"You did amazing." A voice said behind Shiro. Shiro turned around to see Curtis, dressed in a nice white button up shirt, he was holding his orange cadet jacket over his shoulder.
"Thank you." Shiro smiled as he stood up. "If it wasn't for Hunk's cooking I'm not sure i would of came through to them." He chuckled. "You ready to go? We got a bit of time before I have to be back for dinner."
"Yes I'm ready. I got all the stuff." He held up a basket. "The statue looks amazing by the way. Saw it on my way here."
"It really does, Lance did a wonderful job of designing it. He seems a bit happier now that he gets to tell Allura's story to the Children who are coming to visit today."
"And Keith?" Curtis questioned as he intertwined his fingers with Shiro. "How is he holding up?"
"He told me about his time with the Galra. How they all wanted him to be the leader. He was actually going to accept the job, since Voltron is no longer needed. He was going to the the Galra leader, that was until I told him about Lance. Now he is rushing back here, giving up that big opportunity, and I don't know why. I get that he still likes Lance, but, I'm not sure Lance likes him back. I just worry about Keith, I don't want him to get hurt over this."
"I understand. He is like a brother to you." Curtis said as they walked to Shiro's flyer. "And every time you tell me things about them, you start to get me worried too. But I promise everything will be alright." Curtis told him and kissed his forehead before handing him a helmet. "Now let's get going, we gotta have you back in time for dinner." He smiled as he got on.
"Hey, that's my spot. No way am I letting you drive this thing." Shiro said. "Move aside."
Curtis chuckled. "Fine." He scooted back so Shiro could get on to drive, he hung on around his chest as they drove off quickly into the mountains of Altea.
They arrived at the spot Shiro had found a while ago, they set up a blanket and started a fire before relaxing by each other, having a blanket around them as they sipped at hot coco.
"You make good hot chocolate." Shiro commented.
"Well certainly better then you. You can't cook to save your life." Curtis teased, his arm around Shiro's back as they cuddled a tiny bit.
"Yeah yeah I know, I suck." Shiro laughed. "That's why I picked the spot and you made the treats."
"You did pick a good spot. This view is beautiful despite it being freezing." Curtis said.
"Sorry, didn't know there would be snow here now." Shiro said. "But good thing you bright a blanket, and your nice warm body."
Curtis gasped dramatically. "Shiro! Are you stealing my body heat?"
"Maybe..." Shiro said softly as he cuddled closer.
"How dare you!" Curtis laughed. "You must repay me in kisses." He ordered.
"Mmmm... kiss you? Wouldn't think of it." Shiro teased before leaning his head up to meet his lips. They kissed sweetly before a gush of cold wind ruined the moment.
Curtis sighed. "It's getting late, you gotta get back for dinner right?"
"Yeah. Gotta meet with the team. This might be the last time I see them all." Shiro sighed. "I don't want to even think about not having them in my life anymore. But Lance is going back to his parents, Pidge is working with her family on technology stuff, Hunk is traveling the galaxy fulfilling his dream, and Keith.... well frankly I have no clue what Keith is doing, but I hope he ends up alright. I guess it's just hard cause everyone is going in their own direction. Makes me sad to see that Voltron is coming to an end."
"Just because you guys are going your separate ways doesn't mean Voltron has to end. You guys should make a commitment, each year or something meet back up, to catch up, and stay friend, stay in contact. Just because Voltron is ending doesn't mean you all have to stop being friends." Curtis tilted Shiro's head up and cupped his cheeks. "And... If I'm not mistaken, aren't we going in our own direction as well?"
"Yeah. Suppose we are too." Shiro smiled as he looked up into Curtis's eyes. "Thank you Curtis, for everything."
"No need to thank me Captain." Curtis said.
"I told you, just call me Shiro." Shiro laughed and leaned into kiss him softly.
"Let's get you back." Curtis said as he stood up, holding his hand out for Shiro, who accepted his help up. The two quickly cleaned up before rushing back to the castle where Shiro would have dinner with the rest of the Paladins.

"Hey sharpshooter." Keith said as he approached Lance, who was admiring Allura's statue.
"Hey man..." Lance said softly. "You are early. What you didn't have special Galra business to attend to?"
"No... I just wanted to come talk to you." Keith said. "I'm sorry, about how we left things. I shouldn't of yelled at you like that. I just didn't want to see you throw away everything."
"Everything is already thrown away Keith. Allura was my everything and now she is gone and I am left with nothing, just this big empty hole inside of me." Lance told him. "I just want to be alone, I don't want to live in a reality where she isn't here."
"I saw you talking to those kids. All those things you said about Allura were so amazing." Keith told him. "Maybe that's what you should be doing, spreading Allura's message across the galaxy so all can know of her sacrifice like you do."
"I don't know. I would rather just stay at home with my family." Lance said. "We planted some juniberry flowers back at home, to try and grow some more."
"I bet they will turn out beautiful. You guys grow a lot of your own food right?" Keith questioned.
"Yeah, more then we can handle." Lance chuckled. "So much of it goes to waste...."
"Well. I've been thinking a lot lately." Keith said. "And since Voltron isn't needed much anymore, I was going to start a humanitarian aid service for the galaxy."
"What really? That sounds like an amazing idea Keith." Lance smiled as he looked over at him.
"Yeah, I mean, I didn't have a lot growing up, and it was the kindness of others like Shiro and Adam who really helped me along." Keith said. "Thought I could maybe give back to the galaxy. All I need is donors."
"Well, I can talk to my folks, but I'm sure we can puke be able to donate some of our extra food." Lance told Keith.
"You would really do that?" Keith smiled.
"Yeah totally. You will do amazing things with it Keith. You will have to tell me about the planets you visit."
"Why don't you join us?" Keith questioned.
"I can't being myself to do that." Lance told him. "It hurts too much to even look up at the sky."
"I'm sorry..." Keith said and looked up at the statue. "You did a wonderful job. She looks amazing."
"Thank you." Lance said. "I'm sorry, we should start over a bit. Things were kinda touch last time we were together. Want to forget about it, and go back to being a good team?" Lance turned to look at Keith.
Keith smiled. "Yeah that sounds nice. And thank you Lance, for always supporting me. You know what. I am going to bring you back something from every planet I visit, so you can know your donations are going to a good cause."
"That would be lovely." Lance smiled back. "Come on, we should go help set up dinner. Pidge just arrived, and Shiro should be back from his date any moment, and I bet Coran needs help."
"Yeah, Shiro won't stop talking to me about Curtis." Keith laughed. "I think they will be together for a long time."
"Think they will get married?" Lance questioned as they walked back to the castle together.
"Not likely. I don't think Shiro has it in him to settle down." Keith laughed. "But it think they will make each other very happy, at least when they can see each other through all this diplomacy stuff."
"Really? I can picture them getting married." Lance said.
"You can picture a lot of things Lance." Keith laughed.
"Hey, I think I can see the future, I see a lot of things in your future, Galra leader." Lance objected.
"Yeah, not sure that's happening." Keith said.
"Come on, nobody else is more qualified then you are." Lance argued.
"Not happening. Face it, you can't see the future." Keith said.
"Your just jealous of my abilities." Lance said.
"Sure. The only thing I'm jealous of is that sword of yours." Keith said as they entered the castle.
"Well then, I shall hold that for as long as I can, just to annoy you." Lance teased. "Come on, let's go help with dinner." He said before walked into the kitchen to find Coran.
Keith sighed as he watched him walk ahead of him. If only he could see the future... he would hope his would be filled with Lance. He smiled and followed Lance into the kitchen to help out and be with him.

Thanks so much for reading. Sorry that was a long chapter, but I hoped you liked it. :) Anyways, sorry there isn't a lot of Hunk or Pidge in this, I tried to write their stuff but it just turned out awful. But what I imagine is Hunk defiantly is dating Shay, so that's happening.
I am planning some Pidge stuff later, but that is a super secret surprise!
Thanks for reading!!
Please share with all your friends!
