The Fear has Gripped Me but here I Go

Her outfit caught him off gaurd. The fishnets and black boots, the muave colored tank top and leather jacket with jean skirt to go with it made him stunned a bit. She seemed so awkward and shy yet here she was dressed like...something else. He blushed the second she spoke up. "Yew ready to prove me wrong then?"
He blinked. "Sorry whot?"
"Are we going or aren't we?"
"Um yeh..."
He walked her out to the car. He by then managed to shake off the huge blush. He opened the door for her to her surprise.

Murdoc Niccals was being actually chivalric. She smirked as she sat down and fixed her make up a bit. Murdoc subtly watched. He wouldn't be able to start the car yet unless he wanted to take her eye out. He was mesmerized by her. Her eyelashes were long as they fluttered gently, her lips full...and red. He blushed to himself as he tried to avert his eyes. He couldn't.

She caught wind of this as she put away everything. She yawned and stretched. "Well? We going?" She asked not trying to attract attention to the scene that played previously. He nodded. "Um sure." He said. He turned his key and drove off to a more...cheaper part of town if anything. There were more hookers here then there were during the day, cars blaring rap music drove past clearly on the way to the same place as the two in the car, guns shot in the background, police car sirens were everywhere, and the buildings looked like they were falling apart. However those buildings were about the same as the one Murdoc had lived in.

Paula shivered as some men on the street winked at her while some grinned in a way somehow more chilling then that of Murdoc's own twisted smile. Murdoc snickered at her blushing face as she noticed a shit ton of birds were blowing kisses and a few even flashed their breasts. Paula blushed. "F-friends of yours?" Murdoc snickered. "Of sorts." Paula blushed and looked at her lap. Murdoc stopped his smile and felt a sort of urge to speak of something that wouldn't be awkward. "I'm just messing with ya." She sat there quietly. "Um...were you really?" Then there was a pause. "Okay maybe not...."

The two laughed a little something that lead into a hysterical fit. At one point even forgetting the topic of what made them laugh in the first place. Soon the car stopped as they arrived. Paula jumped a bit as they did so. Murdoc was already opening the door for her. She walked out honestly feeling like P!nk at the Grammies. He was like her...oh what was his name...? She snapped out of thought as he took her hand as they walked around.

"I was thinking we could watch the first race before we joined in."Murdoc said. Paula blushed. "Join...?" He nodded. "Mhm. It'll be fun. Last I was here these guys were wimps." Paula blinked. "I don't know if I can handle that..." She admitted honestly. Murdoc chuckled. "It's no biggie, I promise." As he said that a car sped off a few feet away at the start of the race. Paula shook a little as she reached in her purse for her pills to calm her nerves, she popped one in and let out a low sigh of releif.

The people around them cheered loudly as their bloody rap music blared. Murdoc's eye twitched at the obnoxious sounds as they vanished further from the crouds and more towards a better view. The blurring lights of the cars, the loud deafening roar of the engines, Satan he loved the place...except for that blasted music. He hated the modern age of music. He couldn't wait for the day that he would show up with a better genre. His own genre. A new age of music entirely. It was going to be beautiful.

The race ended sooner then Paula had expected. Then again it was a race. "Ready?" Murdoc asked. Paula gulped. "Yeah sure." He offered his hand as she took it reluctantly, walking back acrossed the parking area and into some warehouse. The lighting was fairly low in the room. Quite a bit of people were in the room as some walked out of the area while some drove out. As Murdoc went in through a garage door he toted Paula along.

Paula blinked as her eyes struggled to adjust through the yellow tinted shades given to her by Murdoc. Over time she could make shapes with her eyes as she saw it. An army colored car with a white star in a circle painted on front. The wheels gave it height as the hub caps seemed to glisten in the light. "Whaddya think? Cost me more than a space shuttle..." She nearly fell over. "It's beautiful..." Murdoc chuckled as she walked circles around it, her heels clicking with each step. As her back was facing him he could marvel at her well, her legs were long of course, she also seemed fashionable as hell with those fish nets. Paula looked under the hood at the machinery and the huge engine.

In that instance, her courage reached it's peak the second she laid eyes on the car.

"I'm ready!" She said smirking as she closed the hood once more and attempted to climb in. Wearing heels made that a little hard. Two hands wrapped around her waist and assisted her in as she chuckled. Clearly he was trying to get a better view of her 'posterior' but she let it slide this time as she buckled herself in. Murdoc took the wheel and cautiously left the garage giving a thumbs up to a man clearly having stolen the truck back for him. Paula was more concerned with how amazing the Geep had looked. Secretly, she was a huge nerd for mechanics. Murdoc snickered at how in awe she was as he licked his lips excitedly, the race began to start as they drove to the starting line.
