Welcome to the Book Club!

Here you’ll find everything you need to know about how the club operates.

Please note: If you’re joining through the book club, you are joining the community as a reader.

How It Works:

Each week, you'll be paired with another reader. Your task is to read three chapters of your partner’s book and leave at least five meaningful comments per chapter.
These comments must each be at least one full sentence and can include:

➛ Feedback or suggestions

➛ Reactions or thoughts

➛ Predictions or general reflections

If a chapter is too short to leave five comments, you may instead write one longer, thoughtful overview for that chapter.

Assignment Schedule:

Assignments are posted weekly, and the deadline will be clearly stated in each announcement. Your manager will inform you of the required time zone and any changes or updates to the schedule.

Points System:

➛ Completing an assignment: 45 points

➛ Book Recommendations : 20 points

We highly encourage extra discussion—it helps you climb the leaderboard and compete for a spot in the top 10!

Missed Assignments & Extensions:

➛ Missing an assignment means no points.

➛ You have one week to catch up before receiving a strike.

➛ Extensions must be requested before the deadline and will grant you an additional two weeks.

➛ Extensions cannot be requested on the day the assignment is due.

➛ Two missed assignments = one strike.
