✨🎶TRACK 02🎶✨

A fury surface landed itself gently onto the soft angelic skin, tickling it playfully with its prickly tongue. Lithius brushed his nose and swatted his hands around to stop its movement. A soft groan escaped his throat as he buried his face into the pillow next to him that smelt of fresh grass. The scent disgusted his senses, forcing him to crack his eyes opened. Pushing his body up lazily, Lithius ran his delicate fingers in between the strands of his dark brown hair with light green highlights. Stretching his aching muscle, he immediately grabbed onto his forehead the minute he felt a strong jolt striking through his system.

Calista's evil smirk flashed before his eyes, joining by the clusters of constellations that seemed to be having too much fun tattooing his body. Lithius ran his fingers along the side of his cheeks only to feel immense pain thundering against his mortal skin. Calista wasn't joking. She meant her words and seemed to have succeeded in throwing him into the planet the scroll had selected for him. Lithius tightened his fist against the soft orange sheets, hate burning along his veins. He didn't even have the time to say goodbye to Uriel or even paid his last respects to Cyril before disappearing like the unwanted planet dust.

His delicate robe disappeared, leaving him clad in a mortal's lean body and a pair of gym pants. Lithius could see the veins bulging from his arms, a sign that the mortal had been working out a lot to maintain his body. Rising from the comfortable bed, Lithius smiled softly at the feline who curled its orange tail gracefully around his ankle. He bent down, patted onto its fur gently before removing his legs from the fury grip. Sighing, Lithius headed over to the mirror, staring into the unknown figure standing in front of him. This mortal had extraordinary sharp jawline and pale skin that almost mirrored Males's human figure.

Embrace it, Lithius. This is your one-way ticket to getting back to Halion. If the game is not finished, then you will be stuck here forever. Magic is not your strength here any longer. Embrace it.

Lithius looked around the light blue painted room to study to the source of the voice, only to find it slowly disappear. He sucked in the air, reading the surroundings carefully to learn more about the mortal. On the left wall, beautiful paintings were hung neatly. He got a whim to study it as if the smallest stroke of the paintbrush could grant him a passage out of this horrendous dream. Studying the painting of an endless sea, Lithius wondered if this mortal was an artist just like Uriel once was. He had no idea how long he would be here, but the sight of the painting sent waves of torment through his system. It felt as if the sea was too vast that no one could read the cry in between each wave.

"Felix...," said Lithius softly, his fingers ran across the cursive writing at the end of the painting, slowly admiring the elegant artwork on the frame itself. "A man with happiness and luck, but, what is this restless feeling lingering within your heart, child? What's this growing fear you have been hiding along with your life?"

A sudden knock washed Lithius away from his bubble of thoughts. He cleared his throat, pulled the nearest and most hideous he had ever seen. With trembling fingers, Lithius put it on hastily and just in time, the door cracked open, revealing a middle – age girl who mirrored the features of Felix. Tilting his head to the side, he yelped when she wrapped both his arms tightly.

"I'm so glad you are awake, baby brother!" she squealed, almost breaking his hearing as she brushed her fingers on his cheeks. "I've to let mom and dad know about this. They are worried sick. Then, you and I both are going to have a lovely tea time to come to terms with certain things. So, how are you feeling? Any headaches? Nosebleeds?"

"Nosebleeds? No," answered Lithius curiously. "I'm fine except for the pain that keeps coming from the back of my head once in a while. What happened here? Who are you?"

"Me? You are asking me who I am?" she questioned in terror and hurt paint across her face while brushing those light green strands out of his face. "We really need to bring you for a major checkup later. I'm Leticia, your elder sister. You have been asleep for roughly ten to twelve hours ever since Tommy beat you up with a baseball bat for talking back to him. What about you take a shower and come down for tea? I will get your favourite muffins baked this instance."

Lithius hummed, nodding with a smile. He watched Leticia left the room before turning to scan the room. Felix, a mortal boy being bashed by a baseball bat doesn't sound normal to him. Looking into his reflection, Lithius ponder on the kind of life Felix had been living. The thick books on the shelves near the window suggested the idea of Felix being a high school or university student. Paintings, multiple colour palates, earphones and headphones showed that Felix was mostly someone leaning to arts. Lithius found himself fallen into various flights of confusion as he guessed on. At this rate of guessing, he knew he wouldn't win this game and he needed to win because all he desired was to return to Halion. For peace.

Lithius

The voice whooshed softly between his ears, sending waves of shocks throughout his body. It set his soul on fire, but at the same time calmed his raging desires. Lithius headed towards the shower. Cold streams poured against his body, soaking him with droplets of memories. He buried his head deep down in between his palms, knowing that he needed to search for the soul that had been lost. A soul to merge with to understand the life of a mortal.

It's a life cycle. You are at your beginning. The end is just a corner away.

Biting onto the corner of his lips, the angel turned off the shower. He sat on the edge of the bathtub. Stabilizing his body, Lithius shut his eyes tightly, feeling the force of the galaxies dragging him into shreds. He set his soul ablaze to seek for Felix's. A dreadful feeling weighed over his pieces, tearing them further into various galaxies. One set atop the old ancient kingdom of Khuruz, inflicting old wounds on his broken spirit while the other vanished to join themselves among the planet dust.

"Just this once," he whispered on his own. "I am losing myself just this once to win this game. Felix, where are you? Come on. I can't have Calista laughing at me just because you mortal can't patch up your own life."

To finish this game, Lithius had to set his souls on fire. Even though he knew nothing of spiritual studies like the guardian of the Dead, Lithius was willing to tear himself apart to be on par with his ego. Stretching his soul further into a brittle thread, his mortal body convulsed the second it touched the long-forgotten planet. There, Lithius caught sight of Felix's puzzled and pixelated spirit almost fading away from existence. With the last drop of energy left within him, Lithius sacrificed his angelic straw to jolt Felix's soul back into his body.

"Come on, Felix. Don't fight me. I need you to cooperate. My soul is yours to use and until you have found purpose in your life, I shall guide you persistently," Lithius promised, gripping tightly onto Felix's soul. "Among my millions of soul, this one is for you. I am ready to merge with you and I am you."

A sharp piercing sound coursed through their hearing, shutting them from all dimensions. Felix jumped out from his seat. His pupils expanded, a hint of purple vanished from within, leaving a star mark at the corner of his temple. Felix coughed, massaging his chest gently before staring into the mirror. From within his eyes, he noticed Lithius's soul smiling at him before leaving. His body felt lighter and the fear that had always been living within him vanished. Reaching out, he touched the mirror, feeling the beautiful star on the side of his temple.

"Felix, are you alright?" Leticia's voice echoed in the room, causing him to startle and immediately grabbed the towel to cover his body. "Felix?"

Felix stepped out of the bathroom, smiling at his elder sister brightly.

"Yes, I'm here. Just getting a bath, Letty," he said with a cheerful smile. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing," Leticia replied staring at him. "Well, come on. I have chocolate chip cookies ready for you baby brother."

Felix nodded, staring into the bathroom that left a certain amount of celestial energy before heading downstairs to munch on his favourite cookie.
