Chapter 26

His pact with the other two personalities is simple: Every week for one day, he completely gives control of his body to Take and Michi, with the condition that they do not disrupt his life or harm anyone around him.

If they behave well and when necessary, he will increase their time. Both understand that if Takemichi doesn't willingly give up control, it will be difficult for them to take over the body, so they don't lose out in this deal.

Communicating with the two kids in his subconscious is very hard, so Takemichi needs a doctor's help. It will likely take a long time before they stop resisting him, and he can train to enter his subconscious on his own. For now, he communicates with them through a journal. He even buys a board to write reminders in his room.

Saying they won't disrupt his life? Only a fool would believe that. The two little devils inside him are real troublemakers. Just three days after seeing the doctor, he "gives up control" for the first time. Takemichi takes back his body that evening, and when he looks at the journal, he sees a bunch of words, and from the insulting tone of calling him "idiot," he knows it's Michi.

The kid criticizes everything, saying his room is boring and messy, mocking Takemichi's clothes for being awful, and demanding he buys separate personal items because he refuses to share and thinks everything Takemichi owns is ugly. Michi even forces him to buy skincare products. He also insults Takemichi's friends, calling them idiots.

Takemichi is furious. This guy is a handful - difficult, demanding, and sassy. But that's not all. When he goes downstairs to eat, he notices his mom doesn't set a plate for him and looks angry.

"Why are you down here? Didn't you say this morning that my food was terrible? From now on, cook and eat for yourself."

Takemichi is shocked and extremely confused. He wonders why the kid returned control of his body so quickly. Oh no, Michi messed with the worst possible person. Is Takemichi doomed?

"Mom, no, I was joking this morning! Mom, please!"

That night, Takemichi indeed had to skip dinner. He rushes to write in his journal and on the reminder board: "To live peacefully in this house, mom is absolute, mom's cooking is the best, never argue with mom."

The next morning at school is even worse. He has no idea what Michi did yesterday, but the girls give him weird looks, and his friends are mad at him and don't talk to him. He has to ask Kazutora, who knows about his struggle, for help.

"Hm, how to put it... that personality of yours..."

Kazutora looks hesitant, then suddenly asks, "Have you seen your girlfriend yet?"

"Huh? No, why?"

"Well, when you see her, be prepared."

After hearing that, Takemichi thinks he might as well head to heaven now. Yesterday, Takemichi walked into school with an aura that shone like a Shoujo protagonist, exuding a strange allure. The girls, who usually think Takemichi was average-looking or at most cute, were stunned. Every gesture, movement, or smirk looked incredibly charming. Some girls approached him to chat, and Takemichi playfully teased them until their faces turned red, completely ignoring Hinata, who was staring at him in a daze. But when he turned to the boys, he acted disdainfully. His friends were talking, and "he" dismissed them, calling their conversation stupid. Yesterday, Takemichi became a prince to the girls and an enemy to the boys.

Takemichi feels devastated, Michi's behavior is truly awful. Kazutora smiles, pats his shoulder, and comforts him, "It's okay, Takemichi. You just need to explain and apologize to them."

"I hope they'll listen,."

Takemichi says in a gloomy voice, looking dejected. Kazutora laughs and hugs him, patting his back.

"It's okay, it's okay. After school, what do you want to eat? I'll buy it for you."

His eyes show a strange glint. As long as I listen to you, Takemichi, it's fine. Those others don't need to.

Takemichi then works hard to ask for forgiveness. His friends easily forgive him, and Hinata doesn't give him too much trouble, though she looks sad. Lately, her boyfriend has been injured often, spending less time with her, and showing strange behavior. It seems like he's hiding something from her. Takemichi feels guilty but can only hold her hand and comfort her.

"I'm sorry, Hina-chan. When things settle down, I'll tell you everything, okay?"

Looking at his sincere eyes, she nods slightly and accepts it. After school, Takemichi and Kazutora go to Chifuyu and Baji's school, because his post-hospital plan is to hang out with the three of them. He also complains about his other personality.

"Good thing it's just two of them. If it were three or four, I'd be dead tired by now."

"That guy from the last fight... If he'd shown up, it would've been more trouble," Chifuyu says.

"That's Take. His eyes are always filled with murderous intent, like he wants to kill someone."

"Speaking of which, can you control him? Otherwise, he might end up beating Kazutora again."

Seeing Kazutora's body still bearing the marks from Take's violence, Takemichi thinks he should write a reminder in his journal about the brutal one inside him. If Take shows up, he'll probably just tell Kazutora to steer clear.

"Takemichi, are you really okay living like this?"

Baji asks, looking concerned. Takemichi smiles awkwardly. He's not sure if he's okay or not. It feels both new and chaotic, but with so much on his mind right now, it's hard to manage.

Takemichi begins the process of understanding the two kids inside him, and he goes back to the hospital room to ask the doctor for help. They don't cooperate at all; their attitude is very hostile. Takemichi doesn't have enough money for many doctor visits, and it feels like a waste of both time and money. The doctor says this is normal, as personalities usually start off uncooperative and hostile toward the original personality, especially when they want to control the body. So, after the first week, Takemichi gains nothing but trouble caused by Michi.

He writes a paper with questions about their favorite food, movies, activities, and places, hoping that by the next morning, they would answer. But no, all he finds is a big page with the word "idiot" on it. As for what they actually did, he has no idea.

Takemichi patiently keeps a positive attitude. When Michi asks for his own personal items, Takemichi buys separate things for both of them, relying on his instincts to choose what they might like. He guesses that Take prefers darker colors and Michi likes brighter ones. He reorganizes the bathroom with three toothbrushes, three face towels, and three bath towels. He tidies up his room to make Michi complain less and buys him face mask, as he can't afford any more skincare products.

Takemichi makes many notes about his life to ensure that these two don't cause chaos and to help them fit in more easily. He puts in a lot of effort and doesn't feel any resentment or hostility toward the people inside him. Instead, he treats them like friends, hoping to reduce their hostility.

After the previous battle, everyone in Touman starts to realize that a dangerous figure, Kisaki, is eyeing their gang. Kazutora warns everyone that Kisaki is the one who approached him and convinced him to join Valhalla to fight against Touman. Kisaki's movements are unpredictable, and he is ruthless, with Hanma and many followers by his side, so Touman needs to stay on guard.

Takemichi sincerely thanks Kazutora. Even though Kazutora is no longer an official member of Touman, he still contributes to the gang. His relationship with Mikey is also not too bad. Baji is happy about this and often pats Takemichi's head to thank him.

During this time, Takemichi starts getting more involved with gang activities again and realizes that his reputation among delinquents has risen after the battle with Valhalla. He also notices a shift in the atmosphere within the gang. It seems that people in the gang are now more cautious around him. Normally, they would joke and curse with him, but now these delinquents speak to him carefully and respectfully. Takemichi remembers when he was the captain of the First Division in the past, they didn't even show him this much respect.

What Takemichi doesn't know is that whenever he talks to these people, Baji and Chifuyu are standing behind him, watching them with threatening eyes. If they make one wrong move, they're done for. But when Takemichi turns to look at them, both Baji and Chifuyu smile at him, looking at him with soft, gentle eyes, making the others question whether these are the same people.

This is a double standard! Even the other core members are the same. Touman continues to protect him silently.

During the fight with Valhalla, he slashes his gang uniform and plans to ask Mitsuya to fix it. However, Mitsuya offers to make him a new one. So, Takemichi goes to Mitsuya's school and visits his club. Peyan leads him inside, talking nonstop about how special it is that Mitsuya is making a new gang uniform for Takemichi. Aside from the founding members, Takemichi is the first one Mitsuya has personally made one for. Takemichi knows this, so he feels happy and proud, grinning widely.

When they reach the club room, Peyan gets caught up talking to Yasuda, and Takemichi smiles, now understanding things about the future that he didn't before. Ah, young love.

"Takemichi, you're here," Mitsuya says in a gentle voice. The girls in the craft club also stare at him. Strange, they never looked at him like this before, they used to be so focused on their work. Feeling the weight of their gazes, Takemichi grows nervous and hides behind Mitsuya, peeking out. Mitsuya chuckles softly at this, making the girls' eyes shine even brighter.

"I'm almost done. Wait a bit and you can try it on," Mitsuya tells him. As Takemichi follows him, the other girls huddle together and whisper. Takemichi doesn't really understand, but he feels a chill run down his spine. Are they whispering about him? He looks back, but now they're all focused on their work again. Was that just his imagination?

Mitsuya finishes the final stitches and hands the outfit to him. By the time he's done, it's time for everyone to leave, but the girls seem reluctant to go. Takemichi doesn't understand why.

Takemichi goes to the bathroom to change. How strange! He remembers the previous uniform fitting him perfectly, so why do the pants feel a bit loose now? Mitsuya is usually so precise; how did he get the measurements wrong this time?

"Mitsuya-kun, the pants are a little loose," Takemichi says as he steps out, pulling at the waistband to show the gap.

"A little loose? Let me see," Mitsuya responds in a way that doesn't sound surprised, as if he expected it. Takemichi doesn't pick up on this.

Mitsuya moves behind him and places his hands on Takemichi's waist, speaking softly in his ear, making Takemichi feel a little ticklish.

"I remember using your old measurements. Why are they loose? Have you lost weight, Takemichi?"

"I've actually gained weight, not lost it," Takemichi replies.

Suddenly, Mitsuya's hands wrap around his waist. Is he trying to measure with his hands?

"Let me measure you again, just to be sure," Mitsuya says, grabbing a measuring tape from around his neck and wrapping it around Takemichi's waist. He stands very close, and Takemichi can feel his back almost touching Mitsuya's firm chest.

Takemichi starts feeling tense. This close contact is making him shy awkwardly. He doesn't realize it, but his neck and ears have turned bright red. Mitsuya glances down, his eyes seemingly hypnotized as they linger on Takemichi's slender neck. Leaning in slightly, the faint, refreshing scent of mint shampoo from Takemichi's hair reaches his senses, leaving him even more entranced. They are both boys, so how could Takemichi carry such a gentle yet invigorating fragrance?

"Takemichi, you're way too skinny. Come to my home, I'll fatten you up," Mitsuya teases, lowering his head to rest his chin on Takemichi's shoulder. His voice drops to a playful tone, his warm breath brushing against Takemichi's ear. Startled, Takemichi jerks away, his cheeks flushing bright red as he covers his ears and looks at Mitsuya with wide eyes.

"Mitsuya-kun... That tickles."

Mitsuya snaps out of it, surprised by Takemichi's strong reaction. Takemichi bites his lip in embarrassment, avoiding eye contact. Mitsuya laughs awkwardly, trying to play it off.

"Haha, sorry, I took the joke too far."

"Mitsuya-kun, you've been teasing me a lot lately," Takemichi pouts, complaining.

"Ah! Sorry, sorry!" Mitsuya apologizes.

It isn't until Takemichi turns away that Mitsuya reveals an unusual gaze - one of overwhelming fascination that completely consumes him. Ah! It seems he has just discovered a sensitive spot on Takemichi.
