*The Club*
A/N: Smut warning
WAIT
Before you read ANY further I'm going to give you a virtual hug and say GOOD LUCK cause this one... oh boy... GOOD LUCK!
Let's just say this is it everyone... this is the chapter that you find out if I kill off Jungkook or not...
~20:38~
After getting changed into a nice, sparkly black dress, you and Jimin arrived at the club. It's very exclusive to say the least. On the bright side, at least this isn't interfering with any of your classes. You've missed so many due to this whole fiasco. Jimin had to temporarily resign from his job, obviously the same goes for Jungkook. However, Johnathan said their spot would be open as soon as everything got back to normal, but that doesn't make you feel any better. Will things ever get 'back to normal'?
Jimin is in front of you, the dark blue lighting of the club illuminating his pretty face. God damn, he's attractive as fuck. You can't help but stare, staying with him as he guides you deeper into the busy club. There's a bar on the left, a dance floor on the right. You peek around, trying to get all the details on this place before this spy gets here. You spot a few hallways in the back, near the dance floor. Probably for private rooms and stuff like that, so you'll have to take the spy in that direction. Drawing attention to yourselves is kind of the last thing you want to do right now.
Jimin goes right for the bar (what a surprise), and you follow. As soon as he sits, the bartender comes up to him and asks him if he wants anything. To your surprise, Jimin actually gets a shot. "Woah, Jimin. What are you doing?" you ask as soon as the bartender scurries away.
"Having fun," Jimin mutters back, keeping his eyes on the countertop. The club music is blasting, echoing throughout your body and making him hard to hear. Having fun? On a mission? Is he serious right now?
You decide against pressing, choosing to instead sit next to him and watch as the bartender comes back over. He places the shot in front of Jimin, who smiles and takes it. As soon as he downs it, he lets out a small breath and hands the glass back to the man. "I don't want anything else, but get one for the lady too. On me," Jimin says, pointing to you. Your eyes jump, your body turning towards him as once again the bartender goes to get his order.
"Jimin, we're on mission. We need to keep a clear mind," you say, but he only chuckles.
"The only way I'm getting through this mission is slightly tipsy. If we can't do the simplest task ever with a little bit in our system, we deserve to be fired, don't you think?" What is up with him? Why is he acting so different? You grit your teeth but don't reply seeing as the bartender comes back over. He hands you the shot, and you manage to smile, taking it.
You glance at the liquid in the glass. Should you do it? Jimin stares at you, watching your every move. Is it honestly worth it? You bite your lower lip, peering at him then the glass. One shot won't completely end you. You like to think you have a high tolerance (most of which was built up over the last nine months because of your relationship with Jimin). Without giving yourself another second to think about it, you take it and down the liquid.
Jimin lets out a large huff, impressed. You place the glass back on the countertop and look at him. "Happy?" you ask.
His lips tilt up into a smirk. "Very," he whispers, one of his hands resting on your thigh. You gulp, staring at him with doe eyes as his hand gives your skin a massage. Alright, what the fuck? You may have a bit of alcohol in your system now, but you're still sober enough to know Jimin is acting different. Much different.
His hand trails up more, playing with the end of your short dress. "Jimin, what are you doing?" you ask, not hiding the panic in your tone.
Jimin keeps his smirk. "Come dance with me."
"What?"
"Dance with me." You stare, trying to see if he's joking or not. "We have over an hour until she's here. Come on, we should pass the time."
"By dancing and wearing ourselves out?" you ask.
"I think we can handle some dancing, we've done it before. Actually, we've done much more exhausting things before and have been fine," he replies with a wink.
Without giving you a chance to process his words, he stands, his hand falling off your thigh. You watch as Jimin backs away, giving you one of his cocky smiles before he disappears into the crowd. What the actual fuck. What is this boy doing? You peek around, then spot the short boy on the dance floor. He's dancing by himself, keeping his eyes closed and swaying to the upbeat music.
"Fuck it," you say, hopping off the stool and rushing through the crowd. It's a tough battle, but eventually you break through the people and find Jimin. His eyes open as if sensing you, his hands grabbing your waist. You gasp as he pulls you up against him, your cheeks heating up. He lets out soft breaths that hit your face. For the first time in what feels like years, you're close to Jimin. And not in a way where you think he'll break your heart. He's not doing this to tease you, you know that deep down. He's doing this for something else. You only wish you knew what.
"I'm so glad you joined me," he says, squeezing your hips and bringing his face closer.
"I'm starting to regret it now," you whisper back in a teasing tone. Amusement sparkles in his eyes, making your entire body go cold. Why is he acting so different? It's not quite your Jimin, but it's close. Joking around, holding you, drinking. His hands slide to your back, keeping you in place so you can't escape.
"What's your game here, Park?" you ask, meeting his eyes. He stares back, his gaze intense. Oh no, there's lust in his eyes. "Jimin, I-" He shuts you up.
His lips land on yours.
You squeak, your eyes nearly popping out of your head as Jimin kisses you. Time seems to go still for a few moments when you feel his plump lips on yours. He's moving fast, trying to get you to kiss back. Your body is still stiff. Then, you do probably the dumbest thing you've ever done in your life. You kiss back.
He groans when he feels you reciprocate. You close your eyes, kissing him passionately. He kisses back with the same intensity. His lips cover yours with moisture, his hands grabbing and squeezing your ass, making you moan. His tongue takes its time trailing across your lips, teasing you. Even though your mouth is open and begging for him, he smirks and laps at your lower lip. He sucks on it, nibbling and twisting your poor lip with his teeth.
The small noises he's letting out sends vibrations down your spine, making your entire body give in to him. That's it. That's all you need to completely give yourself to him. Fucking hell, you've missed this. You know it's wrong, but you've missed him so much and you've had a little to drink. Everything your brain is trying to tell you is silenced as soon as Jimin brings you up against his chest.
You stumble over him, his breathing coming out rushed from his nose and hitting your skin. He's so desperate. He's kissing you so desperately it almost hurts. You switch sides, your tongues clashing together. The two of you moan in-sync, your tongues grabbing at each other and trying to explore every single inch. He wants more, so much more, and you can tell. Before you can even process what's happening, he pulls away and grabs your hand, dragging you off the dance floor.
"Jimi-"
"Shh," he interrupts, going to the back hall.
It's much quieter back here, no one's around. It's one of the more secluded hallways, but you notice that all the rooms are locked. Jimin groans, bringing you to the end of the hall and turning. There's a small area there with a table. It's small, but it's there just for decoration. There's even a plant on it. You want to say something, but you don't get the chance. Jimin swipes the plant off the table, grabbing both your legs and picking you up.
Within a flash, you're on the table, his lips connecting to yours once again. You instinctively kiss back, your hands going for his hair and scratching at his scalp. He hums in approval, sending more vibrations tingling down your skin. The two of you make out heavily for several seconds before he pulls back and goes to your neck. At the unexpected contact, you sharply moan, making him grunt and bite on your skin. You jump, but he shoots his tongue out and rubs moisture over your sore spot.
"J-Jimin, what are you..."
"Don't talk. Just keep moaning," he whispers against your skin, his hands grabbing your legs and drifting them apart.
Your eyes widen as he crouches down, using his hands to keep your legs open. "Jimin, we're in public-"
"Then we're going to have to be quick and quiet," he replies, peering up at you. At his lust-filled gaze, all of your protests are silenced. He reaches under your dress, pulling down the fabric of your panties until they're at your ankles. Your heart is racing, your blood in your ears, your mouth grabbing at air. You've needed this. You've needed him. But you're still hesitant.
He senses this and peeks up, licking his lower lip. His eyes stare right through to your soul, his swollen lips ready for you. "You can tell me to stop whenever you want..." He trails off, reaching one finger up and gently tracing it down your clit. "But you won't." And just like that, you give yourself to him.
His head darts under your dress, making you gasp at the sudden action. Within a millisecond, his tongue is against you, making you throw your head back against the wall and let out a soft curse. His tongue goes in circles, lathering you up before he harshly sucks. This action makes your body jerk, a loud moan escaping your throat. He chuckles, his breath hitting your entrance as he keeps on working.
Jimin's just as good as always, giving you little kisses and sucking when it feels right. You're so needy, and he capitalizes on that. He pokes his tongue against your entrance, slightly going inside, but only slightly. It feels so fucking good. You're not sure if it's because of how long it's been, or because he's been teasing you a lot these past few days. Maybe it's both. It's been nineteen days since he got chipped, almost three whole weeks. You haven't felt this in three weeks. Normally that wouldn't be a big deal, but you and him were fucking every night. And if not every night, every other night. As much as you hate to admit it, you've needed a distraction from this constant pain. Even if it's wrong.
He pulls his mouth back for a moment, using his index finger to tease you. He doesn't quite insert himself, he just lets the tip of his finger slide across your lips. "Such a dirty slut, so wet for daddy," he whispers, giving your clit a kiss. You can't bring yourself to verbally reply, so you wrap your legs around his shoulders to signal him to keep going. He chuckles, blowing some air on your throbbing clit before giving it the attention it deserves.
Your heartbeat skyrockets as soon as he gives you another one of his signature harsh sucks, letting his tongue go up and down, licking at your wetness and savoring it. "Mmm, fuck," he mutters, finally letting his finger slip in you. That action makes you gasp and jump, your hands falling to the table and grasping on it hard. He doesn't mess around; he puts two fingers inside you right away and goes as fast as his tiny hands will let him.
The sensation makes you smile, your eyes closing as your head hits the wall. This feels so fucking good. Small but powerful is the best way to describe Jimin's hands. He curls his fingers, slowing down and letting them press against your tight walls. You grind on his fingers, making him chuckle once again. "Yeah, you're still daddy's little girl," he murmurs before planting several kisses on your clit.
You grit your teeth, trying to keep grinding your hips against his fingers. "Stop that. I'm in control, princess," he says, using one hand to squeeze your thigh. You gulp and obey, stopping your movements. "If you're good, daddy will make you cum." He removes his fingers to instead give you one long lick, clearly going slow just to tease you even more. Jimin wants to punish you, doesn't he? He's punishing you for grinding. Wow, you can already tell that when you cum, it'll feel like you're ascending.
His fingers go back inside you, this time he adds another. Three, you're at three fingers. You moan, no longer caring that you're in public. You just want him. He senses this and goes faster, kissing the top of your clit in the process. His fingers work magic inside you while his tongue works magic outside you. The overstimulation between what his mouth is doing and what his hand does is making your eyes roll to the back of your head.
The feeling stops, making you groan and whine for more. He pulls out completely, peeking his head back up from under your dress. Jimin and you lock eyes as he licks his lips in a teasing manner. You watch the whole process, your eyes begging for him. His fingers go back inside, but he stays seated in front of you, watching your face while the pleasure washes over you once more.
"Is that nice, princess? You like the way daddy fingers you?" You shakily moan in response, letting your head hit the wall again. You're a whimpering mess as his fingers destroy you. "You feel so fucking good, baby. Keep moaning for daddy," he says with a groan, making you whine even more. "Am I making you see stars already?" he teases. You just barely open your eyes, nodding. He somehow goes even faster. "Daddy wants you to cum. Can you do that? Can you be a good little girl and please your daddy?"
That alone almost made you cum. "Yes daddy," you say, resisting the urge to moan again.
"Daddy's little girl is naughty today. Come on, let me feel you. I want to hear your moans. I want to see how good I make you feel." Your hands are gripping so hard on the table you feel like you may break it. Your moans get progressively louder as he refuses to slow down, pounding his fingers into you. "Princess," he whispers, licking his lower lip. "Cum for daddy."
Oh God, he remembers how much you love it when he says that. He dives back under your dress, sensing that you're about to give him what he wants. Jimin doesn't stop until you let out his name, moaning and hitting that high you crave so badly. It rocks through your entire body, your mouth letting a lot of soft whines and noises pass, your body jerking from the overwhelming pleasure.
"Don't worry, daddy's gonna clean you up," he says, humming as he removes his fingers and replaces them with his mouth. You're so overstimulated that your body is jumping.
"J-Jimin, I-I can't," you say in a stutter.
"Shh, just a few more seconds, baby. Don't worry, daddy's just cleaning." You gulp and obey, letting his tongue dash out and lick you clean. As he said, he only takes a few more seconds. His body moves away. Jimin comes back up and helps you put your panties back on.
Somehow you manage to slide them up, your legs shaking from what he did. He notices and smirks. "Daddy made you feel that good, huh?" he asks, licking his beautiful plump lips and coming closer. His hand rests on your thigh, and for a moment, you forget everything. The mission, the chip, these past nineteen days: everything. All you care about is Park Jimin, and for a moment, he's standing in front of you.
You kiss him, and he kisses back, using one hand to cup your cheek. Both of you are struggling to breathe, but you also don't care. Your desire for each other is apparent. However, your brain remembers his chip, and your eyes widen as you pull back. Your eyes meet, him out of breath, sweat forming on his forehead. Holy shit, he's attractive as fuck. Dark blue and wavy hair, swollen lips, flushed face. What the fuck, Jimin. And just like that, you forget about the chip again.
He senses your thoughts and keeps his cocky smirk on his lips, bringing his nose to rest on yours. "We still have time, you know. We can go to a private room." You open your mouth to say yes, but no sounds come out. Jimin chuckles, brushing a strand of hair out of your face. "Is that a yes?" You nod. "Good girl," he whispers, backing up so you can stand. You hop down, but instantly regret it. You wobble, about to fall when Jimin steadies you. Both of his hands are on your shoulders, your eyes meeting once again.
Your breath leaves you. He's beyond gorgeous. Your mouth moves on its own. "I love you." The words float in the air, and all at once, the entire point of why you're here comes back to you. You remember he's chipped, you remember the mission, you remember Chaeyoung. He stares, sighing. "You don't love me. Right," you mutter. Jimin still doesn't talk, making you tremble as sadness fills your heart. "Why are you doing this?" Jimin closes his eyes for a moment, backing up and placing one hand on his head. After a few seconds, he lets his hand run through his hair as he opens his eyes to meet yours.
"Chaeyoung told me to have fun, didn't she?"
~Unknown~
Jungkook opens his eyes, the pain that was in his body disappearing. "What the hell?" he whispers, looking around to notice he's on... the Hep? How long has it been since he's been here? He can't even remember, it's been years. Jungkook rubs his eyes, making sure it's real before deciding to step forward. He's on the bridge. The large, rectangular space is strangely foreign. It feels both foreign and familiar, and Jungkook's not sure why.
There's no one around; no one's here to tell him what's going on or where he's supposed to go. He's just in an empty space, walking. "Executive Jeon Jungkook, I see you've finally returned." Jungkook jumps, turning and seeing a single male figure standing there. Jungkooks eyes widen.
"Captain... Captain Kwon?" The man nods. "What... where am I?"
"Isn't it obvious? The Hep."
"Well yeah, but why?" Jungkook asks, not knowing if he wants the answer.
"Come, sit with me."
He hesitates, then realizes there's no way he's getting out of this, so he steps forward. Jungkook places his hand over his cheek and his body stalls. Where are his enhancements? "Where are they?" he asks in a panic.
"What? Where are what?" Captain Kwon asks back, sitting in front of a table. Jungkook hyperventilates, looking around the large space and suddenly feeling claustrophobic. There's so much space, but he still feels like the walls are closing in around him.
"My enhancements. Where are they?"
"I'm sorry, Executive. I have no idea what you're talking about. What enhancements?"
Jungkook's hand slowly lowers from his face. "Sorry, I guess I had a bad dream," Jungkook lies, strolling over to him. He reluctantly sits across from his old Captain, meeting his eyes.
"Are you okay?" Captain Kwon asks, leaning forward.
"Yeah, I'm just confused. Where is everyone?"
"Gone."
Jungkook goes still. "What?"
"They're gone. You don't remember?"
He takes a deep breath. "I don't quite get what you mean, sir."
"They're all gone. The Hep, it's gone," the Captain says.
Jungkook motions to the area around them. "Then what's this?"
"It's all in your head, surely you've figured that out by now."
"If it was all in my head, then how come you don't know about my enhancements?" Jungkook asks.
"I wasn't around for that part of your life, was I?"
Jungkook sighs. "I guess that's true. I never came back and told you about it. Gosh, you would have been so scared."
Captain Kwon nods. "I would've single-handedly took on Mars." They fall into a short silence. As much as Jungkook would love to talk to his old Captain, he misses two people. Namjoon and his true Captain. Park Jimin. Where is he? Is he okay, did they fix his chip yet? What about Tae? What about the crew?
"Am I allowed to go back yet?" Jungkook asks.
Captain Kwon seems only more confused. "Back where?"
"Ugh, this is pointless."
Jungkook stands, heading over to the exit. "I'm leaving," he says. "I need to find Namjoon."
"You can't."
Jungkook pauses, turning around. "Why the hell not? This is the Hep, isn't it? If you're here, he should be here too." The Captain stays silent, only staring at Jungkook. He gets an eerie vibe from Kwon, even if he's a figment of Jungkook's imagination. "I have to go."
"I wouldn't advise that," he softly replies, a sad smile on his face.
"What? Why? God dammit, stop beating around the bush. Just tell me what's going on! Why am I here?!"
The Captain sighs. "You're here because you're waiting."
"Waiting? For what?" Jungkook asks, his throat aching from all the painful questions he's been forced to ask.
"For your time to come."
Jungkook goes stiff, tears filling his brown eyes. "I'm about to die, aren't I?" Captain Kwon doesn't reply, leaving Jungkook speechless for a few seconds. "B-But Namjoon! He said I'd be okay! He told me to trust him! He'd never lie to me!"
Captain Kwon nods. "I know."
"You're wrong. I'm going to live."
"That's up to you to decide."
"Enough of this philosophical bullshit! I'm going to find my father then get out of here and save my friends! They need me!" Captain Kwon stares at Jungkook, not answering. Jungkook eventually gives up, turning towards the door.
"Why are you leaving so soon?" Captain Kwon asks. Jungkook pauses at the question. Why is he? The answer is obvious, it's the only one there is.
"Taehyung," Jungkook whispers.
"What's that?"
"Taehyung," Jungkook repeats, slightly peeking back at Captain Kwon. "I need him. I need him more than anything right now."
"Jungko-"
"No, I'm not taking anymore from you. The only thing keeping me moving right now..." He breaks off for a moment, sniffling. "Is my husband."
"But why?"
"Because he's sitting by my hospital bed right now, crying, thinking I'm never gonna wake up!" Jungkook says in a shout, gritting his teeth. He softly cries. "My own husband is watching me suffer. I can't have that. I can't let him think I'm leaving him. I love him too much. I married the damn man for a reason. If anyone can get me through this, it's him. I'm going back. For him. I don't care what I have to do, who I have to fight. I need Jeon Taehyung, and I need him now." Jungkook doesn't give the Captain a chance to reply, he goes to the door instead.
He's about to open it when Kwon clears his throat. "What now?" Jungkook asks, gritting his teeth. He turns to peek over his shoulder, locking eyes with the Captain.
"Do they really need you?"
"Yes," Jungkook replies without hesitation.
"And would you die for them?" Jungkook goes still. He remembers this. This exact conversation he had back in the Ring. He staggers back, eyes wide. Then, he composes himself and stares right at Kwon.
"Yes. I would."
~22:01~
"Keep your eyes peeled," Jimin says, and you nod.
"Brunette, sharp face, blue eyes," you mutter, staring at the picture one last time before turning your phone off. You hand it to Jimin, who puts it back in his pocket. Curse dresses for not having pockets. At least he was smart enough to wear pants. Now you can use him to hold all your stuff. Oh well, that's not what's important right now. Vixen. You need to find Vixen.
You scan the club, Jimin watching the entrance while you watch the rest. Of course you find nothing, so this may be difficult. "Are we sure she's actually coming?" you whisper-ask.
"Chaeyoung seemed confident. I think she will." You hide your scoff. Oh if Chaeyoung's confident, then it must be true. Yeah right, screw this and screw him. You feel disgusted with yourself that you let him touch you. You feel disgusted that you're even with him right now. This isn't Jimin. What's wrong with you? You let him... fucking hell.
After a few more minutes, Jimin nudges your shoulder. "What?" you ask.
"Look, I think that's her." You peek over at her: he's right. It's hard to tell due to the dim blue lighting of the place, but there's no mistaking that face. Brunette hair all nice and wavy, a sharp face covered with makeup, ocean blue eyes. That has to be her. "You cover the exit. I'll go get her," Jimin says.
"Alright, comm me once you have her secure. Meet me in the first private room in that hall." You point to it.
"What if there's someone in there?"
"Then we'll talk to her while people are fucking. Who cares," you reply.
Jimin snickers. "So dirty."
"Stop. I'm not doing this again."
"Uh huh, sure. Doesn't change the fact that you let me touch you, princess," he says.
You snap your eyes to Jimin. "Go get her already, will you? I'll go wait by the exit and listen for your comm."
Jimin rolls his eyes, then leans forward. He grips your thigh harshly, making you gasp. "You can try and convince yourself with all the delusions you want, but you liked it. I bet you'll go home tonight and finger yourself thinking of it."
"You're wrong," you reply.
"Right. You may be pissed at yourself right now, but you still let it happen. You let me eat you out. You let me taste that pretty pussy of yours. Not only did you let me do it at all, but you let me do it in public. You let me make you cum and moan and beg for-"
"We're on a mission! Go get her!" you say, ripping yourself away from his grasp.
"Alright, sweetheart. I'm going. Just make sure you send a recording of you masturbating tonight. I could always use something to go off of." He winks at you, turning and trotting away. You stand there, flabbergasted. Well, that wasn't what you were expecting. Regardless, you grumble to yourself and head over to the back door. You let out a huff, placing both your hands on your hips. You still need to be alert, even with a lot on your mind and a shot in your system. But... Jimin.
Jimin knows how to get under your skin, you'll give him that. He knows how to make your body squirm and shiver. Fuck. This isn't what you're supposed to be thinking about. As much as you hate to admit it, he's right. You're disgusted with yourself for letting it happen, but that doesn't change the fact that you liked it. You moaned out his name. You let him under your dress. You let him taste you.
This is pointless. Thinking about it won't help. Honestly, at this point you're not sure what to do. How do you even get this chip out of his head? You're so lost. You could try breaking into Chaeyoung's office and studying the report, but there's two problems with that. 1) You're not a scientist, 2) the leader of Earth's office has 24/7 surveillance. Even when she's not in it, you're sure someone else is, checking to make sure there's no bugs or anything like that in her space. The odds of you getting in there are slim to none.
Two minutes pass, then, your comm goes off. "First hallway, fourth private room down. The first three were occupied, sorry I don't feel like watching people fuck, I'd rather just fuck you instead," Jimin says.
"Alright, I'm on my way."
"What so you don't want to fuck?"
"No," you say, keeping your voice steady.
Jimin laughs. "Wow. Can you at least watch me jerk off?"
"Take a hint. No."
"Come on, baby. Don't you want to please-"
"Focus. We can talk about this after. I'm on my way."
You turn off your comm before giving him a chance to reply, muting it and walking through the club. Some people give you strange glances, some give you lust-filled glares, and some don't look at you at all. Whatever, you don't care. All that matters right now is the spy. So, you push aside all your thoughts and follow Jimin's directions down to the fourth private room in the first hallway. You don't even knock, you just go in.
Jimin is with a brunette, talking to her as you close and lock the door behind you. "Ah, there she is. The love of my life," he says enthusiastically. You raise a brow, glancing at the girl behind him. She seems entranced by Jimin. Yeah, clearly she's seen the news. Everyone knows his face. And just like him, everyone knows you. They know you two are dating and 'destined to be together', so he's putting up an act in front of her. Whatever.
He approaches and gives your lips a quick peck. You recoil, glaring at him before going over to her. "Hi. Vixen, right?" you ask.
She nods. "Where is everyone?" Obviously she's cautious, you can see her hand holding the back of her jeans. Maybe something's tucked in there.
"What do you mean?" you ask in confusion.
"This is supposed to be a janitor get together," Vixen replies.
Jimin snickers. "Oh you poor, naïve girl. Should you do the honors or shall I?" Jimin asks you.
"You go ahead, I'll block the door," you reply with a shrug.
Vixen instantly gets what's going on and pulls a weapon out. So she was hiding something in her jeans. A knife. Jimin panics for a moment, then laughs. "You can't be serious."
"I got this, Jimin," you say. As much as you would prefer he handles it, you also don't want him to die.
You come forward, going past a very shocked Jimin. Vixen grits her teeth and attacks. You easily dodge her knife swipes, watching her every move. It looks like she's putting more weight on her right leg than her left. If you can hit her right leg hard enough, she'll go tumbling to the ground.
She manages to almost cut you, nicking your shoulder, but you don't care. It's just a small burn like from a razor, nothing crazy. You predict her next swipe and grab her arm, kicking and knocking her leg out from under her. She yelps as she falls, and you disarm her, grabbing the knife and letting out a huff.
"Alright master of seduction, your turn," you say, shaking your head and going over to the door. Jimin seems mildly impressed by your fighting, but he doesn't speak until he kneels in front of the spy.
"I'll never tell you anything. I'll fight until my last breath," Vixen says.
"Well that sucks. I was hoping you could tell me some things." He brushes his hand across her cheek. "Come on, don't be shy." Vixen seems to get lost in his eyes for a few moments, then she snaps back to her senses.
"I'm not letting some pretty boy trick me into telling him anything."
Jimin pouts, his puppy eyes so damn tempting. "Pretty? Just pretty? Not gorgeous? Hot as fuck?" he asks, a little bit of a whine on the edge of his voice.
Vixen seems confused, looking over at you. "How the hell are you dating him?"
"I'm not," you grumble, leaning against the door. That seems to shock her, which makes you sigh. "Fuck it," you whisper, trotting over. "Chaeyoung put a chip inside his head. This isn't Jimin. That's what I mean. I'm dating Park Jimin, not whoever the fuck this is. I call him Jim sometimes."
"Yeah, you let Jim eat you out in the corner of this club, so don't act so high and mighty," Jimin says in a hiss, standing and turning to face you. "Telling a spy a lie? What's your plan here? Help her escape? You think Mars will do something about it?"
You dryly laugh. "Hell no, if I let her go or help her escape, Chaeyoung kills you. I'd lose any chance of getting my Jimin back. I'm not stupid, I just figured Vixen would want to know in case she manages to escape on her own." As soon as the words leave your lips, Vixen charges forward and crashes into Jimin. You purse your lips, holding the knife by your side and stepping back. You don't care. You only watch as Jimin struggles.
Vixen and Jimin fight, several punches being thrown with Vixen looking like she might win until Jimin lands one more solid punch and knocks her clean out. "Hand me the knife," Jimin says.
"What? Why? You already knocked her out."
"Give it to me!" he says, whipping his head to look back at you.
"Tell me why and maybe I will."
"She needs to die."
You take a step back, your grip on the knife tightening. "Our orders were to bring her in for questioning. Chaeyoung herself said she was going to come down and bring her into her private office-"
"Don't you get it? That's a cover up!" he interrupts.
Your eyes widen. "What?"
"Your orders were to bring her in alive. Mine were to kill her if necessary. Chaeyoung was going to come down here to take her away from you."
"To kill her privately?" you ask, but it's more of a statement.
"Exactly. She just wanted you to capture her, but the intent was never to question her. We got the tape recorder of everything she's learned so far. We don't need her alive anymore. Chae doesn't want to risk her escaping."
You feel numb, staring at the man once known as Park Jimin. He's asking you for a knife so he can kill an unconscious, unarmed woman. "Fuck this," you mumble. "You take her out back and throw her in the river. I'm out," you add, storming to the door.
"Where are you going? I'm not done with you."
"Yes, you are, Jimin!" you yell, whipping around to glare at him. "We're done! There's no you and me!" You tear up, forcing your voice to stay steady. "She took you from me, and every day you're gone I lose more and more hope that you're coming back." Jimin stares, refusing to answer, so you continue. "Until you're mine again, I don't want to see you. I don't want to even hear your voice unless Chaeyoung orders me to. Don't talk to me, don't look at me, and don't you dare fucking touch me. I know you still love my body." His gaze traveling over you confirms your point. "But I don't care. I don't care who's face you're wearing. You touch me, I break your nose. Got it?" At his lack of words, you roll your eyes. "Throw her in the river. I'll bring Chaeyoung so she can help you."
Without another word, you leave, rushing out of not only the room but the club. You run outside and instantly regret it. It's raining like crazy. Your body hates the feeling, but right now all you see is red. You bring your comm to your lips and change the frequency. "Meet me in the first alley near the club. Can't miss it. We got the spy."
"On my way," Chaeyoung's voice replies, the comm going dead after that. You let out a huff and walk away from the club, going to the alleyway and strolling down into the corner. You hide there, in the shadows, then you bring your comm to your mouth again.
You change the frequency once more and press down on it. "Seul?" There's a beat of static.
"Y/N! Jungkook's in surgery!"
"He's in... he's in what?"
"Anya and Sapphire are back! I was trying to reach you, but Jimin told me you guys were on a mission and to comm back later." Shit, that must have been when you were changing at his house.
"I'll be there soon, Seul. There's something I have to take care of first."
There's silence for a moment. "What do you mean?" Seulgi asks, her voice trembling. With a sigh, you stare down at your comm and tell her everything.
~22:37~
Taehyung paces back and forth outside Jungkook's room, his anxiety hitting its peek. How can it not? Jungkook's still in surgery, and Tae hasn't heard anything since they took him in. No one's come out to check on him or anything. By this point, the entire crew minus Jimin and Y/N are here. Seulgi said something about those two being on a mission from Chaeyoung, which pisses him off. He knows Y/N will hate herself for not being here, but if she doesn't do the mission, Jimin dies too. That's the last thing anyone needs right now.
It's safe to say a lot of people are waiting outside right now. Jungkook's parents, Taehyung, Jin, Hoseok, Seulgi, Yoongi, and Baekhyun. Yeah, that's a lot of people. Eight. All eight here for Jungkook. This is it, this is Jungkook's last chance. No one has talked the whole time, but can anyone blame them? This is the race for Jungkook's life. The last few months have all been leading here. This moment. This is it.
Taehyung finally decides to sit down again, instead letting his leg bounce up and down constantly. "What do we do if he doesn't make it?" Jungkook's mother asks.
"Don't say that," Jungkook's father replies.
"You heard the girl. Seven percent. Seven God damn percent. Do you realize how low that is?"
Jungkook's father sighs. "I know, but it's still a chance. Until then, let's not even think about it."
Taehyung slumps his shoulders, hanging his head in defeat. God he was foolish for having hope. It's been an hour and a half now. Granted, Tae knew this wouldn't be an easy surgery, but he didn't think it'd take this long either. Maybe it's just his nerves getting to him, or maybe it's him giving up. He doesn't want to give up on Jungkook, but sometimes even when you fight as hard as you can, you still lose.
Seulgi seems on edge too. Tae knows she cares about Jungkook a lot, but she seems more than just upset or anxious. There's something else there. She stepped away a few minutes ago because she got a comm from Y/N, but she didn't tell anyone what the girl had to say. Taehyung's too worried about Jungkook to ask right now, but he hopes their mission is going okay. If something was wrong, he's sure Seulgi would have told them.
Before he can dive any deeper into his thoughts, the doors burst open. A very tired Anya trots out, staring at Taehyung for a few seconds. She wobbles, falling against the wall and using it for support. "Ani!" Jin says, jumping into action. He approaches her side, holding her. "Hey, you're okay. I got you," he whispers, brushing her hair out of her face. She softly smiles, leaning in to his touch. Taehyung shakily stands as Sapphire departs the room, approaching Yoongi with tears streaming down her face. Oh no. Oh God, please no.
Yoongi hugs the girl, who hugs back twice as hard. "Fuck, I missed you," Yoongi mutters, burying his head into her neck. Taehyung is loving the reunions and all, but he can't help but tremble. Everyone is standing now, staring at Anya and Sapphire expectantly. They back away from their significant others, glancing at the crowd with exhaustion present in their eyes. Jin and Yoongi are both gazing right at their female counterparts, love in their expression from having their girlfriends back. Taehyung's heart melts at the sight, but he quickly pays attention to Anya.
"What... what happened?" Tae asks, fearing the answer based on their expressions. Anya softly sighs, peeking at Jin before locking eyes with Taehyung.
"He's alright."
Instantly, cheers break out throughout the room, everyone hugging each other and crying like there's no tomorrow. Taehyung's a mess, snot and tears trailing down his face, but he can't bring himself to care right now. Jungkook's alright. He's alive. After months of waiting for him to die, he's going to pull through. He's not going to die at twenty-three.
"Guys, that's not the only thing I have to say," Anya says. Everyone turns to Anya, who brightly smiles. "He's awake." Taehyung sprints into the operating room without a second thought, panting as soon as he sees Jungkook. He's rested on the table, slowly waking up. How the hell he's waking up so soon after anesthesia is beyond Tae, but he doesn't care. Maybe it had something to do with the surgery or the enhancements or whatever, he doesn't care.
"Jeon Jungkook!" Tae yells.
The man peeks up and blinks. "T...Tae?" he whispers as his husband approaches. Taehyung wipes away one of his tears, nodding rapidly as the rest of the crew dashes in the room. Jungkook's parents go in front of them, standing at the edge of the bed and staring at their son in amazement. "What happened?" Jungkook asks, his voice raspy. Tae ignores the raspy tone, leaning down and hugging his husband. Jungkook chuckles, weakly hugging back. Tae senses Jungkook needs space, but he can't resist. Tae hugs him for a few more seconds before backing off.
"Jungkook," Tae says, staying close.
"Am I dreaming, or is the most beautiful person in the world in front of me?" Jungkook asks.
Taehyung whimpers, shakily nodding. "I love you, Jungkook. I love you so, so much."
"Come here." Tae does, his lips pressing against Jungkook's for a few seconds. "Can I tell you a secret?" Jungkook asks when he pulls back. Tae bites his lower lip, then nods. "Every second I was gone, I was thinking of you."
"Pfft, every second? Babe, I highly doubt-"
"I love you," Jungkook interrupts. Tae stares in shock, the relief he's feeling too much to handle. "I wanted to fight for you. You and Namjoon were what convinced me to come back. I fought for you."
Taehyung doesn't hide the tears falling down his face. "Jungkook, you really mean that?"
Jungkook weakly points to Tae's left hand, the ring proudly shining in the hospital lighting. "I wouldn't trade you for anything. There's not a single person I love more than you Taehyung."
That's what sends Taehyung into third degree shock. "B-But what about-"
"You. It's always been you," Jungkook says, lowering his voice to a murmur.
The words roll off Jungkook's tongue so naturally that Taehyung can't help but have a breakdown. "You're alright. You're actually alright," Tae says in a sob, staring at his husband through blurry eyes.
"I'm not leaving you, I promise. I promise, Tae," he whispers, tearing up as well. The two cry together for a few moments, but Tae knows he needs to calm down. The others behind him need to greet Jungkook as well. Tae isn't the only one who cares about Jungkook. Tae steps back slightly, but only slightly, mostly to observe Jungkook's face.
He has some bandages on his face where his enhancements used to be, and his eyes are a darker brown than normal. So it worked. Yoongi and Taehyung are the last two enhanced in the crew. Anya steps forward, Jin helping her walk.
"You almost died," Anya says.
"Anya?" Jungkook asks. He saw her before surgery, but clearly he doesn't remember that.
She nods. "Sapphire and I found something on Pluto. The start of the creatures. They're made out of what enhancements are. After some experimenting on the creatures and myself, I figured out how to remove enhancements."
Jungkook processes her words, then he starts to panic. "They're... they're gone? You got them out of me?"
"I'm sorry, Kook. I know that's a lot to take in, but yeah. They're gone."
He looks down, taking it all in. "So how long do I have now?" Jungkook asks.
"As far as I can tell, you're perfectly healthy. You'll have to go through some physical therapy and it'll take time to get used to not having enhancements, but you should be able to live out the rest of your life."
Everyone cheers and claps at her words, Hoseok even whistling in amazement. Jungkook softly smiles, but there's still some sadness in his eyes as he looks around. "How long was I out for?" Jungkook asks.
"Too long," Tae replies.
"Is Jimin...?"
"I'm sorry, he's still chipped."
"Fuck." Jungkook groans, leaning back. His eyes scan over the faces, him nodding to his parents who are softly crying. "Wait," he whispers, eyes expanding. "Where's Y/N?"
"She's on a mission," Tae replies.
"Oh," he mutters.
"Actually, no. She's not," Seulgi says.
Everyone goes quiet. Even the sobs stop as they turn to stare at Seulgi. Jungkook's eyes fill with pain as him and Seulgi gaze at each other. "Where is she?" Jungkook asks. Seulgi sighs, averting her eyes.
"Fighting Chaeyoung."
~22:52~
You trot back and forth like a predator as she enters the alleyway. Your hand is gripping the knife, your eyes narrowed, your blood boiling. She clearly expected this, seeing as she has a knife in her hand as well. The rain is pouring down on the two of you, your hair drenched, your body feeling heavy. Chaeyoung is only about thirty feet away from you. So close yet so far. Fuck this. Fuck everything. She needs to pay for what she's done. You don't care about the consequences right now. She needs to suffer.
"Are you satisfied?" your voice says in an echo, thunder crackling over your head. Chaeyoung takes a moment, then sighs. "Well?! Have I suffered enough for you? Have you had your fun with your pet? The one who was supposed to be my husband!" More thunder sounds off, the sound sending shivers down your skin.
"I don't know what you want me to say," she replies, which only makes you even more furious. Your eyes are focused only on her, your teeth clattering together.
"Have I suffered enough?" you ask, watching her every move. She takes a cautious step forward, making you scoff. "Yes or no. That's what I want you to say. Tell me when it's enough! When do I get my life back! My soulmate back!" You let out a small whimper, your tears masked by the rain. "Jimin is gone! My crew is fighting and in shambles! Jungkook is dying! When is it enough!?" you add in a yell, your body nearly jumping as the words are ripped from your throat.
"Yes. Yes, you have," she sadly says.
"Then why?! Why keep him? Why keep my crew apart?" you ask, almost falling over from the feelings swelling through your body. "You took everything from me! Your sister took my family, you took my husband and my friends. What do I have left, Chaeyoung? When does this end? Please, tell me! I don't know where I'm going, if I even want to keep going. I just want to fucking die and it's all because of you!"
She flinches at your words. "Every day I have to wake up and watch my love choose you! Every day I wake up and have to wonder if he'll slap me or hurt me again! Every day I have to wake up alone." You break off, letting out a small cry. "I-I have to wake up alone, wondering if I'll ever get him back! If he's in there watching every moment. If he'd even live once the chip is removed!" You cut yourself off, seething. "I told you I was going to kill you."
"Jimin will die-"
"I'll find a way. I'll fucking find a way to kill you and save him. I don't care anymore. You wanted me to break, didn't you?" She doesn't reply. "Well this is it, Chaeyoung. I'm breaking. You broke me, but that was your biggest mistake." Chaeyoung starts stepping back, making you laugh. "I don't have anything left to lose. Even if I die I wouldn't care. Anger is the only thing keeping me alive..." You scoff, shaking your head. "And I'm about to let it all out on you."
Without giving her a chance to say anything, you run forward, going right for her. She yelps at your boldness, jumping back and dodging your relentless swipes. You grunt as you go for it, not caring about anything else right now. Your anger is the only thing you can see as you try hitting her with the knife. Then, you remember Yoongi's words.
'If you let it consume you and you forget the basics, you'll lose in a heartbeat. I can't have that. Your anger will keep you fighting, but please don't do anything rash. That's why we should work on defense. She knows when to attack, and you need to be ready for that.'
With a sigh, you back off. If you're too aggressive and she finds a weakness in your attacks, you're dead. She's holding a knife now: this isn't just fists. This isn't a sparring match with Yoongi. This is the real shit. You're probably not ready for it, but you have hope. She's surprised that you backed away, but doesn't hesitate to take action. She takes a step, going for an uppercut with her knife. You gasp as you stagger back, not expecting the sudden move. She smirks at your reaction, jabbing forward but missing.
You find yourself backing up, trying to gain some distance. She swipes, aiming for your left side. You duck, nearly falling over in the process. Whenever she attacks, she's careful not to leave herself too open. Shit. This will be tough. It'll be tough to get even one hit on her let alone enough to stop her for good. How are you going to do this?
With a gulp, you force down your fear and stand in a confident defensive position. She chuckles at your state before going right back in. She slashes, you unprepared and taking it off the arm. You squeak at the sudden pain, but you don't let that stop you. While she swipes, you pull the same move you used against Jungkook. You drop the knife with one hand then kneel, grabbing it with your other. She's so shocked by the move that she doesn't anticipate you swiping up.
Due to her fast reactions, she manages to jump back, but not enough. You do an uppercut and leave a gash on her chin, making her whimper and back up. You have a long scratch on your arm, but luckily it's not that deep. Thunder sounds off, making you jolt from the sudden sound. She's so close yet so far. Chaeyoung charges next, coming straight at you. Somehow you manage to side step and go for a kick. Of course, your kicking has never been that good, so you miss.
She laughs at your failed attempt. Instead of using the knife, she goes with her fist, making you duck and retaliate by punching her stomach. She recoils, groaning. You don't give her any chance to recover. You go forward and bang your knife off of hers. She grits her teeth, coming at you with her free hand. You spin around, using your elbow to hit hers and make her drop the knife.
Chaeyoung jumps as you kick the thing away from her and behind you. She's now facing the entrance of the alley, backing up with her fists raised. The rain clouds your vision, but once again, you don't care. You don't care at all. You decide to charge, going right at her and figuring you have the upper hand since you have the knife. She predicts your move and catches your arm, punching you square in the jaw.
You holler in pain, backing up and panting. God damn that was a hard punch. You're seeing stars. She doesn't back down, she throws another punch. You just barely manage to dodge, you stabbing the knife forward. She catches it, and the two of you fight. You fight to push it down towards her chest, she fights to keep you where you are. You swear you hear footsteps and a male voice yelling, but you're not sure, so you choose against looking for it. Killing Chaeyoung is all you care about right now.
She smirks, starting to get the upper hand. You groan, fighting back and trying to push it down, but she keeps pushing it away. Those footsteps get louder, making you worried. No no no, please don't stop the fight. Did she call someone? Did she call backup just in case? Regardless, you try again, but then she takes control.
She grabs your arm and sends you flying forward. You now have your back facing her, but you spin around and stab as fast as you can, sensing a presence behind you. Your knife goes deep, sinking into skin. You let out a mental cheer, looking up to meet her eyes. However, it's not Chaeyoung you stabbed.
It's Jimin.
Your eyes widen as he stares at you, his mouth falling open. You got him right in the side, only a few inches below his chest. "Y-Y," he starts, panting. "Y/N..."
You cry, grabbing his body as the two of you slump to the ground. "No no no! Jimin, baby no!" you shout, watching as tears fall out of the corners of his eyes. "Jimin, stay with me, please stay with me," you plead, grabbing his shirt. The knife is still inside him, keeping the blood from going everywhere.
"Are you just going to fucking stand there?" you say, whipping up to look at Chaeyoung. Her eyes are just as wide as yours, her hand covering her open mouth. "Call someone! Anyone! We need to get him treated immediately!"
Chaeyoung shakily nods. "We'll take him to my lab. It's the safest place for him, we can heal him quickly."
"I don't care what you do, just do it now!" You look back down, meeting his eyes. To your surprise, his hand reaches up and lands on your cheek. You hear Chaeyoung talking to someone on her comm, but that doesn't matter. The rain slows down as time stands still. All that you care about is looking into Jimin's eyes. He looks so broken, so lost. So confused.
"Please. Stay with me. Keep looking into my eyes," you say, crying as hard as you can.
"Don't cry," he mutters, softly smiling.
That has you freezing. "Ji... Jimin?"
His hand is covered in blood, the substance spreading across your skin but once again: you don't care. "Please don't cry. I don't want to see you cry," he manages to say, gently wiping a couple of your tears away. You stare, trying to process his words, so he keeps talking. "At least I get to see you... one last time," he stutters out.
Your heart swells with pain, your lungs burning with the urge to scream. "Jimin, baby please. Stay with me!"
He gazes at you, brushing his thumb across your cheek gently. "Kiss me," he whispers.
"Jimin, no, you need to save your-"
"Kiss me," he interrupts in a soft tone. Reluctantly, you lean down and press your lips on his. The two of you are covered in rain, but for the first time in three weeks, you're kissing him. You're kissing your boyfriend. You know just by looking at him: the spike of adrenaline and the pain of being stabbed brought the real Jimin out. He's here. Your Jimin is here.
When you pull back, you flutter your eyes open, keeping your face close to his. "You're gonna be okay, I'm not letting you die," you whisper. You place your hand over his, one hand on your cheek and one holding his wound. "Just look at me and only me. I'm not leaving you. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."
He keeps his smile, letting out a breath. "I forgive you, Y/N." You shakily nod, watching as he scans over your face. "You're so... beautiful."
You sniffle, shaking your head. "Jimin..."
"Baby, look into my eyes."
Your heart stops. Did he just call you baby? Not out of lust? So your theory is right. He's here. You obey him, staring right into his eyes. He softly chuckles, admiring your face. There's love in his gorgeous brown eyes. Then, he parts his lips and says the words you never thought you'd hear from him again.
"I love you."
You break down, letting your head fall to his chest, feeling the heavy breaths he's taking. You peek your head up, your body on top of his, your face only inches away from him. He can't seem to form any more words, his mouth trying, but he can't. "Shh, it's okay, Mochi. It's okay. Just fight. Stay alive for me, okay?" He just barely nods, more tears rolling down his face.
"I love you," he says one last time before closing his eyes.
~23:42~
Jungkook stands on the rooftop, looking out at the stars. He finally managed to sneak away from everyone, claiming he was 'going to the bathroom', but that was a complete lie. He just needed a moment to look at the stars. Throughout this entire journey, Jungkook has had one thing holding him back. This entire time he's been held back. No, it wasn't his enhancements.
At the thought, his hand traces over the bandages covering his cheeks. His body feels weak. It took him a while to stand due to minor muscle atrophy, and he still feels that weakness now. His legs are in pain just from standing, although that can be from the lack of enhancements too. When you have a chemical in your body your whole life, getting it removed is strange. Beyond strange. Jungkook feels more than weak. He feels useless.
How many situations has Jungkook gotten the crew out of thanks to his enhancements? Too many to count. Way too many. Now, here he is, standing under the stars without the thing that was a symbol of who he was. Now since it's gone, who is he? Is he still Jeon Jungkook, the Executive of the Moonchild? Apparently there isn't even a Moonchild anymore. Seulgi filled Jungkook in, she told him that the crew left Jimin and formed their own merry band. Jungkook can't blame her, but he's also confused. So is he sidelined now? Is that it?
There's nothing he can really do about it, so he continues to keep his gaze on the stars. He feels a presence next to him, and he sighs. He doesn't even need to ask who it is. Truthfully, he doesn't need to look either. Jungkook keeps his eyes up and doesn't speak for several seconds. They share a comfortable silence, the two gazing up at the stars together. Jungkook knows what he has to do, but he's not sure if he's strong enough to do it. Fuck, he's already tearing up at the thought. But it has to be done.
"This entire journey," he whispers, keeping his hands on the railing as the wind brushes by his face. "It made me a new person, and you were always my best friend. I stayed on the Hep as long as I did because of you. I turned down every other offer because you were the one I wanted to be around. You'll forever be my best friend, my father figure. I love you, Joon, but now I know what you were trying to tell me."
Jungkook pauses, turning and looking at the silhouette besides him. Kim Namjoon is there, their eyes locking. "Find me. That's what you told me. I know what you meant. I saw myself in you for the longest time. I sought validation from you at every turn even though I was the one that was supposed to be guiding you. You... you were telling me to find myself, weren't you?" Jungkook breaks off, sniffling and wiping one of his tears away. He even mutters a curse before continuing.
"I did it, Joon. I know who I am. Or... I think I do. I was never meant for enhancements. I was never meant for the action. I was meant to be wherever my friends were. Y/N, Jimin, Taehyung, Hoseok, Seulgi, Jin, Yoongi, Baekhyun. I go where they go. That's who I am. I can't truly be myself without them. These past few months, I was so excited to come and see you that I almost craved it. I almost used my enhancements more to see you sooner. You were right. Dying wasn't the thing that was best for me. It wasn't right going to see you again so fast." Jungkook peers at Joon with pride in his eyes. "Living. Living was the real test. It was what I was meant for this entire time."
Jungkook sighs, smiling softly. "I feel like a whole new person, and it's not just because my enhancements are gone. You showed me so much, but I see what you want from me now. You want me to move on, to stop holding back." Namjoon smiles back, still not speaking. Truthfully, Jungkook isn't sure if he even can. Maybe this is fate. This was meant to be. Namjoon was in his life for a reason, and now he's out of it for a reason too.
"I can never forget you, but I need to move on. For Taehyung, for the crew, but most importantly, for myself. So... I'm letting you go." As soon as the words leave his mouth, all the weight on his chest seems to lift. The night sky seems to shine a little more brightly. Jungkook locks eyes with Namjoon, then notices something. He's fading.
Jungkook watches in silence as Namjoon's silhouette starts to disappear. It's taking every ounce of strength Jungkook has not to try and talk to him, to get him back. This is his father figure, slowly fading away. The nightmares, the flashbacks, living exactly like Namjoon: it's not good for Jungkook. Namjoon knew that. So, he watches Namjoon's body fade away with a bunny smile. He even does a small salute.
Soon enough, every particle is gone. Jungkook is left alone again, the rooftop feeling almost... complete. Despite him being alone, he feels complete. Jungkook glances up at the stars, where a trail of dust is. Where Namjoon is going. He's flying to the sky. Jungkook leans against the railing and sighs, closing his eyes.
"Goodbye, Kim Namjoon..."
