormhole before, what are they supposed to think? You force your breathing to stay steady. You try your hardest to focus on Jimin's hand in yours, but you're wavering.

"Jagiya," Jimin whispers.

"Y-Yeah?" you ask.

He gives your hand a squeeze. "Don't worry, we'll be okay. If we can handle Goliaths, a war, Triton, and living together, we can handle this." You softly smile. He's not wrong. You watch as Pluto passes by, the dwarf planet now behind the ship. You sigh. That wasn't as exciting as you thought it would be. You practically sped by it even with your reduced speed. Damn modern technology. You wish you could go back to the 2070's, when things were simpler. You don't know much about those early decades, but that was around the time humanity started expanding more and more into the stars.

"Well, that was..."

"Disappointing?" Jungkook finishes for Jimin, who nods.

Jimin looks down at you. "Can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Of course." Jungkook gives you an uneasy glance as Jimin drags you away, bringing you back outside the bridge. "Where are we going?" you ask, and he shrugs.

"My room," he replies. You go quiet as he pulls you down the hall, twisting and turning until you finally reach his room. He pushes the door open, and you still stay silent as you step inside, closing the door behind you.

"What's up Min?" you ask, slightly nervous, but you don't let that show. It's actually him who seems nervous. He's bouncing up and down, gnawing on his lower lip, refusing to make eye contact with you. "Jiminie?" you say when he doesn't answer.

"You can do this Park, you handled fighting giant alien monsters, a damn coma, and middle school of all things. This is your girlfriend, just ask her the damn question."

"Are you hyping yourself up in third person?"

He goes still, "I said that out loud?"

"Yeah, you were pretty loud too."

He groans. "Shit." He manages to look up at you, but as soon as he meets your eyes, he shyly looks down. His cheeks are dusted with color, which makes you let out a tiny 'awe' as he regains his composure. "Sit with me?" he asks. You nod, staying quiet as you plop down on his bed. He slowly sits down next to you, still not meeting your eyes.

"Everything okay?"

"All things considered, yeah. Just... in a solid month and a half from now, I want to take the crew to Earth."

"You do?"

He nods. "I don't want to go right away. One because it will take a good two weeks to get there anyway, and two because I want to help Ganymede finish their chapter with the Goliaths. After that, we should focus on the war. If there still is one, after this. If Earth and Mars can work together now, maybe things will work out. A-Anyway, that's not the point. The point is, I think the crew should live on Earth."

"Why's that?"

"The original crew is from Earth. Plus, that Chaeyoung girl seems willing to help us."

"Do you really trust her?" you ask.

"Not in the slightest, all we can hope for is that she turns out like Kai. But, that's also not the point. Once we get there, I think we can be like... I don't know, mercenaries? We can figure it out when we arrive, but while we're staying there, we should do something."

"Do what?"

He keeps his eyes on the ground, sheepishly smiling. "Uh... okay, here it goes." Jimin clears his throat, then looks up and meets your eyes. "By the time we get there, we'll probably be a little over three months into our relationship, you know that?" You firmly nod. "If I'm already this attached, imagine how annoying I'll be by then." You chuckle, a spark going off in your eyes. "I just... I want to explore everything with you. I kind of want to go on those cute dates we keep talking about. I want to know every single opinion you have. I want to show you the clouds for the first time, and I want you to be by my side as we bury Joon." You frown at the mention of Joon, but you keep the same light in your eyes. "I guess what I'm trying to say is... when we get there, a month and a half from now at the least, I want to take things to the next step."

"The next step? Isn't cute dates and knowing opinions the first step of a relationship?" you ask, although you have a teasing tone.

"You're right, which is why I want to take that month and a half to do that. But... afterwards." He reaches into his back pocket, bringing out a small black box. Your eyes nearly pop out of your head. "I'm not proposing!" he says in a hiss, causing you to burst out laughing. That's the second time he's pulled a black box on you, what are you supposed to think? It's hilarious, but it scares you shitless nonetheless. You love Jimin, you really do, but you want to wait at the very least six more months before deciding on something that big. Normally in a relationship you would think years, but you and Jimin are not exactly the average couple. You have the real shit. Shared trauma.

He lets out a shaky breath. "Okay, this isn't the actual thing, but I got excited so I impulsively bought a replica. I would have asked when we got closer to Earth b-but I wanted to know before I bought anything-"

"Min?" He shuts up. "You're rambling," you say with a giggle.

"R-Right, sorry. Point is, Y/N L/N, I love you. I think the promise ring proves that. Now, I want to take things up a notch. Would you do me the honor..." He pauses to open the box, and you nearly jump back in surprise. "Of moving in with me?"

You stare at the golden key, admiring the small details. Your eyes soften. He's really asking you to move in with him? Fulltime? Granted, this is in the future, but still. He's asking now? You can't help but hesitate. He looks worried when you don't answer. "O-Oh God I'm moving way too fast, aren't I? I-I'm so sorry baby I didn't mean to overstep. I just got really excited and I thought since we already lived together w-we could maybe try in a new setting. I'm so so sorry, ugh I'm such an idiot," he says.

You stifle your laughs. On one hand, he is moving pretty fast, on the other, this is still over a month away. You still have time to change your mind if things go south for you and him, but for now, while things are good, why not make them better? He's right: you did live together for like three weeks and there were only problems at the beginning. After that it was pretty smooth. Why not try? You could always move out if things go wrong. After all this Ganymede stuff it's not like you're lacking money.

"Mochi," you say, amusement twinkling in your eyes as you watch his flustered face. He looks so embarrassed, and you hate that. You don't want him to feel that way around you. "Look at me Mochi." He finally does. "I was going to say yes."

His expression immediately switches from embarrassment to relief. "R-Really? You're not just saying that cause you feel bad?"

You shake your head, smiling, "I told you, I'd be upfront if I thought this was too much. We still have time until then, right? Lots of time, so why not say yes while things are good for us? If anything happens we can always change our minds. You said yourself you wanted to know before you bought any places."

He rapidly nods, returning your smile. You love Jimin no matter what way he is. He seems to have completely different personalities sometimes. One day he'll be a cute Mochi, the other he'll be Park Ji-fucking-min (emphasis on fucking), another he'll be a total dream college boyfriend, and sometimes he'll be a confident bastard. You grab the key from out of the box and hold it close to your heart. Without another word, you use your free arm to pull him into a hug.

He's quick to return it, letting both his hands meet your back. "Thank you, princess," he whispers. Looks like he's the total dream college boyfriend mixed with cute Mochi today.

"You're welcome, Min," you reply, closing your eyes and enjoying his warmth for a few more seconds before pulling away.

"Now can we go house shopping?" Jimin asks while bouncing and grabbing his hologlobe from off of his nightstand.

You playfully roll your eyes, your heart hammering against your ribcage. "You're ridiculous."

"What? I'm excited."

You give his cheek a small peck, "I know you are, so let's do it." For the rest of the day, you and him laugh while picking from the best houses you can find.

~21:37~

"Don't rush it, it may have been a scratch but it was a hard scratch, you shouldn't push yourself," Seulgi says, but Hoseok ignores her. She sighs while she watches him running on the treadmill, pain in his eyes as his face scrunches up in disgust. "Hoseok," she tries, but again, no answer. "Hobi!" That causes him to finally sigh. He removes the key from the machine, and his body slows to a stop. He looks at her. She shakes her head. "You got injured, you don't need to hurt yourself more."

"We're about to arrive at the Ring, we don't have much choice," he says, but Seulgi is having none of it.

"Yes you do. Jimin's still recovering too - do you really think Y/N would let him push himself like this?"

"Jimin was in a coma, I got a little scratch. Our injuries aren't even remotely comparable."

"What would Jimin say if he found out you've been at this for hours? You're only going to hurt yourself more," Seulgi says, but Hoseok blows her off.

"I'm doing this Seul, there's nothing you can do to stop me."

Just when he's about to start the machine again, she rushes up and grabs his wrist. "What's gotten into you?" she asks softly, trying not to anger him. He runs a frustrated hand through his hair.

"Doesn't it bother you?" he says, causing Seulgi to release his wrist and give him a confused look.

"What?"

"That we're going into unknown territory? That Earth and Mars are playing nice? That we haven't heard anything from Jackson since the first Battle for Ganymede?"

She nods, "Of course it bothers me-"

"How are you dealing with it then?" he interrupts, pain in his eyes.

She sighs at the look, her heart slightly breaking. "Come on, let's go sit down." He hesitates and she frowns. "Please?" At her request, he finally gives in, stepping off of the treadmill and approaching the closest bench with her. They sit. Seulgi immediately looks over at him, "Hobi I'm barely keeping my shit together. Barely. Truthfully... the only thing keeping me here is you." His eyes expand. "Knowing that at least I won't be going alone, that helps. It helps a lot," she adds. She scoots closer, entwining her hands with his.

"Whatever you need, I want you to know I'll be there for you too. I can't let this end like last time. I want you to talk to me. I don't care if you have to force me: I want to hear all your thoughts. This isn't about me anymore, it's about you. Last time we dated it seemed to be only me and me and me, but I hate that I let it get that way." She cuts herself off to shake her head, "I hate myself for letting it get that way. Please sunshine, I don't want to lose you because of my old habits. Tell me what's going on. Everything," she says.

He sits there in shock, his mouth in an 'o' shape, which makes her worried. Did she overstep? Is she being too aggressive? Does he need space? Should she let him be? All these thoughts plague her mind, but, when he squeezes her hands, she feels at ease. "Okay Seul, I'll tell you whatever you want to know."

She smiles at that, squeezing his hands back. "It's mostly Earth and Mars that's bothering you, isn't it?"

"Kind of. I mean, we've been facing the unknown since the Hep, and Jackson? Maybe he died on Ganymede, who knows. Earth and Mars? They're known as the two leading powers in the solar system. And we're going to fly into an unknown destination that could potentially save millions of lives if we destroy the source of the alien lifeforms."

Hoseok breaks off, sighing, "Oh yeah, cause that's totally going to work out. I know one of them will want the glory to themselves. They'll see it as a way to sway the public to their side. Blow up the other two parties and come out as the damaged soul survivor, say that the aliens struck back and got the others. Say Ganymede sacrificed themselves since it's in their character. They can fabricate a whole lie of a story and get all the power they want as a result. That's why I'm worried. That's why I'm constantly down here, trying to forget about it for a minute. I may be in pain, but I'd rather focus on that rather than what's waiting for us in what? Twenty minutes?"

Seulgi slowly nods in understanding. "Who do you think will make the first move?"

"Honestly? It's a toss up. Earth wanted peace, but they're also starting to suffer more than Mars has. They may try and end things in there where no one is watching. Mars is greedy, maybe they'll open fire, who knows?" Seulgi pecks his cheek, causing his cheeks to slightly flush. Funny how they've said 'I love you' but they still get flustered over small gestures like that. Seulgi finds it cute.

"We'll make it out, that's for sure."

"What about Yoongi?" Hoseok asks, causing Seulgi to raise her brows.

"You and him have really grown close, huh?"

"He's a good guy, he really is. If something happens to him I don't know how I'd react. I mean, I don't even remember our last conversation, you know? He's like... I don't know. I know I've been around this entire crew for a while, but I feel like I know Yoongi the best. He feels like my best friend, in a way."

Seulgi feels for Hoseok. If anything happened to Y/N, she'd break down. She feels like she hasn't had much time alone with the girl in a while. She'd like to change that. But with everything being so crazy? Who knows what's going on. "We'll make it out okay. I have a good feeling about this," Seulgi says, determined.

"You sound just like her."

Seulgi gives him a perplexed look. "Huh? Who?" Hoseok keeps his smile, looking at her in admiration.

"Y/N."

~21:47 || ahem minor smut warning (first two paragraphs)~

Jimin moans right into your ear, and you shiver at the sound. You've been at this for several minutes now. You can't get enough of it. Something he's been doing recently is fucking you missionary and moaning into your ear. It's the most attractive thing ever. "Fuck baby, don't stop," you say. Jimin smirks against your skin. He rests his lips literally right next to your ear, giving you another solid thrust. He moans into your ear again. You've never heard a more pleasant sound.

"Are you gonna be a good girl and cum for daddy?" he whispers, going in and out of you slow but hard. You can barely form words, so you just rapidly nod. He chuckles, kissing your cheek and letting his body lay on top of yours as he keeps going.

Within the next few seconds, you hit your high, moaning out his name as he continues to thrust until he hits his. You didn't think it was possible for someone to make you feel this good, but here you are. Jimin knows exactly what he's doing. It only takes about thirty seconds for you and him to dial down from your high, but your body still feels like it's in heaven as he rolls over, panting. You're in his room, and you can't help but go quiet. You cuddle up against him but don't speak, you simply lie there, thinking about everything.

The two of you figured that if you're about to enter the Ring and go into the unknown, you should probably fuck one last time, just in case. No one wants to die horny, and in Jimin's case? Yeah, he's always horny. Granted, so are you, but that wasn't totally the case until you met Jimin. The way his eyes bore right into yours; how he stares through to your soul, undressing you with his eyes. That's what turns you on so much, and you want to have sex with him all the time anymore. You're sure it'll pass, or at least, some of it will pass, but until then you're going to enjoy being young and in love.

The two of you don't speak for a couple minutes. You're gonna guess he's going through his post-nut clarity, so you don't bother him. However, that quickly changes when he speaks. "When I first met you, my first impression was 'huh, an outsider. Interesting'. Nothing more, nothing less. Who would have thought it would lead here? Us lying together after fucking, about to enter the unknown. You have a promise ring, and we're going to move in together." He pauses to look over at you. "Would you have thought that was where we'd end up when we first met?"

You peek over at him and shrug. "It's kind of hard to know those things. Although I'll admit when I first saw you, my heart may have skipped a beat."

He chuckles. "Mine did too. How could it not? I mean - look at you." He shamelessly scans up and down your body, then he licks his lower lip.

"Have you looked in the mirror recently?" you ask him, raising a brow.

"I know I'm hot, I just want to know if you know you're hot."

"Of course I know I'm hot!" you say, and he chuckles.

"Alright, alright, don't kill me please."

"I would never," you reply with a pout, snuggling in closer.

You stay like that for another minute, then, the comm buzzes. "Attention all personnel, we are five minutes away from the Ring. I repeat: we are five minutes away from the Ring. Gear up and get to your stations," Kai says. The comm switches off, causing you to groan.

"I call bathroom first," he says. You pout as he hops up and practically runs into the bathroom. You smile and playfully roll your eyes before sitting up, looking down and noticing Jimin's bag lying on the ground. He hasn't fully unpacked yet, so you reach down and grab it, pulling it up and onto your lap.

Your curiosity gets the best of you: you open the bag, peeking through his stuff. You don't find much - some extra clothes, toiletries he hasn't put out yet, and jewelry. You're glad that he's buying more, he seems to really like rings and bracelets and necklaces. Even earrings, although he hasn't taken his original studs out yet. He still has another week, but him being paranoid insisted on keeping them in for a full month. You smile as you take out a gold chain. You didn't see him buy this one, you wonder where he got it.

You stare at it, eyeing it carefully. It doesn't really seem like Jimin's style - you'd think he'd go for a silver chain since he wears a lot of silver bracelets and rings, but oh well. He comes out of the bathroom which slightly amazes you. That was fast. "Nosy," he teases, and you giggle.

"I got curious. What'd you get this for?" you ask, peeking back at him as he starts to change into his gear. The Captain's uniform. You'll never get tired of seeing it.

"Oh, that? I don't know honestly, I don't think I've worn it since I got it. I bought it like three weeks ago too, crazy right?" You hum, eyeing it. "You can keep it if you want, I have a silver chain in my bag anyway," he says.

You snap your eyes back to him. "Are you sure?"

He nods. "It'd look better on you anyway." He straightens his uniform out, playing with his messy hair. Fuck, now you're horny again. He's so fucking hot that him just breathing makes you want to spread your legs for him.

"Thanks Jiminie," you say, unclipping the chain. You're about to put it on when you get an idea.

He notices your hesitation. "Everything okay?"

You softly smile as you grab your golden key from off of his nightstand. He sits down next to you, watching as you slip the key onto the chain, then you put it on. He wraps an arm around your bare shoulder, and you hold the key with your fingers. "Beautiful, isn't it? I can't wait to trade it with the real thing," you whisper, tracing your fingers over the new key.

"Me too Jagi, I want to annoy the hell out of you."

You giggle, "You already do."

"You weren't saying that five minutes ago."

You playfully smack his shoulder and stand, shaking your head. "What am I going to do with you?"

"I have no idea. I'm surprised you didn't throw me out an airlock by now, to be honest. I'm even more surprised the crew hasn't tried a mutiny yet."

You chortle and smile before practically hopping over to the bathroom, about to enter when you look back and see Jimin staring at the ground. "You okay Mochi?" you ask, leaning against the doorframe.

He looks back and forces a smile. "Not really, but seeing you wearing that key is helping." You hesitate, causing him to sigh. "It's the mission. The same nerves from Triton and Kepler and Ganymede. I'll never get over it, like my fear of being controlled. Those are two things that I'll think about all the time."

You sigh, "Is there anything I can do?"

Jimin gives you a small, sad look. "You being here helps, but like how your father was personal to you, this is my war to fight."

"And you'll win," you reply, causing him to look shocked.

He stares for a few more moments. "I love you."

You take a moment, then realize that this might be the last time you get to say it thanks to the Ring. "I love you too," you whisper. Without another word, you walk into the bathroom and close the door with a shaky breath. Everything is about to change.

Everything.

~22:02~

Jimin watches the crowded bridge carefully, trying to spot Jungkook, Taehyung, and/or Yoongi. Y/N ran off to go assist the pilots, so Jimin's kind of just standing there awkwardly. He takes a small step forward once he sees Kai in the center of the room giving orders, although the Captain isn't sure if there's anything Kai can do to help. Jimin doesn't really know his station, he's here more as a political figure. Plus, the Moon has strong guns, this mission needs her. Everyone knows that wherever his crew goes, Jimin goes.

He approaches Kai, who notices his presence and turns around. "Captain Park, Executive Jeon came by looking for you. He should be over there," Kai says, pointing to the top right corner of the room. Jungkook stands there, right next to Yoongi, who's nodding to something the boy says. Jimin's slightly concerned with Kai's formal talk, but at the same time, this is a matter that should be handled with professionalism.

"Thank you, Governor," Jimin replies, slightly bowing. Kai smiles in return, so Jimin takes it as a cue to leave. Jimin walks over to Jungkook, nodding in greeting. "Did I miss anything?"

"Yeah... this," Jungkook mutters, motioning to the window. Jimin looks out it, and his jaw drops. Not too far away, there's a giant, ring-sized distortion in the stars. It's unlike anything he's ever seen - anything the entire solar system has seen. He can't even put the thing to words. It's like a gateway, but a terrifying one. It almost looks like a massive hole, but he can faintly see stars on the other side. There's even a bright light in there, calling to them. It's like it's begging them to go inside.

"Holy shit," are the only two words Jimin can muster. He places his hand over his mouth.

Yoongi approaches his side. "I can't tell if that's the most terrifying or the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life," Yoongi mumbles. Jimin nods in agreement.

"Alright listen up, attention please!" Kai's voice says. Everyone snaps around to face the Governor, who's holding a microphone in his hand. "The Taurus, the Yuri, and the Moonchild are right next to us, the plan is to enter together in the next thirty seconds. I recommend you stay in your current positions, sit down if you can - we don't know how rocky this will be."

Jimin nods, turning and sitting in the closest chair. Jungkook and Yoongi follow in his actions, strapping themselves in. "On a scale of one to ten, how screwed are we?" Jimin asks.

Yoongi shrugs, "Probably ten."

"Let's be optimistic here, I'll say nine," Jungkook says.

"Nine is optimistic?" Jimin asks, causing both boys to nod. "Well... shit," Jimin grumbles, looking around until he locates Y/N. To his surprise, she's with Taehyung. They're sitting side by side on the opposite end of the room. And... they're holding hands. Jimin softly smiles at the sight. Deep down he's kind of jealous, but he's glad his good friend and his girlfriend are finding comfort with each other. Jimin looks over at Jungkook, who's sitting right next to him. "Your boyfriend and my girlfriend are holding hands," he whispers, causing Jungkook to slyly smile.

"Wow, they're hitting it off."

"So should we." Jungkook picks up on his meaning and slips his hand into Jimin's. "This is so gay," Jimin murmurs with a small chuckle that Jungkook returns.

"You too grandpa," Jungkook says, offering his hand to the man.

He looks disgusted for a moment, then, he genuinely considers it. "Fine... just this once," he mumbles, grabbing Jungkook's hand somewhat reluctantly. Emphasis on somewhat.

The Ring gets closer and closer, and Jimin gulps at the sight of the whiteness. Every single second feels excruciating. "I love you guys, I want you to know that," Jimin says loud enough for the both of them to hear.

"I love you guys too," Jungkook says back.

However, Yoongi hesitates. "I-" He gets cut off by the ship rattling as the wormhole dances across the hull of the Hestia.

"Shit get ready," Jimin says, gritting his teeth as they're drawn in...

~22:06~

Baekhyun groans, shaking himself awake as his ears ring. What the hell just happened? His head is placed on the Moon's dashboard, but he pays no mind. He simply sits up and blinks himself awake. He's grateful he was strapped in, otherwise he would've been thrown around like he weighed nothing. The Pilot rubs his sore, puffy eyes and looks around the cockpit. Seulgi is sitting next to him, unconscious. She must've hit her head too hard off the dash. Baekhyun quickly checks her pulse and softly smiles when he feels it under his fingertips. He turns around and sees Hoseok on his chair on the bridge, Jin right next to him. Jin's also unconscious, but Hoseok seems to be waking up. Good, at least Baekhyun isn't alone. He looks back, peeking out the window. His eyes widen.

They're in a different galaxy.

His mouth falls open, his blood running cold, his heart nearly stopping at the sights. The vastness around them almost has a yellowish tint to it, there's an asteroid belt surrounding them, a single planet not too far away. It almost resembles Saturn: it has a ring around it and a similar color pattern. It seems like this new 'galaxy' is like an oval. It feels like it anyway, there's only the asteroid belt and the planet. Other than that, there's nothing but more space for what Baekhyun can only assume is thousands of miles.

"B-Baekhyun?" Hoseok groans out.

"Sir?" the Pilot calls back, unstrapping himself and attempting to stand. To Baekhyun's surprise, he gets the hang of it pretty quickly. He walks over to the bridge, watching as Hoseok struggles to free himself.

"My belt is j-jammed," Hobi replies.

"You okay?" Baekhyun asks, rushing over and kneeling down next to him.

"I'll live, I just need to get the hell out of this chair."

Baekhyun grants his request, easily ripping the material and freeing him. Hoseok wobbles to his feet, placing both of his hands on the closest table for support. "I'll be alright..." he says, causing Baekhyun to take a step back.

"Is it your injury?" he can't help but ask.

"Y-Yeah... a little," Hoseok whispers, placing his hand over his stomach.

"Seulgi's still unconscious," Baekhyun says, then he looks over at Jin. He instinctively checks for a pulse and lets out a breath of relief when he finds one. "So is Jin."

"Good, no one's crazy hurt. That rattle took me off guard," Hoseok says, shaking his head rapidly as if waking up from a dream. Baekhyun nods in agreement, shaking his own head to see straight. The room is still slightly hazy, the lights almost blinding him, in a way. "Let's get back to the cockpit and see what we're dealing with here." And Baekhyun is quick to oblige.

"Do you need help getting there?" Baekhyun asks.

"I don't think so, but stay by my side just in case. I really don't want to fall." Baekhyun does as he's told, standing by Hobi as he pushes off the table.

It's a long process, but Hoseok is able to stand and slowly walk over to the cockpit. The first thing he does once he enters is check on Seulgi, but at the sight of only a bruise (and no blood) on her head makes him relax. "Good, nothing serious. Nothing pretty, she'll have to use makeup for the next two weeks, but she won't mind," Hoseok mutters to himself, inspecting her face. Baekhyun can't help but notice the way Hoseok stares at her face, the way he brushes his fingertips gently as if he'll hurt the unconscious girl. Baekhyun envies that. Not them, but the feeling. Baekhyun wants that. At least, he thinks he does. He has to, right? Who doesn't want love?

"Where the hell are we?" Hoseok asks, looking out the window with awe in his eyes.

"I couldn't tell you. This is all that's there. I haven't gotten any contact from Kai yet, but based on our radars, all four ships made it through."

"In one piece?" Hoseok asks, causing Baekhyun to shrug.

"I can start us up and see. We are the fastest after all."

"Let's go for it. If they need a damage report, we're the best chance they got. I have a feeling a lot of repairs are going to be needed," Hoseok replies. Baekhyun nods and sits again, starting up the engines and humming when he feels the Moon come to life. Flying always got him excited, even if it was only for a minute he would light up like a little kid around the controls. It made him feel like a different person, which is something he needs. If he feels like Byun Baekhyun, life starts to hurt. But, when he feels like he's a pilot on the Moonchild? He feels great.

He looks out of the window as he circles around the three big ships, inspecting each one closely. "There doesn't seem to be any noticeable exterior damage," Baekhyun says as they pass the first ship, the Hestia. That's the one the rest of the crew is on, so he's definitely relieved to see it in one piece. He smiles as he notices the Yuri, the Martian battleship. Also okay, no exterior damage. He moves on, then, his jaw drops.

The Ganymede ship is half-gone.

"Oh my God..." Hoseok whispers, but Baekhyun is too surprised to reply. The ship - known as the Taurus - is almost destroyed. Maybe the smaller ship wasn't made for the journey. Then again, the Moon is rather small when compared to the three in front of her, but maybe the Ganymede ship wasn't made as well. Mars is known for their spacecraft after all. It's why they're a force to be reckoned with.

"I hope they can repair her before it's too late," Baekhyun says, although his little spark of hope dies more and more.

"Was Anya on that one?"

Baekhyun shakes his head, "I don't think so, I think she's on the Hestia."

"I hope so..." Hoseok mumbles, looking down.

Baekhyun moves on, not able to take the sight of the burning ship anymore. There's not much he can do to help. A damage report wouldn't even be useful. As a pilot, Baekhyun can recognize when a ship is gone. The Taurus is done for no matter what they do. He falls back into place with the other ships, shuddering as he thinks of the almost destroyed ship. He tries to push it out of his mind, but it's impossible.

"Wait, Baekhyun, are you seeing this?" Hoseok asks, bringing Baekhyun out of his thoughts.

"Hmm?" Baekhyun hums out, looking over at him.

"Look," Hobi whispers, pointing out the window.

The Pilot looks out it, and his eyes immediately expand. Not too far away is a small distortion in the space around them. It's very hard to notice but it almost looks like... cloaked engines. "Holy shit," Baekhyun lets out when the realization hits him. Only one faction has cloaked ships. Only one faction would try and sneak in like this.

"The Belt, they followed us here..."
