Safe and sound?... (Part 2)
3rd person's POV:
Yasu's eye slowly started to open, and then he got up. Surely he had been unconscious for a long time, right? There's no accuracy for an answer, but that wasn't the case.
He woke up and somehow... he wasn't in the hotel anymore? The boy felt uneasy, as he knew something was wrong here. Is it another trick of that witch again? How long until he'll make it out?
Suddenly, a voice whispered.
"Welcome to The Mist, Yasu Masashige."
Yasu was shocked. Terrified, even. How did the voice know his name? This wasn't the witch, but someone completely different. Is it an ally of hers? Boy, he was getting déjà vu.
"You will be participating in a round soon."
"A round?" Yasu thought to himself. Is this some sort of game? No way was he brought— no, taken here just to be playing a game for someone's entertain. Surely there was some asscociation with the witch, right? Guess Yasu will never know.
He then was thossed a paper to read. It wrote:
RULES:
You are on the survivors team. Your main objective is to work with other survivors, help them out, repair generators to win. But it's not easy — you will face the wrath of the killer.
"If the killer is in a 70 radius-stud, you can see the killer for 5s and temporarily silent yourself for 20s (still detectable, however) . People near (15 radius) you also recieve the similar thing, but they won't recieve the vision of the killer's location. "
.
He clearly understood the letter, but still baffled at some point. "See the killer"? "Temporarily silent"? Is this some kind of perk or ability? It surely was good for him, since the boy has been quiet and stealthy, otherwise he wouldn't have survived 'til now.
But one thing was left questioning. Will he succeed in this upcoming round? Who will he facing with and against? And most important, will he survive?
Yasu still has a lot to discover in this dimension.
.
.
.
Opening his eyes, once again, Yasu finds himself in a mansion. He looked around - walls being demolished with a big hole, reeds growing in the corners, surely this mansion has been left for ages. A young girl spawning up top at the stairs saw him, assuming he's a new survivor.
"Hey, up here! Are you new?"
Panicked, he quickly turned his head to where the voice came from. He had forgotten he was not alone, but luckily it was someone from the survivors side. Her style is quite... odd: She had black hair with faint pink tints near the edge, her jeans being long and baggy with a belt not being adjusted properly; he didn't payed much attention to the topwear though.
"Yeah... I'm very baffled of what just happened to me, to be honest."
"Ah, guess the Mist decided to add some more... Anyways, there's a generator up here, hurry or the killer will get us!"
As the man reached upstairs, the two started working on the generator. Yasu learnt that the girl that he just met is Makoto, and she is also Japanese! He's quite glad he found another Japanese person, due to him being more confident in Japanese rather than English.
"So... how did you end up here? I'm curious."
That question got Yasu silent. He didn't want to tell her he just got hit by a CHILD before ending up in this Mist realm, surely that IS embarassing. He chose to ignore, but his mind was somehow still thinking about that question and how to reprise so that it doesn't sound weird, until...
BOOM!
"Jeez man, you just made the gen EXPLODE!"
"I— I got lost in thought, my bad..."
"It's fine though, I often end up in those situations, " Makoto said, considering forgiveness to the new guy. "—but be careful next time man. That could attract the killer's attention, especially for new people like you can be easily targetted—"
Suddenly, footsteps can be heard. At first, it was thought that it was survivor who somehow just passed by, but no. A vision appeared in front of Yasu. It seemed red, surrounding something... and worse of all— there was a scheme of red light approaching closer and closer.
Both of two Japaneses froze.
" ... I think we ought to run."
