Afterdeath: Cop AU
(I've been reading stories about Afterdeath in the Cop AU and I just wanted to try it out myself-)
"What."
The officer looked up from his papers casually, his feet changing position on his desk as he was leaning back in his chair. "Hm?"
Geno, despite being handcuffed, made an effort to wave his hands around. "Wait, wait, run that by me again?"
The officer rolled his 'eyes', casually looking back at the papers. "Well, since I'm ever so nice, you can either work as my personal house maid or work down in the sewers like the rest of the inmates."
Geno gawked at his choices. "WHAT THE HELL?"
"What?"
"I'M NOT GOING TO BECOME YOUR SLAVE."
The officer slid his shoes off of his desk before scooting closer to Geno, setting down the papers and folding his hands. "Well, you won't necessarily be a slave, just have to do a couple of chores and that's it. In the sewers, you'll have to be working all day WITHOUT air conditioning and breaks, unlike this job I'm offering you."
Geno stared at the officer. The officer stared back. They stared at each other for a while before the officer let out a sigh, leaning back in his chair again.
"Look, it's that job or the sewers. What will it be?"
Geno gave the officer a look. "Why are you even giving me a choice?"
The officer blinked before leaning on the desk, smirking. "Why, I couldn't possibly put such a pretty face in the sewers~."

Killer looked up, holding a small bag of trash he had collected. He looked over at Geno, a bit confused. "Dude. Why didn't you take the maid offer?"
Geno, knees deep in gross, picked out a few pieces of trash floating and tossing it to Killer. " I don't f*cking know, that guy was seriously creeping me out."
Killer gave Geno a look. "Dude, breaks and air conditioning sound a lot better than whatever the hell we're doing down here."
The scarfed skeleton waded through the trash and picked up a few more, tossing it to Killer. "I just felt like... it was setting up for some cliche plot convenience? I don't know, a cop shouldn't even be able to do that."
Horror looked up from his side. He walked over with his bag, sitting down and taking a breather. "Well, this place sucks. Geno, Killer," He grabbed the attention of both of us. "I know someone which could bail us out. You in?"
Killer set his bag down. "Whatever is better than this dump."
Geno nodded. "Count me in."
Out of nowhere, a certain officer appeared. "Aww, are you all planning out an escape?" He smiled while his blue iris blazed with magic. "I'd love to see you try."
Killer flipped the officer off. "F*ck off, Reaper. We're not friends, especially after you tried creeping up on Geno."
Reaper surprisingly looked very hurt. "Me? Creeping up on someone? I would never!"
All three of them gave him a look. The look of, 'You're obviously full of bull sh*t'.
Reaper sighed, mumbling, "okaymaybeIwould", before turning around and walking away shamefully.
Geno now felt confident in his choice not to stay with that weirdo.

Sirens screeched as the three amigos (followed with some others, such as Dust and Error) ran for the giant gaping hole someone had created. When they were on the other side, their savior, a short skeleton wearing a crown with a moon etched into it, physically repulsed. "JESUS- DO YOU GUYS EVER SHOWER? IT SMELLS LIKE YOU'VE HAVE A PARTY IN THE SEWERS."
"Well, since we aren't given bars of soap in that prison, no." Dust growled.
"Well," the short skeleton scowled, turning around and leading the group. "Taking a long shower is first on the to do list."
"Where are you all going~?" A voice cooed. They all turned around to see none other than Reaper, twirling a set of handcuffs on his pointer finger.
"On a night stroll." Geno snarked, rolling his eye-lights before the short skeleton teleported them away.
Reaper blinked. "...sh*t."
The cop lost his prisoners.
