Yes this is a Steven universe reference lol and yes I do watch Steven universe. I was listening to the song ' change your mind ' by Zach Callison. I don't know why but that song really inspired me to draw. And I had one of those moments where you listen to the words and let them run through your mind.

So I'm gonna get real deep with this. Sorry for those expecting a Steven universe picture I'll try to do one some time ^^ so the color scheme I chose because pink normally related to either love or embarrassment. For me, that includes both in this picture.

The holes in cloude's skin represent expectations. Pressure, and loneliness. All emotions I'm sure we've all felt.

The whole in her chest, one a circle, represent the gap between the heart dissapearing from others around her. And the diamond to represent HER.

Maybe you all have noticed, but I always seem to put a smile in a drawing I do. Of some sort. I do that purposely. I know alot of you guys look to me as a big sister or as a friend, even more when you guys don't even know I look to you guys too.

People expect us to be things. It's life. But just know being you is ok. Doesn't matter what you are. Gay, Lesbian, whatever.

But sometimes you just wish you could change others minds. To fit yours.. I feel like that too.
