(¡SPOILERS!)

I had just watched the newest animation plus a small video of the planning for Underverse 3.0 when I realized something.

In the description for the newest video (animation of Error being awesome X3), the truce was going to be broken soon in Underverse.

So I had a thought,

"Who would break it first?"

Now, comparing mental stability with what is shown in most Ink and Error related works, we could assume that Ink would give in first, due to the fact he has more passion for what he does and getting cut off could be difficult for him (kind of like a sugar addiction or wattpad addiction X3).

But there was the fact of Error's shattered psyche, shown in the 'voices in his head' and his twisted idea of balance, which could potentially lead to downfall as well.

The two are certainly opposites, but when put in a situation which limit their key functions, they are almost identical.

Honestly, it was hard for me to decide.

In any other situation, Ink would have most likely caved first because of all the things already listed and for the fact that Error would most definitely be enjoying Ink's struggle from the sidelines.

It's as if both of their 'entertainment' disappeared. Ink would find a hard time finding his while Error would find a new form of his kind of 'entertainment' in Ink's struggle.

So Error would triumph.

However, what about Underverse?

Well, Underverse is a special case.

One, there is a truce enacted which was both agreed on WILLINGLY.

Two, they don't know each other personally. They know about each other, but nothing more than that.

At this point in time, the 'Passion' for Ink's purpose is...well, gone.

As shown in the latest episode which was put out (Underverse 3.0 ; Before the Outer tale Section), Ink seemed...oddly emotionless.

The passion which would lead to his downfall just...vanished.

Without it, it's more likely for Error's boredom to get to the better of him and make him go rogue.

Then a thought occurred to me.

I've already worked out who would most likely give in first, but a past thought arose in my mind.

I think I might know why Ink is 'emotionless'.

The Truce.

It's the Truce.

The Truce is doing this to him.

Look,

As described in the comics issued by the original creator of Ink sans (Comyet (?)),

He gains emotions from the ongoing flow of creativity and emotions from the creators. Once it stops, however, he loses those feelings.

That's why he carries around his satchel which contains said emotions so that he won't feel 'empty' anymore.

However,

As the truce states,

Error is prohibited in destroying any more AUS
AS WELL AS
Ink is prohibited in allowing the creation of new ones.

It seems like a fair truce,

But the issue is this :

Ink no longer has that flow of emotion. He doesn't have an 'unlimited source' anymore.

That's why he probably isn't using any of his paints which he keeps on his satchel-thing.

It's probably the only paints he has left.

For a better explanation (I hope .w."),

Imagine if you had a water bottle which you could constantly fill up at a water source. You wouldn't even worry about going thirsty since you can just fill it up again.

However, what if the water source stopped generating water, leaving only the remaining water inside of it?

Sure, the water already in it will sustain the bottle for a while, but what happens when the water source runs out?

What about the already collected water in the water bottle? The only water you have left?

You would most likely ration or save it, since you don't want to waste it and be screwed later on.

However, day after day, you start to change. The lack of water which is vital to you starts messing with your head until you 'change' completely.

...

Oh.

Isn't Ink like that with his paints? =)

What I'm trying to say is this :

The cause for Ink's emotionless attitude is due to the fact of the Truce, which is cutting off anymore creativity to be created. If Ink doesn't get any 'paint/creativity', he starts losing the feeling and reverts back to his souless self.

So yeah.

This is crazy stuff past 12 am in the morning, where my brain thinks of the craziest things.
