You walked to the stables to clear your mind off for a while. Another expidion happened and cost the life of your best friend. It hurts but you managed to keep a straight face about it.

After all, you are good at lying about your emotions.

And maybe a little heartless when it comes to it.

You entered the stables and saw a familiar blond boy take care of his horse.

"Hi, (Y/n)," Armin smiled as you entered and you managed a smile which was easy, "Hi Armin."

Armin frowned a bit, somehow, he can sense the sadness of your voice, "Are you okay?"

You nodded and smiled a little bit brighter, "I am fine, I jut came to check on ((h/n) is horse name)."

Author: Esteban! My horse is Esteban!

Mumu: Shut up.

Author: I'll make Esteban real!

Myoni: You don't even have a horse.

Author: And make him scarlet with white legs that looks like stockings!

Mumu & Myoni: She's just continuing of her rant so let's go back to the story...

"Okay, just know (Y/n) that I'm here for you," Armin said and you nodded and blushed a bit. Armin looked away and blushed too, What in the world did I just say?

"I'm fine, Armin, but thanks," you said and walked to (h/n) who whinned happily seeing you, then you looked at the stable beside it... It was (b/f/n)'s horse. You sighed, and patted your horse's forehead, trying not to stream down tears. Armin looked at you and saw you bite your lip while patting the horse.

She's broken, Armin thought, yeah, he knew about you lying about emotions and is always ready to explode when you are alone. Armin wanted to hug you and tell you everything will be fine but he's just so can't. He can't even tell you he likes you!

He sighed and looked at you one more time, before his horse nudged him and looked at the hay, Armin chuckled and gave him the hay, then some more strokes on his horse's forehead before he left.

You didn't knew Armin left, but once you heard the stable door close, you sighed as you are finally alone. You looked at (b/f/n)'s horse one more time and small teardrops welled down your face, as the memory of your best friend's death replayed in your mind.

"(Y/n)! Run!" You heard your best friend shout at you, you looked behind and saw a titan coming near with that creepy looking smile and big buldging eyes as it looks down at you and chased after you. You spurred your horse and sprinted away before that big hand grabbed you.

But once you looked back, it swung to a nearby building and smashed it, making you fall, luckily your horse was still alive and ran away.

"(Y/N)!" your best friend shouted.

You squirmed at your state, but you can't escape since a big rock pressed your lower body. You saw the titan come near you and you also saw (b/f/n) coming after you. The titan pushed the rock away and was ready to grab you, anyways you can't escape since your legs are crushed, but you used your arms to push back away.

"(B/F/N)! DON'T COME NEAR!" You shouted and tears welled down your face. The titan looked to (b/f/n)'s direction and grabbed her. You heard her scream and her horse spurred away.

Then like as if slow motion, your bet friend looked at you, then, the titan snapped her body and devoured her.

"NOOO!" You shouted.

"(Y/n)!" Armin called. Once he saw your horse he knew something must've happened. Jean was also with him and saw the titan, and your best friend being devoured.

"Armin you take (Y/n)!" Jean ordered and Armin nodded and went to you. He went down his horse and looked at your poor state.

"A-Armin, (b/f/n)... She... She... She got... e-eaten," you muttered and Armin frowned and carried you, "It will be alright (Y/n)," he assured and put you on your horse, he looked at Jean and saw him kill the Titan and mount his horse.

"Let's go!" Jean shouted and the three of you ran away from the small town, Jean looked at you and your emotionless face.

You just clutched the reins of your horse. Along the way you saw your best friend's horse, and insisted to bring it back.

After that expidition, every night you had nightmares while you were healing. And those nightmare still continue...

You finished checking on (h/n) and went back to the castle, you ate a little for dinner, and most of them asked if you are okay and instantly you will lie being fine. After that you went instantly to your room, and closed the door behind you. You lied down your bed and curled up to a ball.

I couldn't save her... I should have died, what was I thinking?! You thought and tears streamed down and you cried, not that loud and not that quiet.

You didn't notice the door open and Armin stood there looking at your balled up state, he slowly went near you and hugged you.

You jumped from the contact and looked up and saw Armin's face looking at you, "A-Armin?"

"I'm sorry, (Y/n). But please don't hide your feelings, it... It hurts me," Armin muttered and you looked down and continued to cry while Armin just hugged your for comfort and combed your hair.

"I couldn't save her... (B/f/n)... I wish I was the one that died... Not her," you hiccuped and hugged Armin back, nuzzling on his chest. Armin placed both his hand on your cheeks and wiped away your tears.

"(B/f/n) wouldn't want you to be like this," Armin said, and kissed your forehead, okay, now that maybe too much... He thought and blushed.

You touched your forehead and looked at him while blushing, "Why... Why do you care so much about me?"

Armin smiled, "I love you, (Y/n)... Eveytime you try to hide your emotions or push it away... It's like I could feel your pain, I want you to be happy and release the sad emotions and don't lie about it."

Your blushed reddend, and you looked down, never in your life you were told those, you kept on hiding your emotions in the dark, and maybe your feelings for him too. You cried, "T-thank y-you A-Armin... T-that's m-means a lot to me..."

You looked at him and smiled, for once, a real smile, "I love you too, Armin, maybe along the way of hiding my emotions, my feeling hid too..."

Armin smiled, "Finally a real smile," he said and kissed you, after all this time... You finally felt happy, loved, and cared for. You kissed back and wrapped your arms around his shoulder and Armin placed his hands on your waist. You both parted for air and looked into each other's eyes.

"Thank you," you repeated, and hugged him.

Somewhere up above, (b/f/n) looked down at the two of you.

"FINALLY you don't need to lie anymore," she said and smiled, "And finally you've expressed yourself already..."

Oh god, while writing this I needed to grab a fuzzy caterpillar and bring it out of our house *shudders in memory*

Myoni: It was a cute caterpillar!
