Kay walked into e block again. She was absolutely terrified of him after her outburst yesterday. She was not aware she could even have gotten that angry and it scared her that it had happened.

He was looking down at his DS with a hard concentration. He was trying very hard to ignore her. She plopped his bag of goldfish down on the desk in front of him. He pushed them back towards her. She started to cry. He pulled them back and began to eat, still not looking up from that stupid gaming device.

Kay pulled out a folder and got to work on some math homework. She started plowing through equation after equation, not even caring if the answer was correct or not. It was not like it really mattered.

The warning bell rang and Kyle and Kay had not yet said a word to each other. It was very upsetting to Kay. She looked over at Kyle and saw the bag was empty. She grabbed it and threw it away.

Then, the dismissal bell rang. Kay grabbed up her math papers and chucked them into the recycling bin before racing down the hallway as fast as she could.

"Hey!" she heard a voice call out behind her so she slowed. "Hey!," it called again. Then she felt a weight on her shoulder and turned around. It was Kyle. They moved to the side of the hall.

"What?" she asked coldly.

"I just thought that maybe you should keep these," he said, avoiding her eyes.

"Oh. Yeah. Thanks." Kay grabbed the papers back and shoved them into her bag. Then she looked at him. He looked up. "I'm sorry," she whispered. The second their eyes connected tears started to form in Kay's eyes.

"You cry a lot," he noticed. "Also, it's okay."

"I know I cry a lot. You make me feel...crazy I don't even know dude. But I love you."

"I know you do," he smirked. "If I didn't know by now I'd have to be pretty dumb. Now go to class before you get in trouble for being late." He patted her roughly on the head.

Kay ran down the hall to get to her next class. When she got there she felt her phone vibrate.

She didn't check it though...
