School Trip: Beach

The school bell echoed in the background as the crowd of teenage boys streamed out of the front entrance of Konaha Elite. The sun shone brightly above while some gathered in groups to talk; Others headed off to after school clubs.

Sasori gave a loud yawn as he walked into the sunlight, squinting his eyes in disdain as he did. Class had been a complete bore, and he was definitely not looking forward to tomorrow's class trip. This is stupid. The red head grumbled to himself as he strolled down the steps.

Suddenly a familiar voice cut through the air, causing the red head to jolt up in surprise."WHAaat! The beach?!" It screeched loudly.

"Stop shouting, you moron." Another icy voice spat back.

Sasori turned his head casually in the direction of the two voices. He immediately caught sight of two figures walking away from the school. Rin and Itachi. The puppet freak's eyes narrowed as he silently watched Itachi thump the shortie on his head before they disappeared out of the front entrance.

Sasori gave a frown, his mood getting worse by the second. When did they get so close. He wondered briefly to himself, as he felt a slight twinge of anger.

Suddenly the puppet freak froze as he realized what he had just said. He immediately shook the thought out, returning to an emotionless expression It doesn't concern me. He told himself as he turned towards the student parking a lot. It doesn't concern me at all.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Stop shouting, you moron."Itachi hissed between his teeth as he sent the kid a piercing glare. He quickly glanced around to make sure no others were watching them. Then the raven teen whipped around and began walking away faster.
"Sorry." Rin apologized in a whispered voice as she quickened her pace to catch up. As she did this, she let out a tired sigh at the information Itachi had told her. Out off all the places, it had to be the beach .
"Maybe I can just call in sick..." She mumbled to herself.
"That's not gonna work, idiot." Itachi retorted back, "Ibiki-Sensei is making this trip required. You don't attend, then you get expelled. Understand?"
This only caused Rin to groan even more. "Then what the hell am I suppose to do?" She whined as she suddenly grabbed Itachi's coat. "Ne, Itachi, help me out. Friend to friend."The shortie begged as she flashed a large set of puppy eyes.
Itachi froze in his spot, completely immobilized by the shortie's actions. He glanced at the small hands gripping his clock tightly and the pair of large sparkling eyes, and immediately felt a wave of discomfort cover him.
The feeling pissed him off.
A large scowl fell on his face as he shook his head clear. "Since when did I become you're friend." He grumbled as he flicked Rin's forehead hard.
The shortie recoiled back at the attack, muttering a curse as she gripped her forehead. "But then why are you walking with me, and telling me about the trip tomorrow, huh?" She countered.
"Don't mistake that for friendship." Itachi replied back quickly. " I was heading this way first." He added indignantly, then he turned away and marched off.
Rin just watched as the raven head teen disappeared down the road. She tilted her head in confusion at his words. If that isn't friendship, then what is it? She wondered
<The next day>
"Everyone on the bus" Ibiki-Sensei barked, as he watched the tired bunch begin to board the bus with their luggage. It was quite early in the morning, since the bus ride would take a couple of hours.
The teacher scowled with annoyance as he heard the groans from his student. When we get there, I'm gonna whip these maggots into shape. He vowed silently to himself.
Deidara practically leaped onto the bus, beaming with happiness as he did. Unlike many of the others, he was wide awake. The bomber excitedly scanned the rows for an empty seat; his blue eyes finally landing on a seat next to a certain black haired teen.
"Hey Rin!" Deidara greeted happily as he began walking over to the seat, "Can I sit he-"
But before the bomber could finish he felt a hand suddenly drag him down into another seat.
Rin glanced up in confusion at that moment. She looked around trying to find out who had called her name, but no one was around. Strange... The shortie thought to herself.
Deidara also looked around confused, scrambling back into a sitting position. Finally his eyes fell on the raven teen next to him.
"Yo" Itachi greeted casually as if he hadn't done anything wrong.
Deidara just scowled at this, "What the hell Itachi-un?" He asked as he began to stand up. "I was going to sit by Ri-"
The blond was cut off as Itachi's hand forced him back down in the seat again, and held him there. Deidara opened his mouth to complain again, "Stop doing that-un!" He shouted as he tried to stand up again, but Itachi wouldn't let him.
"Hey, let's have a competition right now." Itachi suddenly suggested, causing Deidara to pause for a moment. " Or are you afraid to lose to me again. Just like you do every time." The raven teen teased.
Deidara immediately tensed up at Itachi's challenge, turning his eyes to meet Itachi's. "What did you say?" The blond asked. "Since when the fuck have I ever been afraid of you huh!?" He argued, his eyes now enflamed
Idiot. Itachi thought in his mind as he stopped himself from rolling his eyes. But on the outside he remained calm. "Good." He replied with a slight smirk, " Then how about our first challenge is to see who can be the quietest on this bus trip."
"Easy-un!" Deidara immediately shouted back, completely caught up in the competition. Then the blond fell back in the seat and crossed his arms as if brooding over something.
Itachi turned his head away to stare out of the window. This moron is just too easy to manipulate. He thought to himself. Hopefully this distraction will keep him away from the shortie.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Sasori sighed as he boarded the bus. The only reason he had shown up was because he would be expelled if he didn't. The red head glanced around for a seat, as he felt the engine begin to start. Every seat was filled except one. His eye immediately fell on the black haired teen next to the empty seat.

Another sigh escaped the puppet freak's lips. Just great, he grumbled in his mind Is this karma or something?

Rin looked up curiously as she saw a person sit down next to her. Her eyes immediately widened, then twisted in disgust.

"Trust me, I don't want you be here either." Sasori retorted back as he calmly faced forward.

Out of all the people, it had to be the shortie. He thought to himself.

Rin gave a slight hmph before turning away as well. "Just stay on your side, Sasori."She replied as she scooted closer to the window. "And don't do anything weird." She added with narrowed eyes. She still felt a twinge of discomfort whenever she looked at Sasori.

"Whatever." Sasori replied back, as he noticed the shortie move away slightly. Tch, does he think I'm a pervert or something? He wondered, feeling slightly annoyed.

The two fell into silence as the bus pulled out of the school. Rin just continued to stare out the window, looking for anything to distract herself with.

-One hour later-

Don't do anything weird, huh? Sasori sarcastically thought to himself as he glanced right next to him. Well you're the one who fucking fell asleep on me!

The red head gave another annoyed sigh as he sat absolutely still in his seat. The shortie on the other hand had fallen asleep half way through the trip and was currently snoring loudly, his head propped against Sasori's shoulder.

But even though Sasori continued to act in a foul mood, he made no move to wake up Rin or move his head away. Instead the puppet freak just continued to stare forward, propping his own head on his hand

It's not being nice. He told himself over and over again. It's just that that shortie would be loud and annoying if I woke him up.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The sun was high in the sky by the time the bus arrived. The group of teens quickly filed out, ready to enjoy the beach, chatting loudly to each other as they did.
"Take that Itachi-un" Deidara shouted triumphantly as he leaped off the bus." I was quiet the entire trip!" He announced proudly.
"No one fucking care, you tranny." A voice called back.
The blond immediately whipped around at the comment. "Shut it Hidan!" He growled angrily. "Or I'll blow you up!"
"Well, I'll sacrifice you to Jashin." The grey haired teen shouted back.
"Both of you shut it now, or you'll be running laps for this entire trip!" Ibiki suddenly barked out. The crowd immediately fell silent as they watched the scar-faced teacher.
Ibiki cleared his throat as he made sure all eyes were on him. Then he gestured to the far side of the beach, where a forty foot cliff stood.
"30 laps from here to there." He ordered.
The class immediately bursted in complaints.
"What the hell?"
"That's so far!"
"Wasn't this suppose to be a fun trip?!"
Ibiki sent a cold gaze, silencing the crowd of complaining teens, "Even if we're not at school, I am still you're teacher, and you will listen to what I say." He spat out. "Now hurry up and do what I say or I'll make you do 50 laps!"
After Ibiki finished talking, one by one the class begrudging began to run to the cliff. The teacher smirked as he watched the teens struggle to run through the hot sand,
Fun trip? He scoffed to himself. I'll make this a living hell for all of you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The students groaned as they began their trek towards the cliff. On their right side was the sea and on their left was a heavily forested area. Among the trees of the forest, two figures stood peeking through the undergrowth.

"Which one is our target, huh? Huh? Which one?" One voice asked excitedly.

"Shut up." Another darker voice barked back, "You'll give us away, you idiot."

"Sorry" the first voice apologized, calming down a bit.

The second voice just gave an exasperated sigh as he threw a single picture at the first man.

The first man curiously picked up the photo. "Him?" He asked questioningly, "but he looked like a kid?!"

"Looks can be deceiving." The second voice replied gruffily as he loaded a gun. " Anyway, we're assigned to make it seem like suicide. Think you can do that?"

The first man flashed a wicked grin, his straight white teeth shining brightly in the shadows as he playfully threw the photo in the air.

"Definitely." He replied as he lifted his own gun and pulled the trigger. The bullet silently went off, slicing straight through the photo, and causing it to dance wildly as it floated to the ground.

The second man glanced at the photo, a clean hole torn straight through the face on it. He smiled as well at this. "Good".

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rin collapsed on the sand, her head facing up as she breathed heavily. The bindings wrapped around her chest were making it extremely difficult to catch her breath . Her t-shirt was completely drenched in sweat and her hair stuck together in sticky clumps. Even with all her previous training, 30 laps in the burning heat had nearly drained all of her energy.
Ibiki-sensei is completely mental. The shortie thought to herself.
It was close to noon by now, and many of the teens were still doing laps; others had been taken back to the hotel due to heat stroke. Rin took in another deep breath as she placed a slightly sun-burned arm over her eyes to shade them from the sun-rays.
Suddenly she felt a coolness wash over her, and the feeling of shifting sand as someone sat down next to her.
The shortie curiously lifted her arm to find a sun umbrella above her, blocking the rays from most of her body. She turned her head to find Deidara sitting there, completely drenched in sweat but still grinning.
"Here-un" he said as he handed out an object. Rin glanced down to find a water bottle in his hands. The black haired teen immediately jolted up, snatching the bottle and graciously gulping the cold liquid down. She took a deep breath, letting out a sigh as she felt her energy slowly returning.
"Thank you Deidara." The shortie said as she handed the bottle back.
Deidara was about to reply, but at that moment, a figure threw him out onto the sand. The blond landed ungracefully in the hot sand, his face buried in the ground.
"So annoying " Sasori murmured to himself as he crawled under the shade of the umbrella.
Deidara immediately sprang up, spitting out hot sand as he whipped around. "Sasori! What the hell was that for!?" The blond asked angrily.
Sasori just stared back at him, emotionless. " I hate the sun," he replied simply. "And it's your fault for suggesting we go to the beach."
"But, That's my umbrella-un!"
"So?"
The two fell silent as they sent death glares at each other. Finally Deidara looked away.
Sasori smirked at this, "What? Did I scare you?" He asked innocently.
"No way!" Deidara angrily shouted back, "Just staring at your face is making me sick." He muttered under his breath. Then the bomber turned to shortie. "Come on, Rin." He said extending his hand out. "Let's ditch the puppet freak and go swimming."
Rin froze for a second as she realized what the blond was saying . "Oh...sorry...I'll have to pass, Deidara." She said as casually as she could. "I don't really like the sun either." She added as she sat back further in the shade.
Deidara raised an eyebrow at this, "Really-un?" He asked as he rubbed the back of his head and looked at the sea. " I'm sure you'd feel better in the water." He argued as he grabbed Rin's hand. "Come on."
Rin began freaking out even more on the inside. She pulled back, refusing to budge. "Really, Deidara, it's fine." She replied back.
Deidara was about to say something else, but at that moment a sandal flew out of nowhere and slammed straight into the bomber's head.
*BAM*
The blond landed face first in the sand again.
"Oi Tranny!" Hidan's voice boomed out from a few meters away, "Get the fuck over here! Itachi just bet twenty bucks that I can beat you in a race!" The grey haired teen screamed.
Deidara was up in seconds, his eyes burning with flames, "HIDANNN!" He screamed, "I'm gonna kill you." Then he ran towards the jashinist who had leaped into the sea.
Rin let out a sigh of relief as she watched the two teens swim farther away. That was too close.
"They're both idiots." She heard Sasori mumble to himself as he also watched the two disappear.
Then he turned towards to the shortie next to him. "Why aren't you going too?" He asked calmly.
Rin lifted an eyebrow in confusion. "What?" She asked.
Sasori just motioned to the sea. " Swimming. I don't believe it's the sun, so what's your real reason?" He asked.
Rin just sat up straighter, "It's nothing really." She replied.
"Oh really?" Sasori asked, unconvinced. Rin couldn't even react before she felt herself suddenly being lifted up. She looked up to find a certain red head flashing a sadistic grin. "How about I throw you in the sea right now then?" He asked.
"Put me down! Sasori!" The shortie screamed angrily as she tried to squirm free.
Sasori just rolled his eyes as he began walking towards the sea. "Then tell me the real reason."
Rin's eyes widened as she saw the water getting closer. Shit, if I get wet, it's over, he'll see the chest bindings. She cursed to herself. But no matter how hard she squirmed, Sasori just continued walking forward.
They were mere feet away from the sea when the shortie finally thought up an excuse.
"I can't swim!" She suddenly shouted.
Sasori immediately froze as a silence filled the air.
Then the red head dropped the shortie on the sand as he tried to suppress a laugh. "Wait...You can't swim!?" He asked with disbelief. "That's the stupidest reason ever. What kind of an idiot doesn't know how to swim?!"
Rin immediately shot up, scowling as she patted the sand off her pants. Even though the reason was a lie, Sasori's comments were still pissing her off. "Yeah, so?!" She challenged back.
"Nothing, just that it's kind of sad that you don't know how to swim." He replied as he crossed his arms as he thought about it, "Actually it's really sad.
"It's not like I need to know!" Rin argued back as she tried to find a way to express her annoyance. "Just..just..Go fricking bald Sasori!" She angrily shouted before turning and storming off. She didn't even care where she was going.
Sasori just watched silently as the shortie stormed away, suppressing another laugh inside of him.
Go bald huh? The red head thought. It's been a while since you said that to me...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Rin kicked a stone hard along the beach as she walked by herself. The sun was now low in the sky, lighting the beach up with its evening rays. Rin could her the distant shouts of teenagers as they played in the ocean, but she didn't feel like turning around to see.

Stupid Sasori. She grumbled in her mind as she kicked the stone harder. It flew a couple of feet before hitting a solid stone wall and bouncing back.

Rin looked up to find herself at the base of the cliff that Ibiki had order them to jog to that morning. The shortie squinted her eyes as she gazed up at the towering rock.

At that moment, a voice called out, piercing through the calm silence. "Help! Somebody help!"It shouted desperately. Rin's ears perked up as she looked around for the source of the noise, but no one was in sight.

"Who's there?" She asked loudly as she continued to search around. "Where are you?!"

"Up here!" The voice screamed back, "Please help me." It begged, " I can't hold on much longer."

Rin took a step back as she stared upward at the cliff. She covered the top of her eyes to block the sunlight and scanned the top of the cliff. Finally, the shortie spotted a young teen, on the top of the cliff. Half his body was dangling over the rocky edge as he scrambled to grip the rock.

Rin's eyes widened in surprise. "Hold on! I'm coming!" She shouted as she immediately sprang into action and began to climb the steep cliff. Her heels dug into the lose rock, as she sped up the side, sending small pebbles flying to the ground.

"I'm trying my best." The voice from above strained to say. "I don't know...how much longer...I can last."

By then, Rin was halfway up the cliff. Breathing heavily, she forced her legs to go faster. Her hands stung slightly as she dug them into the rocks for a good hand hold. Don't think about it. The shortie told herself as she gritted her teeth to ignore the pain. Almost there. She gave one final push to reach the top of the cliff, practically dragging herself up on the ledge.

From there it was easier to see the teenage boy on the other side of the ledge, hanging on from dear life. He looked around her age, slick black hair covering most of his pale face; his finger nails bloody as they dug into the rock. Rin scrambled over to him, quickly grabbing one of his hands into her.

The teen moved his head upward as he noticed the shortie, and gripped her hand tightly as she strained to pull him up. After a few minutes of struggling Rin was able to pull the teen up onto the ledge. She placed her hands on her knees as she tried to catch her breath.

The boy next to her was shivering as he sat there staring at the ground. "Thank... you." He finally managed to say between heavy breaths.

"No...problem," Rin replied, as she plopped down on the ground to catch her own breath. She stared up at the sky while trying to calm her own racing heart."By the way... How did you...get into that position?" She asked curiously.

The boy sat up straighter as he turned towards Rin, but his hands continued to shake uncontrollably by his sides. "A man wearing a black mask....did it." He replied solemnly as he gave a slight gulp. "I-I came here to watch the sunset and he attacked me...almost threw me over the edge, and then left me there to hang. I thought I was a goner for sure." He added quietly.

As the boy spoke, the shortie got up and cautiously walked towards the ledge.

She stopped a good foot away, peeking over to see the rough sea raging below. She also noticed rocks jutting out from the deep sea. The shortie help in a shiver. If anyone fell, they would either drown or be impaled.

"Why would someone do such a thing?" She wondered a loud as she took a step back from the edge.

"It's because.... I'm the bait." The teen's voice replied.

The shortie froze at the strange comment, immediately sensing something wrong. She whipped around to find the teenage boy no longer shivering, but instead sitting there calmly.

A wide, almost insane grin now covered his pale face.

"And you fell right into the trap."

From a distance a teen in a black mask smirked as he aimed and then pulled the trigger. The dart silently whizzed through the air and embedded itself into the shoulder of the target.

Rin couldn't even move out of the way, completely caught off guard at the sudden attack. She felt an object slam into her right shoulder, sending sparks of pain through her entire arm, but it didn't feel like a gun wound; there was no blood.

The shortie looked down at her injury to find a small injection dart embedded in the skin. She tried to move her injured shoulder, but it had gone completely limp.

"It's no use." The black haired boy chuckled with amusement as he walked closer to the struggling shortie; all former fear gone from his voice. "That bullet that my partner shot at you contains a highly effective drug. It temporarily sends the brain into a state of shock, so for now you wasn't be able to do much."

By now the boy was standing right in front of the shortie, he was a couple of inched taller, but he leaned down so they were eye level. " If the fall doesn't kill you, the water will." He added with a sickening grin. "And you will become the poor Mafia Heir who couldn't take the pressure and jumped to his death."

Then Rin could only watch in shock as the boy lightly pushed her, just a simple tap. She fell back with no resistance. Inside she was struggling to fight the drug, screaming at her body to move, bug on the outside nothing worked. The wind whipped around her as the boy on top of the cliff grew smaller and smaller. Then her back slammed into the waves below as the water engulfed her.

<Twenty Minutes Before>

Deidara plopped down in the sand with a loud sigh. He could already feel the slight tinge of pain from sun burn on his skin. As the bomber glanced at his reddish skin, a movement in the corner of his eye caught his attention. He turned to find Sasori still sitting there under his umbrella, now wearing a long-sleeved jacket over his swim shorts.

"What the hell are you doing-un?" Deidara asked questioningly.

Sasori just turned his head towards the blond. "I told you I hate the sun," he replied with no emotion.

"Tch. " Deidara murmured to himself, "People are gonna think your a vampire if you keep doing that." Then he raised his voice a bit, " By the way, where's Rin?" He asked curiously.

Sasori just shrugged, "Don't know." He replied, "He stormed off quite a while ago." The red head looked around as he said this, trying to spot the currently missing black haired teen. That kid probably got lost. He thought in his mind.

Deidara watched as Sasori slowly got up from under the umbrella, "I'm gonna go look for him." The puppet freak said as he began walking down the beach.

The blond was immediately up as well, running to catch up to Sasori. "Wait, Sasori, I'll go too-un." He said quickly.

Sasori just sighed, "Whatever." He replied as he began heading in the direction Rin had stormed off towards.

The two teens walked for a good fifteen minutes down the now empty beach. Sasori scanned the trees while Deidara kept his eye on the sea. Deidara let out a sigh. "Nothing here-un, " the blonde said, "Maybe we should check back at the hotel?"

Sasori just shook his head. He was certain the shortie had gone down this path, and the hotel was in the complete opposite direction. He quickly looked around, scanning the entire area. Suddenly a movement from above caught his eye.

"Up there." The red head said as he pointed on top of the cliff in the distance. Deidara squinted his eyes as he tried to see what Sasori had pointed out. He was finally able to make out a small black haired figure, standing near the edge of the cliff, among the rocks.

"Hey, What is that kid doing?" The blond murmured.

His eyes widened as he saw the shortie sway precariously as if drunk. Then he saw another figure appear in front to the shortie; he leaned down and spoke a couple of words before lightly pushing the black haired teen back.

Deidara watched in horror as the shortie stumbled backwards, his feet slipping as he went over the edge, and then he fell.

"What the Hell!!?"Deidara began to shout.

In a blink of an eye Sasori raced past the bomber and jumped into the ocean. The cold water engulfed him sending sparks through his mind as he swam quickly towards the base of the cliff. The red head resurfaced to get some air as he scanned the surface for any sign of the shortie. The waves pummeled him as they crashed into the crags of the cliff and the currents threw him around wildly.

The red head took another deep breath before diving down and checking under the water. Rin you idiot. He thought to himself as he desperately tried looking for the shortie. Finally his eyes spotted a figure floating down into the depths of the water. He forced his legs to go faster as he swam after the figure. Don't you dare die, you idiot.

Back on shore Deidara stood there in shock for a moment as he realized what he had just seen. The shortie had fallen...no someone had pushed him. The blond's eyes immediately harder as he took off for the cliff. That bastard. The bomber thought. I'm gonna kill whoever that is.

Deidara practically leaped up the side of the cliff, but when he reached the top the ledge was completely empty. Not a single sign of life remained there. That's impossible. The blond thought as he searched around wildly. I swear someone was here.

As he looked around he saw Sasori resurface among the waves, holding a limp Rin on his back. Well at least they're alright. The bomber thought as he began his descent back down.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sasori dragged Rin onto the sand and set the kid face up on the ground. He watched the shortie lay there completely still, his face a sickly pale color. Dammit. Sasori cursed as he began to unbutton the shortie's drenched shirt.
The red head suddenly froze stopping at the second button. What the...bandages? he thought in his head unable to comprehend what he had seen.
"Oi Sasori!" Deidara suddenly called as he ran up towards the two. Sasori immediately snapped back into reality, whipping off his jacket and covering the shortie with it. Just as he did that, Deidara reached them, breathing heavily as kneeled down on the other side of the shortie.
The blond placed his head on Rin's chest and let out a curse. " He's not breathing." He said as he tilted the unconscious shortie's head back and began to lean down. The bomber suddenly froze in his tracks as he realized what he was about to do. He stared at Rin's pale lips and gave a loud gulp, unsure for a second.
Sasori watched with annoyance at Deidara's hesitation. "Move." He finally said as he pushed the blond out of the way.
"Oh...okay." Deidara murmured without resistance as he watched Sasori pinch the bridge of the shortie's nose and then give him two large breaths. Then the red head moved his hands to his chest and gave thirty chest compression.
"Come on, Rin." Sasori murmured as he pumped harder.
But the shortie didn't respond at all. Sasori cursed in his mind again before repeating the cycle.
Finally on the second try he felt a movement as water gushed out of Rin's mouth. The black haired teen shot up, coughing hard as her airways cleared of water. Rin weakly opened her eyes to find Deidara and Sasori staring back at her.
"Are you alright?" Sasori asked quickly.
He watched Rin just gave a grateful nod before closing his eyes again. In his mind, Sasori let out a sigh of relief. He immediately stood, placing the shortie on his back And then turned over to Deidara. "Go tell Ibiki-Sensei what happened." He ordered. "I'm taking Rin to the infirmary."
Deidara nodded as he watched Sasori jog back down the beach. Then the blond carefully stood up as well. He stared at his hands for a moment in silence as he recollected on what had just occurred. A frown came to the blond's face. I could have saved him...He thought to himself. Why didn't I?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Rin cracked open an eye and found herself looking up at a brightly lit ceiling. Her eyebrow furrowed as she tried to remember what had happened.

"So your finally awake" A voice asked. The shortie turned towards the sound to find blonde haired lady casually sitting in a rolling chair wearing a white doctor's coat . Rin tried to sit up, but a jolt of pain shot through her right arm when she placed weight on it.

The blond lady just sighed, " Your arm was injured when you fell." She explained. "Luckily you didn't land on a rock or you would have died. Seriously? jumping off a cliff? Are you trying to die?" She asked with a look of disgust.

Rin just remained silent, unable to find a response.

The blonde doctor, let out another sigh at the lack of response before turning away. "Just rest for now." She said before walking out of the room. "I'll let your friend know that you're alright."

Rin fell back in the bed as the doctor left, closing her eyes as she tried to remember what had happened. Fragments of memories crossed her mind. Helping a guy. Getting shot. Falling... The dark water inviting her in. And then....A hand reaching out. The shortie tried to think hard about anything after that, but her mind was blank. Finally the thinking wore her out and she fell into a dreamless sleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sasori sat outside of the infirmary, crouched over, his head resting in his hands. Your friend's alright. The doctor's voice echoed in his mind. Inside he was glad that Rin was fine...but other things were currently bothering him.
"That kid" Sasori murmured to himself, slightly angry at how much of an idiot he felt like.
The memories flooded into the puppet freaks head: The first day of school;how he looked so feminine...Tutoring that kid... Litchi gummy..."Go bald Sasori" ......The beach....
The red head let out a pent up sigh as he pieced all the clues together. He couldn't believe he hadn't seen it sooner.
So that was your real reason...huh Rin?
Yeshhhh! Updated!
And I'm ending it here, because I literally took two days to figure out how to write this, and I just checked and it is ten fricking pages. Omg...I have never written that much for a chapter ever >_>
Hopefully it made sense. And for those who didn't get it, by the mystical powers of fan fiction and trolling, Sasori found out the secret, but Deidara didn't :P
And at first this was going to be a Kawaii fluffy fluff chapter but then. It turned darker. Oh well, next chapter I'll try to put in a bunch of fluff :P
But comment on what you guys thought.
Who were those two assassins?
What do you think will happen next?
Oh, and an Extra note: Thank you so fricking much everyone who went to vote on the animewattyawards thing. You guys are the best!! :D
That's all.
