It was safe to say that all the other Mikaelson siblings were surprised to see their older brother acting so differently than the last time they had seen him. They could all see that he didn't seem so hostile, he was happier than they had ever seen him before.

Rebekah had been the first to notice the way his eyes would almost subconsciously flick to the Bennett witch and the way his mouth would slightly quirk up in a half smile at things the pink haired Bennett witch would say, and it made the blonde smile to herself.

Henry noticed his sister's look and grinned at her, then he leaned over and whispered to her making sure that Rebekah is the only one to hear what he says this time, "I've watched this happen, for weeks, and yet they are both so oblivious to the other's feelings... you do see it right?"

Rebekah gave her baby brother a nod, "yeah, I see it."

The youngest Mikaelson makes a motion with his hands and huffed, "it's so obvious to everyone but them."

Kol popped his head between the two, "what are we whispering about over here?" making them both jump since they weren't paying attention and the sudden appearance startled them. They both slapped him in the shoulder for scaring them.

Rebekah smirked at him and discreetly motion to Finn and Lily who were surprisingly talking to Hayley and Elijah while Klaus was just kind of observing, the hybrid was still wary about his oldest brother, she kept her voice quiet not wanting to alert the others of what they were talking about "you see it too right?"

Kol smirked hearing his sister's words, "what, Finn and the fiery little Bennett witch? Oh, yeah, I see it."

Henrik gave his brother a look "god pretty sure anyone with eyes can see it... which is what I was telling Bex, they don't see it, but it's like could they be any more obvious?"

When the other Mikaelson's left, Henrik had decided to go to New Orleans with them but of course, he promised Lily that he would be back, he said he couldn't leave his best friend hanging like that, she understood he wanted to spend time with the rest of his siblings, who had only just learned that he was alive. Finn for obvious reasons decided to stay with Lily.

The Bennett witch turned to the Original with a grin, "see, I told you it wouldn't be that bad."

He smiled at her, "I'll admit that it went better than I expected it to."

She grinned at him, "well, you should listen to me more often... I am right most of the time."

He playfully shoved her shoulder, "oh shush Lil." She, like the mature adult she is, stuck her tongue out at him.

"I'm gonna miss the kid while he's in NOLA, though... don't you dare tell him I said that."

Finn gave her a teasing smile, "oh, just for that, I might just tell him you said that." Lily rolled her eyes at him and just gave him a look, with a overdramatic sigh, making him laugh, which in turn made Lily crack a smile and start laughing as well.

Lily sighed, she had left a note for Finn and Henry who have both been staying with her saying she had some witch business to attend to and that she would be back later.

So there she sat 4 hours later in a booth in the back corner of a Café in Manhattan waiting for her contact and best friend to show up... the Bennett witch knew that if anyone could find the information she wanted, it would be her.

"Hey, Lils!" Lily smiled, standing up and hugging the girl, "oh it's so good to see you!!! How's Mystic Falls?"

The two pulled away from the hug and sat back down, "it's good to see you too, Lys and well, Mystic Falls is well Mystic Falls, and that alone should be enough for you to answer that question."

Lys laughed, "fair enough Lils... God, I need to visit that place, so what is it? I know this isn't a social call, or you would have just swung by the apartment, not requested to meet in our official meeting spot."

Lily smiled at her again "well you can always crash with me when you decide to make this visit, and you know I love you Lys, and you're my best friend, but you are the go-to person for supernatural information you have your finger in everyone's pots or is pie? However, the saying goes, even if they don't know it."

Lys nodded at the Bennett witch in agreement, "That is very true, what or who are you looking for information on?"

Lily got straight to it "I'm looking for information on a witch... her name is Freya Mikaelson, I know it's a long shot that she could still be alive but from what I know about the woman who took her when she was a child is that Dahlia was power-hungry-"

Lys cut her off, hearing the name, Lys recognized it "Dahlia you said? I met a witch named that once, it was a long time ago, and she had a little blonde girl with her, the kid couldn't have been older than 10, she didn't offer up the kid's name either but if it's the same Dahlia then that was little Freya... Dahlia was looking into ways to accumulate power... she didn't know who I was and for obvious reasons, I didn't offer up the information either, but she was powerful. I could feel her magic, and I've only felt magic that was stronger than hers from two people in my life, my brother and Qetsiyah... but thinking back I do remember hearing whispers about a very old spell that could grant the caster and whoever was attached to the spell immortality, but I'll have to do some digging for some more concrete information all I can remember off the top of my head is the whispers about it but not anything about the spell itself, so I'll look into it, and I'll call you when I find something."

Lily grinned at her, she knew that she could count in Lys. "Thank you, Lys, I'm looking into this as a favor, even if he doesn't know it yet."

Lys sat forward in her seat giving the Bennett witch a 'tell me more' grin, "ooooh Lils who is he?"

The Bennett witch couldn't help but chuckle as she shook her head, "Freya's brother, Finn Mikaelson to be more specific about it... he misses her I can see it in the way he talks about her and I can't help it when it comes to him but to want to do everything in my power to make him happy, to see him smile."

Lys squealed quietly, "oh my god Lils you're in love with him, and I'll bet that you two are the cutest together... I am so happy for you Lils, I will get right to work as soon as I get home, and I'll have your information as soon as I can."

Lily smiled at her "I can't even deny it Lys I do love him, I've got it bad... it caught me on the chin you know I wasn't expecting to fall for him, hell I wasn't expecting to even meet him... and then I met him, but it wasn't like a typical meeting though he was kinda a spirit..."

Lily trailed off and Lys gave her a look, "Lils... you didn't."

Lily gave her a sheepish nod, "I did... I fell for him while he was a spirit and then after my revelation was when I finally decided that I was going to bring him back to life, I had been thinking about it before but that revelation just cemented the decision... I borrowed one of Rowena's spells and boom we had a resurrected Original, but the thing is he doesn't know how I feel about him yet... I guess you could say I'm scared to tell him because I don't want to put myself out there, and then he doesn't feel the same way about me."

Lys smiled at her best friend, "oh Lils tell him... he would be stupid not to return your feelings, and I'll come and rock his shit if he doesn't he won't know which way is up when I'm through... nobody breaks my best friend's heart and gets away with it."

Lily smiled at the Immortal, "this is one of the reasons that I love you, Lys you've always got my back and I will always have yours."

The two hugged after exiting the Café, "I'll be in touch soon, Lils."

"Alright, Lys I'll talk to you soon." Then the two went their separate ways, Lys headed back to her apartment and Lily headed to her car on her way back to Mystic Falls.

Lily had just gotten home from her little trip, and she walked into the house and made her way into the kitchen to find both Henry (who had come back to Mystic Falls after spending a few weeks in New Orleans) and Finn there, Finn was the one that looked at her "How was your witch business, Lil?"

She grinned at him "good, and no I'm not going to tell you what it was about, just, yet I want to wait until my contact has more information before I tell anyone what it is that I'm looking into, I don't want to get anyone's hopes up by speaking too soon without enough definitive answers, but I promise that you are going to love it when I do have enough information to tell you about it"

The Original just nodded at her, "okay." He knew by now that he would not get a straight answer out of her on the subject at that moment, so he knew better than to even try.

Honestly, this is pretty much AU at this point anyway so I figure why not have Lily find Freya and figure out a way to break her link with Dahlia XD.
