I MADE AN ORIGINAL AU--

OKAY SO, THE BASIS:

The AU takes place in a world where people have wings, fins, etc. (Animal adaptations) which allows them to survive in a world with 'no land'. 

People have either bird wings or fishy features since the world only has oceans and sky. 

HOWEVER

The skyfolk soon discover land as their colony floats towards it.

And they discover a completely different world with land creatures and such uwu.

THERE ARE THREE RACES: THE SHANTI, THE OOLISKS, AND THE HYTRA-

Here is the basic info uwu

SHANTI (landfolk)

- predatory culture/nature. Behavior and actions vary from individuals as well as knowledge. 

- Most are fairly aggressive and will actively prey on any other race 

- Scariest/ least known/ mysterious 

- Claws, horns, hooves, antlers, fur, etc. 

- Distinct language and varies from area to area. One could have an actual language or others might communicate in sign language 

- They don't have a real 'economy' or 'government', but if a group of Shantis were together, it would behave the same as a wolf pack or a lion pride.

Oolisks (Seafolk)

 - agricultural or warrior culture. It varies upon certain groups.

- Are fairly diplomatic by nature, even when fighting or feuding

- Wise and Spiritual

- Fins, tails, gills, blowholes, tentacles, anything aquatic in features

- Language mainly sounds like music notes or whistling, but they are capable of speaking the Hyrta language

- Most Oolisks are familiar with Hytras and actively trade and communicate with them by rocky islands or rock areas where the Hytras can perch safely above water

Hytras (Skyfolk)

- Scavengers/ social society of adventurers. They are culturally diverse since their cloud homes travel around the world.

- They are quite cautious yet curious in nature

- Knowledgeable and thrill-seekers as well

- Wings, beaks, light bones, feathers, exoskeleton (for insectal?), bat wings (for the nocturnal/night folk), etc. Fairly diverse with wing span and shape

- They are able to stand on clouds and they live on them. Since most clouds move due to the winds, they are fairly nomadic.

- Are very friendly towards Oolisks.

These three races are also split into smaller colonies/clans:

Hytras:

- Sparrows. These people have elliptical wings and are found in bats too uwu They are the colony that most of my bois are in uwu

- Falcons. They have high-speed wings and are mainly predatory. However, they are found typicaly on the other side of the earth and rarely bump into Sparrows.

- Gulls. They have long soaring wings and are mainly found near water. They hang around rain clouds or stone rocks above the water.

- Vultures. They have high-lift/ broad wings. They are actually groups of people which mingle with Shanti and feast on dead carcases >:/ They are real jerks but the other colonies barely interact with them.

Oolisks:

There are many different diverse groups and they are all based off of the many species of fish

Mainly, they are:

- Coral tribe. They have strong structures

- Dolphins. Voyagers and a trolling bunch >:/

- Sharks. Fierce and cold.

- Schools; the fish which swim open waters and rely on numbers

- Ground scavengers, like crabs, octopi, etc.

- Midnight Tribe which glows and lives in the darkest depths

Shanti:

Typically don't have tribes but the few known ones are:

Lion Pride- They function as such and have an actual language

Wolf Pack- They function like a wolf pack and secretly communicate. Their language is too complex and takes a while to learn.

And then there are wandering loner ones so uwu
