Chapter 6: Can I date you again?

The so-called date ended, and Taehyung was in the car with Jungkook who was driving. It was pure silence and kind of awkward. Taehyung was just leaning his head on the car's window, counting each car that passes by their way.

Finally, their silence came to end when they arrived at Jungkook's house. Taehyung can breathe for so long. He got out of the car, walking away first.

"Hyung" Suddenly, Jungkook called him.

"Yes?" He replied turning around to look at him.

"Thank you for today's date, I enjoyed it." Jungkook smiled.

"Yeah, sure." He simply retorted.

"By the way, I hope we can continue doing this until I will able to court her." Jungkook uttered, rubbing the back of his neck.

"If that's what you want, as long as you'll pay me I won't mind." Taehyung responded.

"Thank you once again, hyung, you're such a big help to me." Jungkook bowed his head, for the first time, to show respect.

"You're welcome." Taehyung said going inside the house.

For some reason, he wasn't in the mood to do something for today. He just wanted to be alone and mind his own business.

"Hyung! Can we do that again? I want to date you again." He heard Jungkook ask him.

"I told you, Jungkook, everything was fine just make sure to give my payment. You don't have to ask my permission." Taehyung told him not bothering to look at him.

"Okay, I understand! Thank you again!" Jungkook screamed.

Taehyung quickly went to his room to change his clothes to something comfy.

"Tae, are you inside?"

"Yeah, come in." Taehyung replied wearing his black shirt.

The door was opened and saw Alliyah going inside his room.

"What do you need? Do you need any help?" He asked looking at her.

"Nothing really, I'm just curious and wanted to ask something." Alliyah was smiling cheekily.

"About what?" Taehyung inquired.

"About you and master Jungkook's date. Does it goes well?" Alliyah seemed so excited.

"You mean the fake date?" Taehyung cleared out.

"Well, you can call it like that." Alliyah giggled.

"Nothing, it's just a common date, knowing each other and talking about some topic. Besides, he planned it out to make some move with the girl her like, that's it." Taehyung clarified.

"Wait, what? The girl he likes?" Alliyah was shocked and confused.

"Yeah, he used me to make her jealous." Taehyung said.

"You must be kidding me, Tae. Master Jeon doesn't like anyone, he said he's not interested in love yet and he doesn't see someone to like with." Alliyah retorted.

"Believe it or not, that's what the real intention of the date is." Taehyung sighed.

"That's weird, as far as I know, if Master Jeon will like someone he will show it to that someone. It depends if you will notice his motive to you. Master Jeon doesn't sound like what you said." Alliyah uttered.

"Well, he's an adult now and most of his age change their minds quickly. Besides, it was good for me, I earned money from him and so he will stop bothering me." Taehyung replied.

"If that's what you said, but for me, I think he likes you. Yeah, it might sound like it was too fast for him to like you but I think it's possible that he likes you. Trust me, he's only different when it comes to you." Alliyah chuckled.

"Whether he likes me or not, there's no way I will like him back. He's just a kid in my eyes and there's an age gap between us." Taehyung stated.

"But what if just what if there's a possibility that you might like him back?" Alliyah suddenly mentioned.

"I will stop myself then." Taehyung simply replied.

"What?" Alliyah was sad.

"You see, he's still a kid, besides, I don't want to ruin his life. People will surely oppose this kind of love. In the end, I don't want him to blame me why his life will be ruined just because of me. And I'm sure he will find the right person for him soon and that person wasn't me." Taehyung smiled.

"I will just continue my chores, bye." Alliyah sounded disappointed or something.

She left Taehyung's room while Taehyung sat down on the bed, biting his bottom lip.

If he ever falls in love with Jungkook, he will make sure to stop that feeling. He doesn't want to ruin someone's life just because of love. He's too old for Jungkook, no one will accept that kind of relationship. It will be a lose-lose for both of them.

He simply shooked his head trying to remove the negative vibes away from him.

"Don't think like that, Taehyung, let's just focus on our goals and that's it to earn money, okay?" Taehyung said to himself so he can at least cheer up his mood.

Right, he needs money, not love, he needs to provide for his mother's bill first before himself. That was the reason why he was in Jeon's mansion.

However, he didn't notice that Jungkook heard them all accidentally. He was just about to say something about their date but he didn't expect to hear Alliyah and Taehyung's conversation.

"It seems like I have no chance for you. Hah, I'm just a mere for your eyes." Jungkook muttered turning around to leave that's why Alliyah didn't see him in front of the door.

He tightened his grip on the bouquet of flowers that he was holding and that he was supposed to give to Taehyung but he doesn't have any reason to give it to him anyway.

"Jungkook-"

He ignored his mother who was in front of him and walked passed by her after throwing the bouquet of flowers in the trash can beside the door.

He really hates it when someone he likes treats him as a kid. That was an annoying feeling for him. And so, hearing it from Taehyung annoyed him so much that he wants to punch someone's face.
