ZENDAYA TALKS EX-BOYFRIENDS, DUNE, AND SEXUAL FLUIDITY

Interviewer: So, Zendaya, you get to
star in Dune with Timothee Chalamet
coming out later this year, what was
that like? This is gonna be the first time
you kind of dip your toe into sci-fi!

Zendaya: Yeah! It was actually really
fun working with Timothee as well as
Oscar Isaac and overall just an amazing
cast! I'm super excited for the film and I
love breaking my type cast of the token
teenage black girl in everything so it was
nice! Not that I don't love playing MJ or Rue,
of course!

Int: Well, we're all excited
to see it! Speaking of Rue Bennett,
Euphoria season two posted some
pics of your first table read, what
was that like?

Zen: It was amazing, it felt like
coming home, honestly. We're all
super excited for season two and it's
gonna be great and I think we're working
on some really cool stuff for the new
season!

Int: I've been like counting down
the days to season two and we don't
even have a release date for it! I know
I'm definitely not alone in that, but what
is it like and forgive me for asking, working
with Jacob Elordi again? It's rumored you
two have split ways? Is there any bad
blood there?

Zen: No, no definitely not! Uh,
no I could never have a bad word
to say about Jacob he's a great guy,
but not every couple is built to last
and that's okay. I look forward to
working with him again!

Int: That's great! Glad to know
things are good with you two!
Now, I'm totally obligated to ask,
but any new boys on the horizon?

Zen: No, I'm definitely chilling
out romance-wise, I've been crazy
busy lately so it's kind of taken a backseat!
I'm not actively looking for anything,
but I'll be honest you probably won't see a
boyfriend in the near future at all.

Int: Can I ask why that is?
Just busy with your career... or?

Zen: My career is a part of it,
but I also have been wanting to
explore my bisexuality more publicly
and stop hiding any girlfriends I have
from the public because I'm a grown
woman who likes women and I'm ready
to come out with that!

Int: Wow! Not what I expected,
but you have always been full of
great surprises! So, is it time for us
to meet a girlfriend of yours?

Zen: Eh, my career is still first
in my mind but who's to say?

Int: Well, you guys heard it here
first! Zendaya has one foot on the
market, one on her career! I'm
glad we had a chance to catch up
here at Teen Vogue and we look
forward to seeing more from you!
