A/N: This chapter is dedicated to the three couples. I think the name says it all. Enjoy.

~8:15~

"Wow," Taehyung says, watching as Jungkook sets up a small camp for them. Him and Jungkook somehow managed to find a large structure made out of rock. And by structure, he means an overhang. It doesn't protect them from all sides, but there's plenty of other rock structures around that their presence is well-hidden. "I would suggest making a fire but... we're on Ganymede," Taehyung says, stretching his arms slightly.

Jungkook chuckles, "You know, I actually managed to make one when Y/N and I were hiding out in a cave."

"A cave? Wow, even more intimate. We should have done that." Jungkook gives the boy an amused look before sitting down, letting his head and back rest against the rock wall.

Taehyung watches for a moment, then joins in. He plops down next to the Executive, not speaking at first. He's not entirely sure what to say. He just enjoys having him back. That fear... he never wants to feel it again. He slowly looks over at the younger man, who has his head slightly tilted back, his eyes softly closed. Taehyung lets his eyes travel over his face, burning the expression into his memory. Jungkook is beyond attractive. What is this feeling?

Taehyung turns red when he realizes he's staring, so he gulps and looks away, deciding to distract himself by looking out at the rocky surface. So many rock spikes stick up in all different directions. Taehyung slowly starts to relax, his breathing returning to normal, his body heat going down. However, all his progress is immediately thrown out the window when Jungkook leans his head on Tae's shoulder.

His heart hammers against his chest as he looks down at Jungkook, who still has his eyes closed, oblivious to Taehyung's inner turmoil. He decides not to speak, he simply looks back out at the surface and pretends that this isn't happening. What's going on with him? Why is he so nervous around Jungkook? This is his friend, the person he's been growing fond of. Why is he anxious about the proximity? They were sitting right next to each other playing a fighting game not too long ago, what's the difference here?

"You okay?" Jungkook whispers, sensing Taehyung's anxiety.

"Y-Yeah, I'm just nervous."

"Nervous?" Jungkook asks, leaning his head back slightly to look up at the boy.

Taehyung peeks back and meets Jungkook's doe eyes. Great, he's making this so much easier on the poor nervous boy. "I mean, we're hunting down a giant monster that killed a whole group of armed Belters. How can I not be nervous?" he replies. It's the truth, he's anxious about that too. He tries to convince himself that his nervousness is only from the monster hunting, but deep down he knows he's lying to himself.

"How can I make it better?" Jungkook asks.

Taehyung's eyes slightly widen, and he chooses to instead peer back out at the surface. "Just you being here is enough." Jungkook seems unconvinced. He massages the boy's shoulders, which makes him both relaxed and even more anxious. Regardless, he leans into Jungkook's touch and closes his eyes, trying to focus on the feeling rather than his thoughts.

"You're really tense, jeez," Jungkook jokes, trying to ease Taehyung's nerves. It slightly works: he starts to calm down again. Why is he so on edge? He shouldn't be. He pushes his nervousness as far down as he can before looking over at Jungkook and giving him a sweet smile.

"Thanks for everything. I'm glad we're friends."

Jungkook blinks a few times, hesitating for a moment. He stares at the boy for a few seconds before nodding. "Yeah, of course. I'm always here for you." They fall back into a short silence, Jungkook still softly massaging the boy.

"If we find this monster... do you think Ganymede will handle it well?" Taehyung asks. He can't have another repeat of Triton. He can't. But at the same time, he wants to run and hide. Being on the frontlines, he thought it would be fine since he's been doing it since Triton, but now he's getting tired. He just wants to cower away and forget about the world.

"I have faith that they will. The last thing they need is to have that thing running around their city again. We'll probably be gone by then."

"Where do you think we'll go?"

Jungkook shrugs. "Not sure. You have a destination in mind?"

Taehyung looks up at the rock overhang with a small sigh. "Is it weird if I say Mars? I know we're not exactly on their good side, but I've always wanted to see it. Live somewhere that wasn't a moon." He admires the brownish-gray surface of Ganymede, especially since he loves the color gray, but being here almost makes him uncomfortable. He wants to be somewhere where there isn't a giant monster roaming around.

"Not at all, Mars is a nice place if you look past their awful leaders."

Taehyung gives Jungkook a grateful smile. "Do you have a destination?" Jungkook simply stares at the boy for a few seconds, which causes him to look down and meet Jungkook's eyes. "What?" Taehyung asks, leaning closer.

The man is just... staring. Literally just staring. "I don't really care where we go," he whispers, giving him a small smile that has Taehyung freezing up.

"As long as I'm with you, I'll go anywhere."

~8:19~

"You know, in all the years we've known each other, you've never once told me why you hate Earth so much," Seulgi says with a small laugh, kicking the rocks under her feet.

Hoseok shrugs. "It's kind of a mix of things."

"Like?" she asks.

"Well, for starters there's more cities than ever before. No more real nature. I swear the greenhouse on the Moon has a wider selection of flowers than Earth anymore."

"What about beaches?" She hasn't been to Earth in ages, she barely remembers what it looks like at this point.

"I like beaches, that's about it. Earth's little group of leaders haven't touched them yet."

"Ah, so you really don't like the leaders."

Hoseok groans, "Not in the slightest. That Park Chaeyoung isn't someone we should trust."

"I'm pretty sure we all figured that one out, but right now, we need at least one place we can always go to be safe. I mean, look around." She motions to the miles upon miles of empty space in front of them. "A creature could jump out at us at any second."

"Yeah and on Earth that chance is even higher."

Seulgi glances over at Hoseok in confusion. "There's monsters on Earth?"

Hoseok's eyes go dark, then he nods. "A lot of them." Seulgi can sense his memories and decides to back off, gulping and keeping quiet. However, Hoseok clearly wants to talk about it seeing as he speaks. "The crime rate goes up every year, but the Commission is more worried about Mars and the Belt."

Seulgi stops for a moment, looking over at Hobi. "I'm so sorry," she says, knowing exactly where he's going with this.

He shakes her off. "If we go to Earth, we're more likely to get killed there than out here. At least here we have guns."

Seulgi gives him a sympathetic expression. He's never opened up like this to her before, even before, when they were in a relationship. He never talked about his past, he only wanted to make sure she was okay at all times. She can't help but admire that about him, but it also makes her feel guilty. Seul was never a good girlfriend to him. She never noticed when he was upset, or when he needed her. Now, she's noticing every single fracture in his expression. She can read him so well.

She lets her regret blossom. What they had was good, but she was probably the reason why it didn't work out. She didn't care as much as him. When she told Jimin their relationship was 'nothing serious', she wasn't kidding. Back then, it wasn't anything serious... at least to her. To him, not so much. She can't help but feel bad. Why does she keep pushing people away? She pushed Y/N away out of fear, and now she's pushing Hoseok away out of regret. She can't let that regret consume her. She needs Hoseok in her life. She really does.

She comes to a complete stop, letting out a shaky breath. He pauses with her, giving her a look of confusion. "Everything okay?"

"No, no it's not okay." His eyes widen. "How am I supposed to be okay when you're not?" she asks, and he only seems more surprised by the second. She sighs, letting her fingers rub her forehead. "I was never a good person to you Hobi, especially back when we dated."

She lets her fingers fall and instead decides to lock eyes with him. The only way she can get her friends back is by being honest. With both them and herself. Y/N once asked her if she's sure of her feelings for Hoseok. She wasn't then... but now she is. "I never noticed when you were upset or angry. I thought what we had was nothing crazy serious but now I know that it was. I'm sorry I ruined that, and I'm sorry I didn't pay attention. I was never there when you needed me, what kind of person does that make me?" He stays quiet, processing her words. She has tears in her eyes at this point. "Every single fiber of me just wants you to be okay. When I'm around you, my entire world just lights up. You make everyone so happy Hobi. You're the sunshine in everyone's lives..." she trails off for a moment, letting out a small breath. "I wish I could be the sunshine in yours."

He immediately leans down and kisses her.

She nearly jumps back at the contact, but refuses to be scared this time. She kisses him back, closing her eyes. They don't move their arms or hands, they simply stand under the light of Jupiter, their lips pressed on each other's, unmoving, just appreciating finally letting loose. He slowly pulls away, still keeping his face close to hers. She doesn't speak for a moment, her heartbeat in her throat.

He smiles. "Come on, we have a monster to hunt."

She returns his smile as he backs away, starting forward again. Seulgi stands there for another moment, letting her index finger trace over her lower lip. Wow, that just happened. She confessed her feelings; and despite everything, despite her being an awful person to him, he still feels the same way. Seul peeps up, watching his form as he walks away, and she can't help but give him a look of awe before bouncing back over to his side.

~10:12~

Jimin holds Y/N close as the fire starts to die, her bare body draped on top of his. Her eyes are softly shut, her breathing slow and mesmerizing. He studies her face, resisting the urge to kiss her forehead. Jimin doesn't want to risk waking her. He managed to sleep for half an hour, but his nightmares of the creature woke him right back up. So, he lays on the uncomfortable ground, finding at least some comfort in Y/N's presence.

He lets out a small sigh, letting his fingers absentmindedly play with her locks, twirling a few strands around his finger and enjoying the feeling. Despite being covered in dirt, she still manages to look gorgeous. Whenever he looks at her peaceful form, he can't help but wonder how he got so lucky. This journey hasn't exactly been easy. Actually, it's been the hardest part of Jimin's life, but he found his one through it. He misses Joon, but having her here helps. He's so grateful he didn't lose her on Ganymede. If he did, he's not sure what he would have done. He told Yoongi he'd be okay - for the crew. But now, looking down at her? He's not sure if that was the truth.

She stirs, but doesn't wake quite yet. He knows he'll have to wake her up sooner or later, but for now he lets her rest. She deserves it. She had a hell of a day. Leading Ganymede's military, rescuing Jungkook, killing her own father... she deserves a long, hot bath and a five course meal. Jimin slightly smirks to himself. Okay, maybe he's the five course meal, but she still deserves a hot bath.

He falls into his thoughts for a few moments, thinking over everything that has happened. They've been moving so fast that Jimin hasn't even had time to ask about what happened on Y/N's side. He knows the basics, but not the full story. They didn't talk much on the way to the cave, mostly since they were still in shock that the other was alive. Jimin is still in shock that he told her he loves her. And he's even more in shock that so far she's said it more than him. He doesn't want to be overbearing, but the first 'I love you' lit a fire inside him. He felt the need to say it even more, and clearly she felt the same way.

Regardless of the 'I love you', he still feels fear swelling in his chest over Jungkook. He knows the boy is fine, it's not that that worries him, it's the fact that people can do that to another person. That's what terrifies him. Looks like he has yet another fear. Great. Life is looking good for him. He lets out a small, quiet sigh, trying to focus on anything else when Y/N stirs again, this time groaning as well.

She takes a moment, then looks up and gives him an innocent stare. He can't help but let out an 'awe'. They're still completely naked, lying together on the ground, but she gives him the most innocent look in the world. He leans forward and kisses her for a few seconds, just giving her a greeting. When he pulls back, she smiles. "Good morning," he whispers, and she nods.

"Good morning." They both have chapped lips and morning breath, but neither of them comment on it. Mostly since they don't really care. She simply snuggles up on his chest, and he rubs her back in response. "You know... despite the fact that we're in a cave on Ganymede of all places, I'd say we're almost acting like a normal couple," she says, and Jimin chuckles.

"A normal couple? Us?"

She peeks up at him. "Oh yeah, normal couple. Waking up next to each other, saying good morning, not talking about the hot sex we had not too long ago."

Even though he's gotten a lot more confident, he still blushes. "H-Hot?"

She laughs. "You, Park Jimin, have the strangest duality I've ever seen."

He gives her a fake look of hurt. "How so?"

She gives him an 'are you serious' look and shakes her head. "Oh I don't know, maybe since you're blushing now but you were telling me I belong to you only like what? An hour? Two hours ago? Jesus hoe Jimin is a different breed." He laughs at that, letting his fingers trace over her neck.

"You do belong to me," he whispers. He keeps one arm wrapped around her back and pulls her closer to his face.

"So... can we talk about engineers being good with their fingers?"

"Really?"

She hums, biting her lower lip. "Oh yeah, that's something we need to discuss."

He can't stop his smirk. "What about it?"

She taps her fingers against his chest. "I'm just glad you showed me how good you are with them."

"Would you like me to show you again?"

She chuckles, giving him a playful look. "What so you can say I belong to you again?"

His eyes go dark. "If anyone lays a hand on you..."

She gives him a nudge, then lights up. "You have a daddy kink, don't you?" she asks, and he looks at her in surprise. They blink at each other for a moment.

"Do you?" Jimin asks back.

"Do you?" He blinks at her once more before smiling, leaning down and kissing her again. She expects it and leans into it, kissing him back. She pulls back after only a second and changes her position. She lies on top of him, her chest on his, her face hovering over him.

"Hi," he says, and she smirks before moving her hips lower. He gasps as her entrance brushes over his tip. "A-And I thought I was horny."

She chuckles, lowering herself completely. He moans, and she kisses his jawline. "It's my turn to make you scream," she whispers, and he looks at her in awe.

He's both astonished and unbelievably turned on, so he doesn't question it. "I'm holding you to that," he mutters as she goes up and down. She goes lower with her mouth, kissing his neck and mimicking his actions from a couple hours ago, sucking and nibbling at his skin. He now knows what it feels like, and he loves it. She swirls her tongue over his skin, and he feels himself tilt his head back, giving her more access to him. She pulls back after another ten seconds, meeting his eyes. She smirks, letting her fingers trace over his neck.

"You belong to me."

~10:46~

Seulgi stands still, leaning against the rock structure while checking her comm. It was having some interference earlier when she tried to contact Taehyung and Jungkook, so she's making sure it's still working now. Hoseok is looking at his, but can't seem to find any problems with it. "Maybe we're just out of range or something," Seulgi suggests, although she knows that isn't true.

"Do you think it's possible that the EMPs are doing something?" Hoseok asks, and Seulgi freezes. She didn't think of that, but it's possible.

"That's... actually probably it," Seulgi says, sighing ever so slightly.

"You are the gold, you'd know more than me," Hoseok says with a shrug, then, he thinks about it and freezes.

"Everything okay?" She's not sure what's going on in his mind, but she wants to. She gives him a patient look as he tries to form his words.

"I didn't tell anyone yet..." he whispers, looking up at Seulgi. She gives him a confused look. He grins, which calms Seulgi's nerves. "I got promoted."

She goes still, her eyes nearly bursting out of her head. "What?!" she shouts, and he's quick to light up, nodding rapidly.

"You're looking at Gold Agent Jung Hoseok."

As soon as he finishes talking, she starts to laugh, walking forward and embracing him. He laughs as well, accepting her hug and rocking them back and forth. "I'm so proud of you, you deserve it." She pulls away, giving him a sweet, proud smile.

"You inspired me, so I can't take all the credit."

Seul gives him a playful shove. "You ranked up, not me."

"I'm sure yours is right around the corner."

"I like being gold, it's like we're matching. Both golds now."

"You know what, maybe you're right." He does a little 'hahaha' that he's known for, and Seulgi can't help but melt at the sound. It brings her so much joy. "You're my sunshine, by the way," he suddenly says, which makes her snap her eyes to him.

Before she can reply, there's a loud noise heard in the distance. They jump and turn towards it. It's just an empty space. There's miles of surface straight ahead, but nothing is there. "Where could it be hiding?" Seulgi asks.

"I'm sure we'll find out soon enough. Is yours fully charged?"

Seulgi checks, then hums. "I'm good, you?"

He nods. "Let's find this thing and not die in the process."

Seulgi begins walking again, much more aware of their surroundings now. She doesn't want to be caught off guard by some big creature thing. She stays close to Hoseok, checking every inch of the ground. "It's all empty, how can it be hiding?" Seulgi mutters, holding her EMP by her side.

"There's a crater over there," Hoseok says, motioning with his head to the right. He's right, there is.

Seulgi lets out a shaky breath. She's really really hoping these EMPs work, otherwise they're screwed. She keeps moving, trying not to worry about what would happen if the EMPs fail. However, she's quickly thrown out of her thoughts when the ground rumbles. Within a few seconds, a large mass jumps out of the crater and lands on the flat surface. The force of its jump is enough to send Seulgi flying to the ground.

When she snaps her head up, she sees Hoseok groaning and getting up as well. A large, grey creature roars in their faces, and she instantly panics, bringing her EMP blaster forward. She clicks it, but nothing comes out. She gazes down at the gun as the creature unsheathes its claws, preparing to attack. She clicks off the safety and brings it back up to her face, taking in a small breath before shooting.

A big ball of blue energy spirals out of the gun and hits the creature right in the chest. It hisses in pain, almost whimpering, stalling and falling to one knee. Hoseok fires rapidly, hitting the creature three times. Once in the shoulder, once in the face, and another to the chest. The creature still puts up a fight, roaring and trying to crawl towards Seulgi. She instinctively backs up, dragging her body back before giving the creature one last shot to the face.

It finally falls unconscious, and she lets out a breath she didn't know she was holding. Hoseok dashes over to her. "Are you alright?"

She half-heartedly shakes him off. "Are you?"

"Physically, yeah. Mentally? I'll get back to you on that." He offers her his hand, and she smiles before taking it and boosting herself back onto her feet.

"Well, looks like we got it. Only problem, if our comms aren't working, how are we going to contact our ship?"

Hoseok throws his EMP to the ground, walking off and pressing on his comm. There's static for a moment, which makes him frown. "Hello? Can anyone read me?" Hoseok asks.

"We do, is there a problem?" Taehyung asks.

"We found the creature. It's unconscious, the EMPs definitely work. Our comms were acting weird before though," Hoseok explains.

"Yeah, I can barely hear you guys," Taehyung says, static blocking out a large majority of his voice.

"Try getting away from the EMP gun." After a few seconds of silence, Taehyung speaks again.

"Alright, how about now?" Taehyung asks, his voice much clearer.

"I can read you loud and clear," Hoseok says, smiling.

"Woah that's so much better. How did you guys find the monster?"

"We were just walking and it jumped out of a crater. I guess it wasn't expecting us."

Seulgi can practically hear Taehyung's confusion. "You guys didn't set up camp? You kept walking?"

Seulgi and Hoseok share a look. "Were we... supposed to?"

"That's what Jungkook and I did. We're resting right now, I figured after the chaos we've dealt with taking three hours to ourselves wouldn't be a bad thing."

"Yeah I have to agree with Taehyung here," Y/N's voice chimes in. "Jimin and I have been fucking this whole time."

"Y/N!" Seulgi hears Jimin's voice faintly say.

"What? It's true!" she argues, and Seulgi sighs.

"Well, we found it. Is Baekhyun on the line?" Hoseok says, exasperated.

"Present. I've been here this whole time. You guys are funny."

Seulgi presses her comm. "Do you have a read on our location?"

"Oh look, another voice joins the mix," Jungkook teases.

"Great, the squad's all here," Y/N says back.

Hoseok and Seulgi blink at each other. "Can we get the ship now, please?"

Baekhyun chuckles, "I'm on my way. ETA two minutes. Sit tight."

Seulgi turns off her comm, and so does Hoseok. "Is that going to be us in a few weeks?" Seulgi asks, playfully rolling her eyes.

The back of Hoseok's neck lights up a deep shade of pink, his lips parting. "Y-You think it could be?"

"I mean - uh... well, what are we?"

"What do you want to be?"

Alright, she can't help herself anymore. Not after everything they've been through both as exes and as crewmates. "I want to be with you, Hobi. I really do." It's the truth. A truth she can't hold in any longer, it feels like she-

"Ooooh this is getting juicy," Y/N's voice says, which makes Seulgi jump.

"Shh they'll hear us!" Jungkook says back.

"What the-" Seulgi starts, then realizes she didn't properly turn off her comm.

"Shit, they heard us. Nice one L/N!"

"I'm a hoe for love!" Y/N retorts.

"I'm done with you two," Seulgi says, turning off the comm properly.

Hoseok makes sure he turned his off before turning to her. It's a little awkward now thanks to the intrusion, but they make it work. "I want the same thing."

She smiles, walking forward until she's only a few inches away from him. "Then that's exactly where we'll be in two weeks." Hoseok gives her a cheeky smile and she snickers. "What?" He stifles his laugh.

"I guess Holgi is official then."

~~~
A/N: okay so I lined the timing up with the last chapter, and I just find it funny that Seulgi and Hoseok are confessing their feelings and being all cute while elsewhere Y/N and Jimin be smashing. Idk why I find that funny sksksk.
Not Y/N and Jungkook being a comedic duo-
Oh and yes - I gave a tease here, but the next full smut will be from Jimin's POV... 😏
Also I don't think I've ever written a JM and Y/N make-out scene from Jimin's perspective... let's change that, shall we?
