Jonathan likes to use his powers to fuck with people. By people, he mainly means Luke.
Luke is currently sitting on the ground, looking like a cat that was shoved into a pool. He growls, like legitimately growls, and steam begins to rise off of him. “You're a bully,” he hisses. “There's a reason nobody loves you.”
Jonathan grins and dodges the fireball that flies towards him. “That's okay! I'll find someone-”
Evan is suddenly standing there by a tree, Craig and Smitty besides him. Jonathan laughs and waves. “Hey guys! How’s it going?”
Evan's face is very red, Jonathan notices. Is he okay, is he sick, is he just feeling blushy today? Jonathan doesn't know how to feel. His confusion only increases as Evan is pushed towards him.
“Evan has something to ask you,” Smitty announces. “It's important, trust me.”
Jonathan nods calmly, then looks towards Evan curiously. “Yeah? What is it?”
“Uh…. I… I, um, I kinda- Just, you know…” Evan's voice trails off as he laughs awkwardly, staring down at the ground. His face was red before, but Evan could probably pass as a tomato now.
“Evan, come on,” he whines. “You don't gotta be all shy. Come on, ask me!”
Evan looks up at him, and shrugs his shoulders. “I just… uh…. Do you, you know, wanna maybe go out on Friday? You and me.”
Craig and Smitty squeal and cheer loudly, Luke starts clapping, and suddenly Jonathan is more confused than before. He shrugs it off and grins. “Yeah! Where we going, huh? You gonna take me out on a fancy date, Evan?”
“Well… Actually, um, yes,” Evan says quietly.
It is now Jonathan's turn to blush. He hadn't been expecting that. “Oh.”
There was a moment of silence, during which Jonathan processes everything Evan's said. When it all finally clicks in his head, he finds himself grinning. A date with Evan Fong didn't sound bad at all. Without thinking, Jonathan leans over and kisses Evan quickly. He pulls away and snickers at the stunned look on Evan's face.
“Bye Evan! See you Friday!”
There was no response from Evan, though that doesn't surprise him at all. After all, a kiss was probably far from what he had expected. But hey, what else was he supposed to do?
It's not every day Jonathan gets to kiss a pretty guy like Evan. Might as well kiss him while he's got the chance.

“Hey… Bryce?”
Bryce looks up at Jonathan, looking away from his homework for the first time in about three hours. “Yeah? What's wrong Delirious?”
“What do you wear on a date?
“Uh…. I don't know,” Bryce admits. “Why do you ask?”
Jonathan laughs. “Because I have a date in, like, an hour and I haven't gotten out of bed at all today. Luke said he would help me get dressed up nicely, but….”
“He isn't here,” Bryce finishes with a giggle. He gets off of Jonathan's bed and goes over to Jon's closet. He looks it over before shrugging and pulling out a dark blue shirt. “This one looks nice. It's clean, too.”
Jon crosses his arms and grins at Bryce. “Yeah, it is. Why do you sound so surprised, huh? Give me the damn shirt Bryce!”
The two go on like this for a bit, laughing and joking about how neither of them knew what to wear to a date. Bryce knew little more than Jonathan did though, for neither of them had ever actually been on a date before.
Eventually, they settle on a plain blue shirt, the same color as his hoodie. He changes into it, along with a nicer pair of jeans. Jonathan looks in the mirror, before shrugging. “I think I look present-”
There's a bouquet of flowers being set in front of him. Jonathan looks over at Bryce curiously, and nearly screams when he sees Bryce has covered the entire floor in various types of flowers.
Bryce catches his gaze and blushes. He kicks some of the flowers into a pile. “Sorry,” he whispers. “I, um…. I just- I just wanted you to have flowers. You know, for your date. Except I don't know Evan very well, or what kind of flowers he would like….”
Jonathan grins and grabs the ones on the counter, and a few particularly pretty ones from the floor. “I'm gonna take these. Thanks Bryce!”
Jonathan takes his things and runs out the room. He has a date with Evan in about ten minutes now, and he would be damned if he was late. Delirious is never late to a first date!
-
“How about this shirt?” Craig holds up a red button-up shirt with a grin. “Red suits you Evan!”
“Uh, how about fuck no?! That shirt makes him look like a fuckboy! Evan, Evan, come here. Put this on,” Tyler says, tossing a black cat t-shirt at Evan.
Evan catches the shirt and is about to put it on when someone snatches it out of his hand. Smitty pushes another shirt into his hand, this one also black but with a picture of an owl on it.
“What the fuck is that?! He's already got enough owl aesthetic on him, Smitty! Don't do Evan like this! Give me that ugly shit!” Craig pulls the owl shirt out of Evan's hand, and Smitty tries to give it back to Evan. The two of them begin to fight, arguing whether the red shirt or owl shirt was better.
Evan begins to back away as the fight starts to get physical, the two of them slapping each other with Evan's clothing.
“You and your shitty Instagram fashion can go fuck off!”
“Oh shut up, healer boy! At least my dick didn't get me called Mini Ladd!”
Craig gives an offended gasp, a hand going to his chest as if Smitty hurt him. He then puffs up his chest, getting right up into Smitty’s face. “Shut the fuck up Smitty! At least my dick is bigger than yours!”
“Come on, Mini! You wanna fucking go?! I'll beat your ass so bad you won't be able to heal it!” Smitty is pulling off his favorite red and blue glasses now and cracking his knuckles.
Craig scoffs and begins to pull his shirt off. “Yeah, right. You already look like you're about to die with the white dyed hair! I'll kill you with this shirt and then-”
“I'M INVISIBLE, BITCH! CAN'T EVEN SEE ME!” Smitty is now fully invisible, laughing maniacally.
Evan turns to Tyler for help. It's no use, though, because Tyler is now standing on a chair cheering them on. He groans and turns back to his closet, now knowing that there is no hope.
He's saved by someone pulling him out of the room, clothes being pushed into his hands. Looking up at his savior, he is surprised to find Luke standing in front of him with a grin.
“You go get changed somewhere safe. I'll take care of these fighting bastards, alright Ev? Make sure Jonny takes good care of you, make sure he's a gentleman, and remember- if he breaks your heart you tell me and I'll burn some manners into his tiny lil’ brain.”
Evan nods, thankful, and runs off to get dressed. Luke gave him a plain black shirt, his favorite red and white jacket, and some jeans. He changes, then spreads his wings and goes to where he told Jonathan to meet him.
It's not much of a spot (just some really tall hill), but it has a great view of the forest and all that other good stuff. This is why Evan chose it for a first date.
He had talked Brock and Brian into helping him prepare some kind of picnic for them to take up here. Though it had been quite an effort, they had put together something and it was now all packed neatly into a little basket.
And now that he was here, on the hill, waiting for Jonathan, Evan is starting to feel nervous.
He wasn't sure how long he waited up there, and frankly, he's starting to worry that Jon won't come at all.
Thankfully, Evan doesn't have to worry much longer. Jonathan comes running up the hill about five minutes later, screeching apologies for being late.
In the midst of his apologies, he whips out a bunch of flowers out of nowhere and shoves them in Evan's face with a grin.
“These are for you,” he whispers breathlessly. “And I'm sorry I'm late. Ev- even if I've said it like twenty times. I'm sorry.”
Evan blushes at the gesture, taking the flowers out of his hand. “Oh, uh… thanks! You didn't have to, you know.”
The flowers are in all kinds of shapes and sizes, Evan's favorite being this little red one. It isn't a rose, though, so Evan has no idea what it is. The only kind of flower he knows is rose. Didn't really matter what kind of flower it was, though. Evan felt flattered that Jonathan took the time to get these flowers, however he did.
“Uh… is that basket over there supposed to be ours?” Jonathan's voice distracts him.
Evan doesn't look up from the flowers, still distracted by them. “Yeah… why do you ask? There's food in there for us.”
“It's moving,” Jonathan whispers quietly.
“What?” Evan looks over at the picnic basket and, sure enough, it's shaking back and forth as if something is inside of it.
He freezes up as something begins to scratch the inside of it. Jonathan glances at Evan, then grins, pushes him back a little, and steps in front of Evan protectively.
“Don't worry! Delirious is a damn gentleman, I'll fight the basket for you!”
Before Evan can try to explain that maybe this wasn't the best idea in the world, Jonathan runs up to the basket and pushes it over with a cry of “FUCK OFF DEMON BASKET!”
Almost immediately, an animal launches out of the basket and up at Jonathan's face. He screeches, as does the animal, and then yanks the furry guy off his face. Jonathan glares down at the animal now sitting back on the basket.
A raccoon, small and grey and fluffy, glares back up at Jonathan, who now has little raccoon scratches all over his face.
Evan tries not to laugh at this. They look kinda alike when they're both pouting and glaring at each other like this, even if they didn't realize it.
The raccoon backs up slowly, snatches a sandwich or two, and makes a run for it. Jonathan is yelling and cursing at the critter as he runs off into the forest, and the little guy seems to be chittering back at him.
Evan decides to step in, wrapping his wings and arms around Jonathan tightly. “Hey, hey. Come on. We don't need the food. Let's… let's go fix up your face.”
Jonathan shakes his head. “I don't wanna, I wanna spend some time with you. You wanna go for a walk? Watch the sunset?”
Evan blushes at this. He hadn't quite been expecting Jonathan to be so insistent on spending time with him. He finds himself frowning, lightly tracing a hand over the scratches on Jon's cheek.
Jonathan pulls his hand away and grins. “Come on, don't be so worried! It's our date, we gotta go do something together, man! Come on, come on, let's go find something romantic to do! Trust me, I'm a love expert!”
Evan is suddenly picked up in Jonathan's arms, wings and all. He quickly latches onto Jonathan's body, bouncing in his arms as Jonathan runs down the hill carelessly. The flowers and picnic basket are long forgotten as Evan is swept away in the arms of his date (and maybe future husband).
