1 month later

Seokjin's parents take him out to dinner, discussing the wedding plans they talked about earlier. Seokjin came to his parents house and sat together at the dining table.

"My dear, how about your wedding plans?" His mother said.

"First, there was something I wanted to tell you, I'm currently dating Taehyung. I don't think I can continue with that plan."

"What? why? didn't you say—"

"Dad, I'm sorry, this just happened and please convey my apologies to his parents"

"Jin, are you all right?"

"Mom I'm fine, it's my fault, I planned this wedding without his knowing, maybe this is what keeps us apart now"

"Do you love your boyfriend?" My father said.

"Dad, of course I love him, I know he's always there for me"

The conversation was very long, the wedding plans that Jin had dreamed of now just disappeared.

A week after the incident at the restaurant, Taehyung confessed his feelings to Jin and Jin accepted it. They met every day, spent time together and it made Jin realize that all this time he was just wasting time, waiting for something uncertain.

Elsewhere, Jungkook also came to his parents' house, missed because he had not seen each other for a long time. His parents were too busy working and so was he. When Jungkook was lying in his room, his mother came in and sat beside him, making Jungkook wake up.

"Mom, what's wrong?"

"Are you okay? You don't usually go home, there must be something bothering you"

"Hm does that really show on my face?"

"Of course, but only your mother can see it, what's wrong? you can tell me"

"It's about Jin"

"Jin? what is it? are you all right?"

"I don't know mom, I think now we're getting further away"

"what do you mean?"

"A month ago I met him, he and his boyfriend to be precise—"

"Wait, wait.. him and his boyfriend? What does it mean? aren't you guys dating?

"What? no, I mean yes, we dated when we were in college but only for 2 years and that's it, now we are friends"

"Strange.."

"Strange? why? what do you mean mom?"

"You remember that time Jin's parents said their son wanted to marry someone?"

"Yes, I remember, at dinner"

"Yes, to be more precise, when you went to the bathroom, they said that Jin was planning a wedding with his parents, they were obviously shocked because Jin suddenly discussed marriage, then his parents asked who he would marry and he said you were the one. That's why we often have dinner together, I thought you knew about this, I thought this was your plan."

Jungkook still can't process his mother's words properly, he doesn't know what's going on in his head right now.

"Mom told me that what you said was a lie"

"I wish I could say that, but that's the truth, does this mean your wedding plans are cancelled?"

"Mom I don't know about this, I thought he was going to marry someone else, that's why I.. I"

"What are you doing? Don't tell me that you were the reason he gave up on marrying you and dating someone else?"

"Mom, I really don't know, I was very jealous when I found out he was getting married so I kept tugging at him to keep him paying attention, but I think I made a mistake"

"Poor son, this is because of your own doing"

Jungkook seemed to have been hit hard in his heart, it was very painful when he knew he could have Jin completely but because of his stupidity he kept Jin away from him.

The only way they can meet is for a family dinner, but even that won't change anything, Jin already has a boyfriend and he hates Jungkook too.

2 days after

The dinner for the two families happened again as usual, Jungkook came, he saw his parents and Jin's parents were already there, but he didn't see Jin's presence.

When he sat next to his parents and started eating, he felt something strange, Jin didn't come even when they were almost done eating.

"Sorry Mr. and Mrs. Kim, is Jin not coming tonight?"

"Ahh yeah, we forgot to mention, if Jin can't come today because he has other appointments, maybe next time he will come Jungkook" his mother said.

Jungkook was very disappointed to hear that, next time it was like a fake word, he knew there wouldn't be another time.

After he finished he went back to his apartment. Sitting on the sofa in his living room, looking at his phone and when he opened his Instagram, his eyes opened wide when he saw Jin's latest post.

Jin posted himself kissing Taehyung's cheek with the caption 'I love you my winter bear ❤️'. Instantly tears welled up in his eyes and his chest tightened. He turned off the phone and put it on the sofa.

2 months later

December 3 [Jin's House]

Seokjin was cooking in his kitchen until a pair of arms wrapped around his waist from behind, making him blush and smile.

"Tae, I'm cooking"

"I just want to accompany you to cook"

Jin didn't answer anything he just leaned back and smiled. His right hand is stirring the soup and his left hand is holding Tae's hand which is on his stomach.

"Jin your birthday tomorrow, what do you want as a present?"

"I want you"

"Me? you can get me every day"

"Then I don't need anything, you are enough"

Tae turned off the stove in front of Jin and pulled Jin to sit on the sofa.

"Tae, I haven't finished cooking yet"

"You can continue later dear, now answer me, what gift do you want?"

"I told you I want you"

"Want me?"

He nodded with a smile, Tae pecked Jin's lips and looked at him.

"I love you Jin, if you really want me, fine I will grant it"

"What do you mean?"

"secret, this is your birthday present"

"Aish! but you've made me curious"

"Then be patient until tomorrow"

"You're mean!" Jin pouted and crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"If you pout like this, it makes me want to eat you Jin"

"Aish! pervert"

Taehyung pulled Jin into his arms, Jin's head rested on his shoulder, he didn't hug Tae because he was still pretending to be annoyed. But Tae still hugged him and rubbed his back. He really likes Tae's warm attitude, he always knows how to calm Jin down.

"I love you Jin, I hope we can be together"

"I love you too, why do you say that? we will always be together." Jin pulled away and looked at Tae.

"You want be together with me?"

"Of course, you promised to stay with me"

Tae smiled and kissed Jin's lips. This time Jin can't refuse anymore, he really likes Tae, everything that Taehyung gives him is very sincere.
