....And my family have wished for art.

So far so easy, I put my copics and Copic paper out.
My Father told me to draw some Pokémon for him. Fine, Shiny Absol it is.

My Sister, Now, this is more interesting.
She wished for Stitch, from Lilo & Stitch.
Problematic.
So I sketched in my sketchbook, again and again, I filled three double sided pages with doodles.
Then I took my Copic Paper and started sketching.
I soon notice-
"How am I supposed to do this?"
I've never drawn in such a style before, since she showed me a reference and basically wanted it to look like that.
The shades.
You see, I have one pack of copics- 8, to be exact. The outlines were easy, but when it came to coloring, that's where the trouble began.
If you know Stitch, you know he mostly consists out of blues and purples.

I have one blue, dark blue, and two purples, even though one is more blue-purplish. And one pink.
I decide to at least try and first color in the inside of the left ear with the lighter purple.
But I notice... That's way too dark. So I blended it with pink.
Still too dark.

That's when I figure out my trick for this picture.
I use the blender to lighten the colors on the edges and where the light hits him.
And I figure out that it works!

I used the blender on each part of the body to create different nuances, and again, my grayish marker to create the sensation of shade.
But when I got to the eyes, I hit another problem. I don't have light blue.
No matter how I tried to blend and lighten, it didn't work.
What I did was use one of my older pens, and I found out it corresponds to the blender and shader the same way, so I was luckily able to use it!

When my sister saw it yesterday, she framed it and hang it onto her wall.
I didn't quite understand, since I find it average or below average, since I had to improvise on most parts.

Hm, dunno. What do all of you think?
