The Next Day

Saumya is seen running around the mansion in horror and Anika is also running around scared. Although both of them are on different sides of the mansion, they are both scared of seeing the other in worry. However, due to the anger, they don't talk to each other and go towards the kitchen. Finally, both of them gain the courage to ask each other why they are so tense.

Anika/Saumya (worried) - Why are you so tensed?

Anika (worried) - You go first

Saumya (worried) - You see di...I saw the news... bade Bhaiya's business... is in a loss... and that bank is thinking of ... taking action towards bade bhaiya... they're thinking to seal the Oberoi mansion... until bhaiya pays for the loss...

Anika (worried) - I saw the news as well... I am tensed as well... even my Wedding planner business... isn't able to pay the debts... why did Shivay have to take so many debts? I tell you... he is the cause of the problem...

Saumya's mode from being worried turns into anger as soon as she hears Anika blaming Shivay. It's true that Shivay had betrayed her... it's true that she was angry with Shivay and it's true that she is supporting the guy that betrayed her against the girl that gave her love. She is only supporting the truth and the truth which is that ... her bade bhaiya is not at fault. She only separated herself from the family because she couldn't bear to hear any more taunts from her favourite sister. Every time she tried to stand up for Shivay, she got the same taunt.

Flashback

A few days after Gauri and Omkara's disappearance, the cooks in the Oberoi mansion went home for their yearly vacation and the family due to the tension forgot all about making the food.

Saumya(worried) - Di, calm down... why are you being so hyper? Shivay bhaiya and Rudra are making food for us...

Anika (annoyed) - I won't eat the food if Shivay has made it... in fact, none of my children will eat it...

Anika goes carrying Shivika in her arms and holding Ansh by her finger, but stops seeing Shivay staring at her.

Anika (annoyed) - Why are you here?

Shivay (annoyed) - This is my house... and I was cooking...

Anika (cold) - I don't want the food made by you... and neither do my children... who knows after my sister... and niece... I or my children might be the next target...

Saumya who saw that another argument might take place goes to calm them down.

Saumya (worried) - Di, it's ok...we will order food from a restaurant...

Anika (annoyed) - Who do you mean by we? The food can still be poised...

Shivay (annoyed) - Why would I try to poison my own wife and children?

Anika (cold) - If you can kill your brother ... then who am I? You killed my sister... you killed my niece...

Samuya tries to stop both of them from arguing but it's no point. Shivika is crying in Anika's arm seeing her parents fight while Ansh is also doing the same.

Saumya (angry) - ENOUGH!

Anika and Shivay turn their head towards Saumya who is looking at them with anger.

Saumya (annoyed) - Di... Shivay bhaiya wouldn't hurt you or your children... and Shivay bhaiya, please try to understand di's situation... you need to talk with her calmly don't argue back with her... and di, the children are crying...

Anika looks at both of her children crying and she leaves with them towards the room not before muttering.

Anika (annoyed) - Why is it that you always support him, Saumya? I am your sister...maybe, not by blood... but...still... maybe you are supporting him because he is your husband's brother...

Saumya wanted to tell her that Anika is wrong, she wants to support her as well. However, she couldn't as she knew it wasn't the right time.

Flashback ends

Rudra comes towards Saumya with a worried face and jerks her out of thoughts.

Rudra (worried) - Are you ok?

Saumya (smiling and wiping her tears) - I am fine

Shivika starts running towards Anika with an upset face but while running she bumps into someone, making her fall but thankfully the person catches her. The person makes Shivika stand up and then apologises.

Person (upset) - I am really sorry...

Shvika (annoyed) - You should be, who are you, anyway?

Person (smiling) - I am Shyam...

Shivika (annoyed) - Shyam, what?

Shyam (smiling) - Just Shyam, I don't need a last name... 

Shivika who is already annoyed with the news of the loss that she stomps to go towards her mother.

Shyam (shouting back) - Where can I meet Mr Shivay?

Shivika ignores his question and stares at her mom with anger.

Shivika (angry) - Is it true that we might have to leave the house?

Anika (upset) - Maybe Shvika...

Shyam comes following Shivika to the kitchen and sees Saumya working silently while Anika is busy with Shivika.

Shyam (smiling) - Excuse me, may I know where I can find Mr Shivay?

Shivika (annoyed) - Can't you see I am busy? And why do you need my father anyway?

Shyam (trying to be nice) - Actually I want to do an internship and I thou...

Shivika (annoyed) - My dad, doesn't need people without a surname in his business...

Shyam (annoyed) - I have been patient for a long time, Ms... I am looking for your father... and for your kind information, I already have gotten chosen by your father to do the internship, however... I wanted to check with him when I can start... and one more thing Ms... people without surnames are just as important as people with surnames... unlike you, I want to create my own identity in this world...

Anika (smiling) - You are reminding me of myself... I also wanted to create my own name.. My name is Anika...

Shyam forwards his hand to shake while Anika happily shakes it.

Saumya (worried) - he is in the study room, which is the second room on the left of this corridor (points at the corridor).

Shyam thanks Saumya and Anika and leaves the kitchen.

Shivika (annoyed) - Who cares about making own names? I don't believe in that... my name is everything to me... Shivika Singh Oberoi... or SSO... I am not willing for people to call me Shivika... people need to know that I am better than them...

Before Anika could answer her, Ansh starts clapping listening to Shivika.

Ansh (annoyed) - There are people that are better than you Shivika and you need to know that... those people that want to create their own name in this society... are way better than you... Also Shivika, this surname isn't going to help you any longer... as our house is going to be auctioned tomorrow....

Shivika/Anika/Saumya (shocked) - WHAT?

Rahul (upset) - Yes...Ansh is saying the truth Shivika... it's on the news... come watch it...

Rahul drags Shivika to the living room to watch the news, while both Saumya and Anika also go towards the living room. Saumya watches the news from her side while Anika from her side. Shvika is silently watching this.

Reporter - It seems like the Oberoi mansion is about to be sold off... according to xyz bank, Mr Shivay Singh Oberoi hasn't paid their monthly loan and therefore the bank has no choice but to take over the mansion.
