Seven years later:

"Wave!" Mum said. She motioned for me come. I was very fast, even though I was only 7. "We are going to the park across the street at the end of the Amity fields and houses. You can meet Hannah there." She picked me up and carried me past the many trees and gardens in Amity.

We reached our destination. Hannah was there.

"Hi Hannah," I said smiling. Hannah was my best friend ever. We hung out all the time and had so much in common. Like we both love flowers, and we both love going to the park. Plus, both of her mums love my parents, and they hang out while we play. Hannah and I made our way to the swings, and started talking.

"So, do you want to see a trick?" Hannah asked me. I nodded. She crossed her eyes, both of them looking at her nose.

"Awsome!" I said, "Do you want to see a trick?" Her eyes lit up as she nodded this time. I stood up and climbed a tree at lighting speed. I had been working on this trick for ages. I jumped off the branch and landed on my feet. I was so happy. Hannah started clapping and I blushed.

"It's not like I could do your trick!" I tried to cross my eyes and we laughed our hearts out.

"Promise, no matter what faction we go into we will always be best friends?" She stated.

"I promise."

"Even when you run off with all your Dauntless friends?" She joked. I chuckled.

"I am sticking with you. No matter what," I responded smiling. We hugged till someone walked right next to us, outside of Amity grounds. She looked familiar, even though I could not remember where from. She had dirty blond hair and blue eyes. She looked 4 or 5 years older than me. I decided to say hi, for I thought most people are friendly, but she just looked at me. For some reason, I couldn't stand seeing her sad, and frowned.

"Lily," What was I thinking? How did I know her name? I thought she was going to walk away, because there is no way I got her name right. But to my surprise, She looked up.

"How do you know my name?" Her voice was high, and it cracked as she shook. I could not comprehend this.

"I don't know."

"What? Wave, I have never seen her in my life, how do you know her name is Lily?" Hannah said. I shrugged. Lily laughed slightly. I looked confused. So did Hannah. She saw this and explained.

"Your facial expressions, they look like my brother's."

"Where is your brother?" Hannah asked bluntly. Lily's face sank and I elbowed Hannah.

"He died, seven years back," Wait. This was weird. I know this girl who I have never met, feel a sort of strange connection to her, and her brother died seven years ago. This was unbelievable.

"We are both seven," I said. She didn't look all that shocked. "What day, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Um, July 12th I think," I screamed. That was my birthday.  This was too much.

"That's her birthday!" Hannah answered for me. She looked freaked out too. My mom rushed to me and carried me to the doctor's office. I did not say a word the whole time.
