After watching the episode, I've been thinking about a lot of things.

So many things didn't connect with me.

-Why was Chara acting somewhat strange?

-Why was Ink's eyes white for most of the episode?

-Why is Nightmare complying and agreeing with Chara's Ideas?

-Why was Swap able to summon that knife?

-WHERE WAS ERROR WHILE THIS HAPPENED?!

Very confused, I turned to watching the video again.

And again.

And again...

I started to realize a few things as I continued to rewatch the episode.

Ahead are some theories that I put together out of knowledge of what I know (so far) on the characters and their outside stories (From their original creators).

If you don't want to hear them, cool.

You can put a few theories down in the comments as well.

I would love to hear all of your opinions.

Alright, let's begin.

1) Gaster Is Possessing Ink

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT.

It seems a little Far-fetched, but think about it.

Ink sans wears that satchel of paints on him. Currently on there are about 8 (?) Different colored paints. With these vials of color, Ink is given the ability to feel emotions, due to him being born soulless.

Now, if a monster were to absorb a soul, the souls would mingle together and create a new being, becoming nearly impossible to separate again (Example: (Maybe Cross??? It will be explained later in the chapter), Ultra Sans, Seraphim Sans, Othertale Sans, So on.).

In the vial, I theorize that the soul inside is NOT Cross sans' (as I originally believed), but X GASTER'S. 

Seeing as Ink is cheating life as he is practically WEARING his soul, it just so happens that Gaster's vial is also adorning his satchel (I realize that it's not a satchel, but roll with me for now ^-^'). So, theoretically, Ink somewhat absorbed his soul (in the same case as Cross (not exactly completely formed into one being))(Their bodies are shared, but their souls are still not melded together). However, in the logic of Underverse, Ink and Gaster's relationship is one-sided. 

Since it was shown that if two of the people were sharing a body (Ex. Cross), the ore soul power they have, the more 'control' over the body they have. Since Ink is soulless, I'm afraid that he is weak against Gaster's will. 

Some proof to my theory is when  Ink was almost attacked by X Chara, but was suddenly attacked by a bone attack. For a brief second, we could see Gaster (with a set of wing dings) appear. The bones were outlined a shade of violet (or purple), indicating of X-Tale (Since both Chara and Sans use Purple attacks and bleed Purple magic). Their color palette mostly consists of white and black (with a hint of red), but it also contains a shade of violet. Associating colors with everyone else's, it most likely was Gaster and was quickly covered up by Blueberry Sans.

Another thing is that Ink's eyes match the same shape and color as X Gaster's. Their somewhat cold and analytical, as if Gaster was watching through Ink. As if he were moving WITH Ink. 

2) Gaster Isn't Possessing Anyone

This is more likely the more I've read my first theory. I still am believing a little bit of 'Ink wearing Gaster has to do SOMETHING', but it might not be relevant. 

However, I'm starting to think that Gaster is actually in a different situation.

Alright, for this theory to work, the first has to not happen. 

So, Ink didn't absorb Gaster.

With that, Gaster is free to do whatever he pleases.

However, since he is reduced to only a small vial, he can't do much (shown in his faded-texture, the same how X Chara was with Cross) (or he can't do much because of an outside source). 

What I'm trying to say is that, Gaster has all of his abilities (except a physical form), including being able to withstand a rewrite (I believe). However, since the soul is connected to the being, Gaster has to follow the gang around (since Ink has his soul).

Some evidence is when X Chara was about to attack Ink. The bones may have been a Violet, but they indeed came from Blue.

I feel as if Gaster can assist anyone he chooses in the area, such as when  Blue pulled out the hacker knife Chara had. 

That might not be the case. 

Maybe he is just watching, like X Chara states. He's just wanting to see his game

Either way, Gaster is following the story, whether he is forced to or not.

3) Nightmare Is Genuinely Excited To See Chara's Plan

This is a very flimsy theory. I HIGHLY doubt that he cares about Chara's plans.

However, at the end, he shields Chara and teleports away (not forgetting to punish the child for almost breaking his rules (by stabbing the other Chara)).

This is just a side-theory I thought to the main one I have.

4) Nightmare Wants Chara To Be In His 'Evil Sanses'

I don't think the 'Evil Sanses' is cannon.

However, I can tell that Nightmare wants 'Chara' at his side. 

Not for an ally, but for a tool.

He would use them to get what he mostly needs (aka HATE OR FEAR (HATE SANS AND BETTY INTENSIFIES)).

I can't really see them as more than just a swordsman and a sword, but it might happen. 

5) What Will  Happen With Cross? (Indicating the 1/3 of soul that was retrieved)

I'm not completely sure.

I feel as if Cross wouldn't be a glitch anymore, but less than the 'ghost' Chara was. Maybe a floating head. Maybe just him being able to speak. Maybe he only appears when attacking or vice-versa. There are endless possibilities of what Cross is now.

I think I will lean more to the 'He's just a voice'. 

I'm not sure how he'll be seen.

I don't know for certain.

6) Where is Error Sans?

Well, I'm not going to say a lot about this because I feel as if it's completely obvious.

He's probably preoccupied with something else (Such as, BREAKING INTO THE OMEGA TIMELINE).

He might be back to Lucidia (or Lucida).

He might be watching them but not interrupting because he doesn't give a sh*t.

WHO KNOWS.

ERROR IS ERROR.

7) Will Cross Sans Ever Regain Power?

Yes.

Well,

Probably.

Most likely near the end or around the time now.

If X Chara were to absorb half or more of a Sans' soul (or lose their soul),Cross would most likely be awakened.

Again, it is unclear on when he will.

8) What Happened To US Papyrus and Chara?

Well, as you saw, they were left in their collapsing timeline.

Also, if Chara were to be erased or died, X Chara's soul would too.

There are two possible theories branching off of this one.

8A)

US  Chara dies/is erased, resulting in Chara either absorbing all of the soul or losing what they have.

This is the perfect opportunity for Cross sans to come back.

8B)

They are safely rescued by Core!Frisk and saved in the omega timeline.

Of course, their probably not completely safe, because in doing so, X Chara can now (porbably) enter the omega timeline.

Or

Error was watching and will finally get into the omega timeline.

Honestly, I prefer theory 8A because it seems more 'plot convenient' or more likely.

9)What's Next?

In one of the fist videos of Underverse, it shows all of the cast (Classic, Fell, Blue, etc.)

Right after Underswap was Outertale.

AND GUESS WHERE WE ARE????

OUTERTAAALE 

(Lol, OverlordMil and Sky will be silently screaming X'D)

Anyways, seeing as what happened with Fell and Swap, we can assume that all hell will break loose and most likely result in DESTRUCTION.

BUT

BUUUUT

There is also ANOTHER THING.

The gang just got shoved into a portal.

Chara might not come to that universe.

The gang might just recruit Outer for their mission (or something like that)

Though, I believe that it will go more like this:

1. The gang looks around, astonished by the scenery. 

2. Someone discovers them (maybe Papyrus again, Sans, Undyne, etc.)

3. They are brought to the other's for questioning (or something similar to that).

4. X CHARA ARRIVES AND STARTS WRECKING EVERYTHING..

5. OUTER IS PANICKED.

6. All of them ban together to defeat Chara (or cross)

7. Outer agrees to join them

8. EVERYONE GOES TO AFTERTALE.

OH!

SPEAKING OF ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUS,

AFTERTALE IS COMING UP.

OH BOY.

God, whenever I think of how Geno would react to 5 more versions of himself, I can't stop laughing XD

I MEAN, HE ALREADY HAS HIS CLASSIC TO DEAL WITH, MAH GOD.

Either way, if Chara (or Cross) showed in the save screen,  NOBODY WILL DIE since the save screen stops time.

ALSO,

WHEN HE SEES CHARA.

OHOHOHOHOHO.

GENO.

WILL.

REK.

THAT.

PIECE.

OF.

GARBAGE.

I CAN'T IMAGINE HOW BOTH HILARIOUS AND EXCITING IT WILL BE TO SEE HOW GENO WILL REACT, BEING A GENOCIDE SURVIVOR!

But, it's most likely that Geno can't come with them, unless if he leaves the save screen.

...

BUT WAIT.

AFTERTALE ENDED!

THEIR ON THE SURFACE!

THEY ARE ALL TOGETHER!

AND GENO STILL HAS 1/8 OF A SOUL.

FAK.

At least he isn't dripping! ^-^'

(Now, if REAPERTALE WERE INVOLVED, THINGS WILL JUST BE DONE IN A SECOND.)
