Intro:
The once-ler sits in front of a dark and eerie forest, the wind blowing fiercely as the sound of twigs snapping can be heard in the background.
Once-ler: Hello, my name is the once-ler and I have a story to tell you. A story about a place I once lived in, a place where the beauty of nature was once abundant.
Scene 1:
Once-ler: I was a young man who lived in a forest filled with colorful creatures, trees as tall as the sky and rivers as crystal clear as glass. But I was greedy and I didn't understand the consequences of my actions.
Scene 2:
Once-ler: I started to cut down trees and built a factory to produce Thneeds, a product that was made from the trees. The animals tried to warn me, but I was blinded by my greed and I didn't listen.
Scene 3:
Once-ler: The Thneeds became a huge success, but soon the forest began to change. The animals started to leave, the sky turned grey, and the rivers became murky.
Scene 4:
The Lorax: And that's when I appeared. I am the Lorax, I speak for the trees. I tried to warn the once-ler, but he wouldn't listen.
Scene 5:
Once-ler: I realized too late that what I had done was a mistake, I had destroyed the beautiful forest, and I was left alone.
Outro:
The once-ler's story ends with the Lorax and the forest creatures appearing before him, they take him to his execution.
Lorax: This is the consequence of not protecting our ecosystem, we must all learn from the once-ler's mistake. The trees, the animals, and the rivers depend on us. Protect the environment, or suffer the same fate as the once-ler.
Voiceover: Don't let greed destroy the beauty of nature, protect our ecosystem and preserve it for future generations.
