These are rules for anyone who'd like to join the book club. And we know, nobody likes rulesm but here they are anyway:

╰┈➤﹒All genres are allowed except random.
╰┈➤﹒Mature books are allowed, however, a plot that is nothing but sm*t is not allowed.
╰┈➤﹒You should have at least 3 chapters (author's notes, aesthetics, etc. don't count). Prologues do count as a chapter.
╰┈➤﹒You can only enter one work of yours.
╰┈➤﹒Only join if you have time, we don't want members ghosting us. If there is an emergency, please inform us as soon as you're able.
╰┈➤﹒You need Discord in order to join.
╰┈➤﹒Be kind and respectful while commenting on your partner's work. If any rudeness is detected, you will be removed from the book club.
╰┈➤﹒You can only apply for the reader role here! If you like to apply for roles in addition to reader or other roles, please apply through our hiring book!

You do need Discord to join the book club, since you are joining our community when you apply here. A lot of the activity and discussions happen in our community Discord server. Please mention your Discord username so we can send you the link to our interview server! If you're not comfortable sharing your Discord username publicly, let us know. One of our admins will share theirs and you can friend them on Discord to get the server link. Before you join, you'll have to answer some questions and complete an interview so we know you're suited for the role. In our community server, you'll be able to directly chat with other readers and receive reminders about updates.
