🌷PART 3: WE CAN DO THIS!🌷

After eating their lunches, everyone gathered at the Chipettes' tree house, talking and discussing the changes they did.

"So you're saying that we are not going to join the bike race anymore?" Simon asked curiously.

"No, no!" answered Alvin. "I just mean that we will not be having a bike race as a practice this time."

"Wait, I'm... I'm confused," Theodore spoke.

"I just thought that maybe playing sports that requires speed and teamwork is better so that there's no Simon to fight with," Alvin explained.

"Hey!" Simon exclaimed.

"Anyways, maybe we can play soccer this afternoon as a practice," Alvin added. "Agreed?"

The Chipmunks and the Chipettes nodded, agreeing on what Alvin spoke.

"We'll meet at our front yard later at exactly two in the afternoon," Jeanette spoke.

Noontime came, after finishing their chores, they all went towards the Seville's front yard with their soccer uniforms on.

"Everyone ready?" Alvin asked.

"Uh, where's Brittany?" Theodore asked.

"She went to Marina Rodentia again this morning," Eleanor answered.

"I wonder what she's doing there," Theodore added, "I thought Marina is still sleeping at noon during weekends. Then why did she call her early today?"

"I know," said Eleanor. "Strange, right?"

"So here we are once more, playing soccer," Alvin uttered. "Since I'm the one who planned this, I shall be the coach."

"B-But..." said Simon.

"Uh-uh, no buts Simon," Alvin interrupted, covering Simon's mouth with his hand. "During our match a few years ago, all of you already experienced being a coach and I didn't even get a chance to prove my self!"

Simon sighed. "Alright, Alvin. You may be the coach this time."

"Oh... thanks," Alvin answered, surprised if what he heard as a reply.

"I actually agreed on this!" Simon spoke.

"Y-You did?" asked Alvin.

"Through this, we cannot just improve the strength of our legs, we can also improve our speed when dodging and passing through the other bikers in the competition," Simon responded. "And the best thing is that we can all have fun!"

"Normally I'll be annoyed with you but since you agreed with me and made me the coach, I'll take that as a compliment," Alvin answered.

"Guys, let's start before we lose our sunlight," Eleanor reminded.

Alvin stepped in front of them, his smile turned to seriousness. "Everyone form a straight line in front of me!" he ordered.

Everyone did what was told. "Now we will be grouped into two. Each team will fight and whoever wins will... will be..."

"Will have a free ice cream!" Theodore shouted cheerfully.

"Theodore, seriously?" Alvin asked.

"Then how am I suppose to do my best if the winner doesn't have a prize?" Theodore added.

"Fine," Alvin spoke after letting out a sigh. "Whoever wins will have a free ice cream," he added with no excitement on his voice.

"Now count one and two!" he spoke.

"Uhm... wait, Alvin," Jeanette uttered, "It cannot be two teams since Brittany's not here. It's not fair if one of the teams have more group mates than the other."

They were filled with questions when they suddenly saw Miss Miller watering her plants.

"Hey, Miss Miller," Eleanor greeted.

"Oh, hey, Eleanor. What are you doing?" Miss Miller asked.

"We're playing soccer but the problem is that we need a replacement for Brittany," Eleanor answered.

"Well, you can't count me in," said Miss Miller as they walked towards the others.

"Well, problem fixed!" Eleanor beamed. "Miss Miller, count one!"

"One!" Miss Miller started.

"Two!"

"One!"

"Two!"

"One!"

"Two!" Alvin finished up.

After the counting, everyone got their designated teams. Team One are Miss Miller, Jeanette, and Eleanor while Team Two are Simon, Theodore, and Alvin.

"Let's do this!" Alvin beamed.
