What Just Happened?
Once I left with Trina, I had absolutely no idea what to do. I knew I had to take her home, so I ran to Britain and found a family that had a kid her age and I could tell were a good, kind family: the Hunters. They had an eight-year-old girl--Bronwen--who I could tell immediately liked Trina. I explained the situation to the Hunters, saying that we had lived in London instead of Amsterdam and using my best British accent, and they agreed to take good care of Trina. I told her goodbye and promised that I would try to see her sometimes, a promise that I didn't know if I could keep, but I would try my best.
I know I had promised Iyunae I would get away, but I didn't know where else to go. Once I had dropped Trina off, I stopped at a rest stop somewhere in the country to figure out where I was going. I had told Iyunae I wouldn't go back, but I had never been anywhere else. I went through a few travel brochures and found one that peaked my interest. New York City.
It took me a while to make my way across the Atlantic, but it wasn't until I had run past the Empire State Building that I realized exactly where I was. I ran for a few more minutes and eventually skidded to a stop in an alley, patting out the sparks dusting my jacket. I made sure I looked normal before walking out onto the sidewalk.
I weaved through the people walking down the street trying to get to work or school. I saw a man walking alone and headed in that general direction. I pulled my jacket tighter around my body and tried to act just like an insecure teen, which I wasn't far from. I stumbled to the right as I passed him, bumping into him, grabbing his wallet and muttering a quick, "Sorry!" I walked into another alley and pulled out the wallet, counting the money inside: $65. I sighed.
I guess this is my life now.

The next day, I'd found a nice little apartment building that had a room in it that no one was allowed to use. Apparently, lightning was drawn to the room during storms, so no one was allowed to even go in the room.
I ran down the stairs two at a time and headed out. Turns out speed is an essential element to a pickpocket, so needless to say, I was pretty good at it. I walked down the sidewalk like normal, weaving between the people who were in too much of a rush to notice a pickpocket in their midst. I saw a man with dark brown hair and light brown eyes looking at his phone. The sea of people seemed to part around him. No one wanted to mess with this guy. I crossed the street and walked behind him. I shivered and phased a bit to warm myself up.
Tony Stark's P.O.V.
As I scrolled through the blueprints I had made earlier that morning for a new Iron Man suit, I was vaguely aware of someone watching me. I looked around, but I saw nothing but people heading to work and school.
"Sir," JARVIS said in my ear. "You are being watched." I nodded.
"I gathered that," I said. "But by who?"
"The girl behind you." I spun around just in time to catch her wrist as she tried to reach into my pocket and grab my wallet. She looked up at me with scared eyes.
"You almost got me," I said. I smirked. "Impressive. Who are you?" I blinked, and then she was gone in a streak of blue. I looked down at my hand. There was a burn across my palm where I was holding onto her wrist. I looked around, but she was nowhere in sight.
"JARVIS," I said. "Run facial recognition."
"For the girl?" I nodded.
"See where she likes to hang out."
Chrissy's P.O.V.
Oh, crap. Oh, crap. Oh, crap! I've never gotten caught before! How did he even do that? Is he like me? How else do you stop a kid with super speed? In my panic, I ran to the place I felt most safe. Not my apartment, but a gym a couple blocks away. I ran to the alley next to the building, then walked inside.
"Ah, if it isn't my best customer," Jacob, the owner, said as I walked in. I scoffed.
"That makes no sense," I said. "I'm the only customer you have that doesn't pay you." He shrugged.
"Yes, but you're also the most interesting and fun customer I have." I chuckled and walked back to the small gym Jacob always kept empty for me. His other customers didn't even know it existed. Jacob followed closely behind me.
"So?" he asked. I looked at him as I pulled off my hoodie, leaving me in just leggings and a tank top.
"So . . . what?" He scoffed.
"So why did you rush over here? You said you wouldn't be here until noon today. It's only nine." I sighed, walking over to a punching bag.
"I got caught." He looked at me wide eyed. "Some guy that happened to turn around at the perfect time. I had to run to get away. I didn't know where else to go." He nodded.
"Well, you know you're always welcome here." I smiled at him before punching the bag at supersonic speed, which also lets me do more damage than a normal person. Jacob walked out, and I don't know how long it was before I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I spun around, tensed up and ready for a fight. There, in the doorway stood the man from earlier. He smirked at me.
"Christine?" he asked. I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth but said nothing. "I think we have quite a lot to talk about."
Legit, the video? I needed blue lightning, so I was looking for Zoom, but then this showed up, which is even better!!
Luv you, Wolves!!
I do not own anything from the MCU. I only own Chrissy and her counterparts.
