Jae could say that the last few days have been, interesting.

Fido seemed to change from emotionless to angry.

She didn't really know why. At first Jae thought it was his teenage hormones raging and he was going through the mood swings. But the looks of anger and confusion were directed towards her almost all the time. It wasn't like he was scorning her, the looks were a mix. Fido was trying to figure out Jae, trying to find out what her character was. Jae for some reason thought of Prince. The two were alike, something she would never say to the two, they both thought everyone in the world was like the people from All From Heaven. She knew she had Fido's trust, since he did feed her and give her water when she was asleep. But, she could now see that he was confused by his actions. He did probably trust Jae, it's just that he doesn't understand the feeling.

“Fido, don't sit so close to the television. You'll ruin his eyes.”

The 'pet' merely scoots back an inch.

Jae rolls her eyes and walks up to Fido. She puts her arms under his and pulls him back a few feet. Only to have him scoot back close to the television. Her eye twitches in irritation. Sometimes he really was a brat. Jae walks up to the television this time turns it off. Fido finally prys his eyes away from the electronic to look up to Jae. She swore she saw a small pout on his dead-looking face.

Don't make me kill you.

“You've been saying that for the last few days, it doesn't work.”

She walks past him and ruffles his hair a little before beginning to walk up the stairs.

“It's time to go to sleep, you better be in bed before twelve. Tomorrow is your last day here.”

Not a fuckin' kid.

For some reason, knowing he is leaving hurt him a bit. Fido starts to kneed the left side of his chest with a slight glare, not understanding

Jae ignores the comment and gets herself ready for bed too. She was upset Fido was leaving, mostly because she wasn't able to understand him more. The teen was still a mystery, his blank stare only confused her more. Usually she was given a month at most with the pets, but she only got a week and a half with Fido. Since she nearly died, Hopper didn't trust her with the 'pet'.

She settles herself down in her bed, thoughts still swarming about Fido. Maybe she should ask for a few more days? Hopper would maybe understand, after all it is the last pet. Jae sighs and stands up from her bed with a frown. She gets up and walks out her room to Fido's.

Jae gently opens the door and peaks inside. Inside she could see that he listened to her and was in bed with blanks over his body, expect for a head of blond hair. Jae smiles at how obedient he was become in a few days. She walks inside and sits herself down on his bed, it looked like he was asleep. She laughs under her breath at the way he was sleeping. Fido's mouth was open and there was already a trail of drool coming out the side and onto his pillow. His body was curled up with knees up to his chest and his hands were folded in a prayer style under his head for support.

Jae smiles and begins to comb her hand through his hair. In a few seconds Fido turns his head swiftly and bits onto Jae's hand. She stops her actions and raises an eyebrow at him as he keeps his teeth on her hand.

“Um, could you let go?”

Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom.

He says while still keeping his teeth around her hand.

Alright, sometimes his immaturity annoyed her.

Jae moves her hand with time to pull out of his grip, but he pushes his teeth down on his hand harder making Jae flinch. A frown comes on her face, she then goes to flick his nose. Making Fido let go and raise an eyebrow at her bad.

“Bad.” Jae says with a small laugh at the nostalgic act.

Fido furrows his eyes, not getting her giddy mood at all. He just sighs and rolls over in the bed to face away from her.

Jae smiles, this time a little sad, while looking down at him. She really wish there would be a few more days. She decides Fido needs his rest and stands up, only to feel his hand grip her wrist. Jae looks behind to see him looking at her with his emotionless eyes.

Stay

Jae raises an eyebrow at him.

Please

She bites her bottom lip, trying to think of whether or not to stay. She sighs and sits on the bed next to him with her back to the headboard. Well, she doesn't feel like she is under his control or anything. So it must be alright.

Jae jumps a bit as she feels Fido move next to her. She looks down to see him lay his head almost on top of her lap with his mouth slightly open again. It really did make her want a few more days to understand him better.

Owner

“Yeah?”

Then he did something unexpected.

The 'pet' pokes the side of her breast, making Jae's face flush and for her head to snap down at him with wide eyes. Fido looked impassive, as if he didn't do anything even though his finger was still next to her boob.

Owner has huge tits.

Jae still stands with frown, slightly in fluster.

“I'm leaving!”

Fido's eyes widen as she stands up and immediately reaches out to grab the back of her clothes.

W-W-Wait!

Jae feels his hands grip the back of her pajamas and looks back to see his head lowered to the ground.

I-I'm sorry, just don't leave.

She looks him up and down, seeing if he was really sincere. Well, she didn't hear any of his usual sarcasm. And his head was down to the ground like he was ashamed a little of his actions before. Jae sighs and turns around while taking his hands in hers. She pushes him a little back into the bed and back into her position of sitting on the bed. Fido also goes back to his position with his head slightly in her lap. There was a slight silence between them before she heard Fido's voice.

I don't understand anything.

Jae chuckles a little at him, “How do you think I feel? Finding out you're a hypnotists a few days ago.”

She hears him hum a little.

My situations more confusing.

Jae was tempted to say it's just because he's a confused teenager.

“Alright, how is your situation more confusing then mine?”

There was another pause between them, she could tell Fido was trying to gather his thoughts.

All of us were raised to kill. Nothing else came into our minds expect how we were going to take down the next living thing that would pass by. Taught not to feel anything else.

He looks up to Jae this time.

It's hard to break our steel hearts. And change us.

Jae looks him in the eyes. Fido immediately looks away. He isn't used to this, people looking at him directly in the eyes. Even Amadeus, Severus, and Price would threaten him with death if he ever made eye contact. It made him uncomfortable. And if he was looking at someone in the eyes, he would be working hard to put them under his hypnosis.

“I'm not trying to change you guys.”

Fido looks back at her only to come into eye contact again. This time he didn't look away. For some reason he didn't feel awkward. Looking at Jae's eyes made him feel accepted, warm, and most importantly-.

-Loved.

“I'm trying to make you understand violence isn't always the answer. And that if you put down your weapons, you'll realize there's so much in life you're scaring away. Also possibly killing.” She murmurs the last part.

Owner, you're scaring me.

Her face twitches in irritation and she looks down at him with a slight frown.

“Glad my words of comforting touched your heart.” Great, his sarcasm is effecting her. “Hey, go to sleep.”

Jae moves around a bit to get comfortable and lays her head more on the headboard.

It was thirty minutes before Jae fell asleep. Fido was still awake though. Once he knew she was knocked out he looks up at her with impassive eyes. The blond continues to look for a while before getting out of the covers a bit. He sits up until he is face-to-face with Jae, the teen looks her up and down before pecking her lips slightly. Fido pulls back and brushes some hair out of her face.

You're scaring me with these feelings.

Jae wakes up in the morning with the sound of the doorbell. Her eyes shoot open as she realizes Hopper must be here. Jae gets up but feels a slight weight on her waist. She looks down to see that Fido has wrapped his arms around her and was resting his head on her body.

. . .

With a trail of drool on her pajamas.

Jae groans and quickly pushes Fido off and runs out to the corridor, making sure to yell to Hopper to wait. She changes hastily into some new clothes and puts her dirty hair in a bun. Jae then runs back out and also yells for Fido to get ready. She finally reaches the door in the end and opens it to see Hopper with a slight frown and the usual other employees around him.

“What took ya so long?”

Jae returns his frown. “I slept in.”

They both have a stare down for a while. Hopper mostly was doing it to make sure she wasn't in another hypnosis again. It wasn't until they heard the sound of footsteps that both look to the stairs to see Fido walking down. Jae sighs as she sees the way he put on his clothes.

The beige shirt was untucked in different places, his tie wasn't even tied, and the belt was put on inside out.

“Fido.”

She slightly scolds while walking up to him and fixing the All From Heaven uniform. Hopper looks down at them with furrowed eyes. What interested him was that it looked like Jae was talking to herself. At first he thought she gone crazy because of the 'pet', but another explanation popped in his head. Making a smile come across his face.

Jae lets out a breath of relief as she fixed up Fido's attire. She then turns back around, expecting to see Hopper's frown, but is surprised to see his usual bright smile back on. She raises an eyebrow at his now gleaming face.

“Um, something happen?”

Hopper laughs and walks up to her with a pat on the shoulder.

“I shouldn't have doubted you, Jae.”

She blinks at him, still confused.

“Wait, what?”

Hopper lets out a laugh again and walks up to Fido. He then pats the boys head with his usual smile.

“Fido talks to you. Our employees have tried forever to make him do that, since they destroyed his vocal cords. He only talks to Amadeus, Severus, and Prince. Also his victims before he kills them.” Hopper continues to laugh but it dies down to a small, pained chuckle. “May those souls rest in peace.”

. . .

Jae didn't see the importance of her accomplishment.

Hopper laughs again back to his bright one and takes out a collar to put around Fido's neck. Jae could see the boy flinch a bit at the accessory and feels her heart break.

“I've seen enough. Time to get Fido back and get him a nice home.” He begins to walk to the door with Fido behind him.

Jae watches the two and just before the door closes she hears Fido's voice again.

My home is here.

She watches as they all leave with Fido in toll. She stays outside for a while, even after they left. It took a while. But a sudden realization came upon her.

They're all gone.

I was in a good mood today :D

Mostly because Korea beat Japan in football and got the bronze medal! My house was crazy. About every relative that was Korean was over, and every goal made me flinch since my mom has a high voice. LOL. The Korean pride not to lose to Japanese fueled my family that day.

Now, can't wait to watch the Mexico vs Brazil match tomorrow! That one's going to be intense.

Next chapter is going to be kinda like a funny filler! Can't wait to type it :3
