We see Michael inside a locker room as he was preparing for something. You see, he'll be attending a Ring of Honor Pay-Per View called Best in the the World that will begin soon at Lowell, Massachusetts. He's scheduled to face Christopher Daniels for the Ring of Honor World Championship.

However, as you know, Michael is not gonna be himself. He's instead going to be his gimmick character, Hardline. A wrestler known for being very serious and his dislike of flashy, high flying moves. Michael's been in this gimmick for three years now and he's going to to face Daniel for the Title.

Soon, Michael's ready as he looks at the mirror in front of him before putting on the mask.

Michael nods as he goes to prepare for the show.

*somewhere else*

We go to bank in Boston as the people do their day, without any problems. Suddenly, gunshots where heard as everyone got down. Soon, a group of men in body armor and rifles come in and fired around the building. The demanded everyone stay down as the threaten to kill anyone that moves.

They demand their bags to be full as the bank workers quickly went to open the safe. Soon, several police cars arrive as the officers surround the bank. However, they were not alone as someone stood on top of another building, looking at the bank.

*later*

Best of the Worlds occurs as the main event is about to begin. ROH World Champion, Christopher Daniels is in the ring, waiting for his opponent to arrive. The crowd was chanting for Hardline to come out and start the match.

Backstage, Michael is seen behind the curtain looking with some nervousness until he composed himself. He's a little nervous as he hasn't won a world title in his three years, only going after Mid Card and Tag Titles. However, after beating Cody Rhodes for the #1 Contendership, he's eager to win his first World Title.

Soon, he face goes serious as he's now confident for his match.

He puts his mask on, transforms into Hardline, and waits for his theme to play.

The crowd pops as Hardline comes out and looks around. Christopher Daniels stares at him as Unbreakable One makes his way to the ring. He soon enters the ring and poses to the crowd.

The crowd cheers as both men stared at each other while the ring announcer prepares the Championship Match.

*later*

We see the robbers pointing their guns at the hostages while threatening them that they'll shoot them if they don't comply to their demands. The hostages stayed silent while scared while others hold each other's hands, hoping for someone to save them.

Luckily for them...their wish...

Was granted.

The robbers stepped back as Wonder Woman burst through the doors. Everyone stares at her in shock while the Hostages are relieved that she is here to save them.

WW stares at the robbers in anger, enraged that they threaten and attempt to harm innocent people for selfish gains. Soon, some robbers aimed their guns at her as she gets ready for a fight.

*later*

The bell rings as Christopher Daniels and Hardline get ready for a match.

*montage song plays*

Both men got into a collar-elbow tie-up, but Hardline drops Daniels into a Hip Toss.

Daniels gets up but gets punched back down by Hardline.

*With Wonder Woman*

Several robbers started shooting at her. Wonder Woman can barely notice them as they're too slow for her. She then sprang into action and backhands one guy before sending to others flying.

*with Michael*

Christopher starts nailing several strikes at Hardline. Hardline gives him a headbutt before hitting a Irish Whip. Daniels counters with a kick and went for Jumping Clothesline, but Hardline caught with a German Suplex.

*with Diana*

Diana glares at the robbers and punches another away. One tries to shoot her but she deflects his bullets with her bracelets.

*with Michael*

Daniels managed to stun Hardline and hits an Irish Whip into the corner, sending Hardline out of the ring. (Imagine Triple H's Corner Bump)

Daniels goes outside and rains down strikes at Hardline. He went for a Whip to the Barricade, but Hardline counters, sends him to the barricade before hitting a lariat.

*with Diana*

Diana charges and Leg Sweeps the man, sending him flying to the wall. She gets up as she whips her hair like a badass.

*with Michael*

Hardline went for a Neckbreaker but Christopher counters with a Last Rites. Chris then picks him up for the Angel Wings, but Hardline counters and hits a Spinebuster and does a taunt to the crowd.

*with Diana*

Diana charges at another and sends him against the wall, before taking his gun and throws it at another. She blocks some bullets before kicking the other robber, as he took out another that was in his way against the wall.

*with Michael*

Hardline starts laying into Daniels with several punches. Chris tries to fight back, but Hardline was quick to block his strikes and punches him down.

*with Diana*

Diana goes after one of the last guys and punches him, caught him before he crashes into the hostages, and tosses him against the Wall.

She then stops as one robber, the leader, grabbed a young child and held him at gun point. The child is scared as everyone screamed in fright.

(Songs stops)

Leader: Move and I'll shoot this kid, bitch!

Diana glares at him, but didn't move, trying to think of how to save the kid with the gun being to close to their head.

*with Michael*

Hardline went for a Big Boot, but Daniels caught him and hits the Angel Wings. He then goes for the cover. Hardline kicks out but Christopher starts grabbing his head and tries to remove the mask. Hardline tries to get him to let go of him but Daniels persists.

Christopher: Come on, Freak! Let's see who's behind the mask!

Hardline grunts until he slowly gets up and hits a Jawbreaker, stunning Daniels. He then hits a Big Boot, sending Daniels down.

Hardline removes his coat as he sets up for his finisher.

*with Diana*

After a few seconds, Diana brings out her Lasso of Truth and launches it at the leader's hand that had the gun, pulling it away from the kid. The man froze in shock as the kid breaks free and goes to the others.

Diana then pulls him towards her...

*with Michael*

Hardline grabs Daniels and hits...

*both*

Ref: 1, 2, 3!

The rings and the crowd went crazy.

Announcer: Here is your winner, and the New Ring of Honor World Champion, the Unbreakable One, HAAAAAAARDLINE!

*with Diana*

Diana smiles as the hostages cheered and thanked her for saving her. She gave a wave before flying off, as Police arrive to arrest the still living robbers.

*with Michael*

Hardline gets up and the ref passes him the title. He looks at it before bringing it up while the ref brings up his other arm in victory.

*sometime later*

The media was buzzing over Hardline winning the ROH World Title as well as Wonder Woman saving hostages from a bank robbery. Both events happened at the same time which is a very big coincidence. Many praise Wonder Woman for saving the day and many congratulated Hardline for winning his first World Title.

*airport*

We see Diana boarding a plane as puts her stuff away. She sat down and sighs as she begins to read a book. Suddenly, she hears someone arriving as they put their stuff away, and spoke to her.

?: Hey, you mind sitting next to you?

Diana recognized that voice.

Diana: No I don't mind.

Soon, the person sat next to her and Diana immediately recognized him.

Diana: Michael?

Michael: Diana? EY! Been a while!

Diana: Indeed. But, why are you here in Massachusetts?

Michael: Oh, uh, meeting a friend of mine who lives here.

Diana: I see.

Michael: So why are you here, Diana?

Diana: Oh just...admiring the sights of the state.

Michael: Okay. Fancy seeing you again, Diana.

Diana: Yes. how've you been?

Michael: Doing fine. Just living life and hoping Summer would last until Next year for no school.

Diana giggled as Michael smiled.

Michael: And you?

Diana: Having a bless day, thanks to the Gods.

Michael: Good to hear. So, where's you going?

Diana: Probably home. And you?

Michael: Home as well.

Diana: Okay. Connecticut?

Michael: Yep. And your home?

Diana: London.

Michael: Oh. Okay. Say, have you heard of Wonder Woman saving some hostages in a bank robbery here in Masachussetts?

Diana: Yes. She's a very interesting person.

Michael: you're telling me. The fact that fight ended so quickly and no one was hurt speaks volumes on how she deals with scumbags like that.

Diana: Indeed. She's a good person from what I can tell.

Michael: Yep. And very strong. Like one punch can send you down in the depths of hell and she doesn't seem to be trying to hurt you with that punch.

Diana: Indeed. I like how she pulls her punches, so she doesn't kill them, just have them down so they can be arrested.

Michael: Me too. I mean, i don't feel bad for them, but if she wants them alive to be arrest, then that's fine.

Diana: Mmhmm. Honestly, I'm happy to see you again, Michael. And I'm glad you're doing well.

Michael: Thanks. Glad to see you and that you're doing well, too, Diana. Hey, at this point, we might be considered travel buddies if this becomes a thing.

Diana: *chuckles* Yes, indeed. Oh, looks like our flight begins.

Michael: Yep.

The two chatted some more as the plane takes off.

*later*

It was night time as Diana is seen watching the night sky, while Michael is seen sleeping beside her. As she goes to sleep, she sees Michael trying to get in a comfortable position while he's asleep. Diana felt bad and decided to thank him for giving his jacket to her and brought him closer to her and rest his head against her shoulder as her has her arm around his neck.

Michael felt comfortable as he slept soundly. Diana smiles as she rests her head against his head and goes to sleep.

*later*

Diana wakes up then realizes she has a her head against Michael's shoulder. She looks up and sees him smiling down at her.

Michael: Morning.

Diana: *smiles* Good Morning, Michael. I thought you'd be gone by now.

Michael: Yeah...but I felt I shouldn't leave you here by yourself.

Diana: Aww, that sweet of you. You didn't have to, but I appreciate it.

Michael nods as both got up and grabbed their stuff. They then exited the plane and went to the lobby.

Michael: You're hungry? My treat.

Diana: No. I'm fine. Thank you, though.

Michael: Okay. Well, best be on my way. Take care Diana.

Diana: I will. Take care of yourself as well, Michael.

Michael smiles as he walks off. Diana watches him leave and just smiles.

Diana: He's an interesting young man. He reminds he of Steve.

Diana walks off.

*Somewhere else*

We see a crystal ball showing the sight of Diana walking away. Soon, someone spoke with a feminine voice, but with a growling type of speech.

?: So...this is how you lived your life, huh? Hiding in the mortal realm, appearing as a Superhero? Well...I'm going to make it miserable.

We see a figure walking around the crystal ball as it stares at Diana.

?: It has been a hundred years since you slaughtered our lord. Now, we will exact his revenge by massacring you and the rest of the Amazons. However...we will wait for the right time. Yet...

The ball disperses then shows the image of Michael meeting his friends as they cheered and celebrated his victory at ROH.

?: You have such an interest with this mortal. Honestly...*giggles evily* I can use him against you. Take him away from you like that the other mortal you fell for during you battle with Ares. Only, you get watch him leave you as you perish. A well deserved fate for you, Amazon skank.

The image of Michael was zoomed as the woman laughs.

?: Be seeing you, mortal. You will be useful in the demise of the Amazon Princess.
