Hello, LightSouls
(Yep, it's official. I'm calling fans of this book LightSouls 🤭😅)
Thank you so much for giving this book a chance. I am happy with the love and feedback so far.
So before the final chapters of the Book is published, here's a little Spin-off contest for you all. This is a chance to immerse yourself in the world of the LightBloods, be in my shoes, hold my quill and do whatever you want with the world or the characters, even fun, you can introduce new characters of your own!
Write a spin-off (fanfiction) on this book, Anaya: The Dark Voyage.
You are free to be as creative as you want but remember to stay true to the general idea of the book. You know how spin-off and fanfics work. Go wild with your imagination and simply leave me in awe.

WHAT IS A SPIN-OFF?
It is usually meant to indicate a substantial change in the narrative viewpoint and activity from that (previous) storyline based on the activities of the books' principal protagonist(s) and therefore is a shift to that action and overall narrative thread of some other protagonist(s), which now becomes the central or main thread (storyline) of the new sub-series.
The new protagonist generally appears first as a minor or supporting character in the main storyline within a given milieu, and it is very common for the previous protagonist to have a supporting or cameo role, at the least as a historical mention, in the new sub-story
What's the best angle for retelling a familiar book?
The angle you take when working on a spinoff story depends on your goals and interests. Here are a few ideas:
🗿The POV of a secondary character from the original
The viewpoint of a famous villain
🗿Turning the "world" of the original story upside down
🗿The story that takes place before or after the well-known story
Totally new characters who are in the same world as the original story
🗿A modern character discovering/rediscovering some kind of new relationship with the original story (example: while rereading a favourite story, the character falls into the pages)
🗿A retelling of the tale set in contemporary times (or even in the future)
🗿The real-life story behind the writing/publishing of a fictional book
Among many others!
Just think outside the box!
All the best!
