jay was devastated after that. he had always been rejected but this one is different, jungwon just admit that he thinks he's annoying.

was he an annoyance to jungwon the whole time?

"come on jay. get up! we're gonna be late for school." sunghoon had been forcing him to go up for almost a half an hour already.

"i said i'm not going to school today. can't you see? i'm heartbroken!"

"but i have a friend that just transfered today. i want you to meet him so please? jake is already there with him!"

"ugh fine!"

jay didn't regret going to school today. he got to meet nicholas, sunghoon's friend from Taiwan who just transfered.

they got close easily since they have a lot of similarities. despite only meeting this morning it looks like they've been besfriends for years.

"who's that?" jungwon asked eyeing the two from another table.

"oh that's nicholas, a transfer student." heeseung answered not noticing the look in his brothers face but sunoo did.

"calm down jungwon. if you keep staring at them like that then they might melt or something." sunoo said giggling.

jungwon scoffed. "i wasn't staring at them. i'm just curious about the new guy."

"oh really? or you're just feeling jealous because all of the sudden, jay hyung isn't paying attention to you?"

sunoo was just joking but unknown to him, jungwon got hurt.

he doesn't even understand why he felt a pang on his chest. isn't that what he wanted all along? for jay to stop bothering him?

he let out a sigh. he was always harsh when it comes to rejecting jay so he guess jay got tired already. maybe it's a good thing that the older found someone. and who was he kidding? he asked for this. jay was just doing him a favor.

"i'm going back to our classroom." jungwon stood up from their seat.

"what? but we have 15 minutes left for lunch." daniel said.

"i've lost my appetite. enjoy the remaining minutes or whatever." and he walked away.

the three who got left watch the retreating figure until he was out of their sight.

"what was that about?" heeseung asked. "he looks upset."

sunoo answered by pointing into jay's table, where he was laughing with the new guy and his friends.

"probably got jealous." he shrugged.

"jealous? jungwon hyung doesn't like him." daniel rolled his eyes at his cousin.

"or maybe that's what he thought. what if deep inside he does like jay? he just hasn't realize it."

"he's my brother so i know him well. i think sunoo's right."

"we can't confirm that.... unless he says it." sunoo saw the glint of sadness in daniel's eyes.
