The father figure readjusted himself to better hug the emo. "Something's clearly wrong..."

Patton wipes the tears from his face and hummed softly.

"Happy anniversary!"

Roman looked at it and smiled before turning serious "Wait it's our anniversary?"

"Yeah? Don't tell me you forgot!"

"I won't tell you I forgot...but yes that is what I did."

Emilie groaned "c'mon Ro!"

"What I'm sorry! One week anniversary isn't that important anyway!"

Emilie frowned "whatever..." he handed Roman the present and walked away

"Wait!I-" Roman tried to salvage the situation but failed miserably.

Emilie walked in and he was fuming. I've never seen him so mad!

"Hey babe, you good?" I asked, trying not to smack my gum.

"Roman forgot it was our anniversary." He plopped down on my couch. Damn I should really vacuum.

I smirked "he does stuff like that. Don't think to hard about it."

Emilie frowned at me, was he gonna start crying? Seriously?

"For sure, you'll warm up to him eventually."

"Well- I just don't think...I see him like that." He whispered the last part, I couldn't tell if he was ashamed or not

"Yeah he's kinda like a little kid, more of someone you need to babysit then boyfriend material."

I think me saying that only made him more upset. "Why did I have to get stuck with him?" He crosses his arms.

"Cheer up bro, seeing you upset is like Patton swearing, not right."

He smiled at me, that's better.

I feel weird when he smiles at me...

"Yea you got it! If he forgets again just chop his dick off."

Emilie giggles. Damn he has a cute laugh.
