Chapter 0: I love eating newborn babies!

It's a Sunday morning in 1995, a strange woman is making food in the safety of her kitchen. One could hear her humming and talking to herself in a cheerful tone. She seems to be preparing food for a nice family dinner.

(?): I just have to season the meat loaf
(?): Let's see... garlic, parsley, and black pepper
(?): My husband is going to love this!
(?): I put all my love into it after all.. Allllll my love

She mumbles to herself as she prepares parts of the meal. She is excited to see her husband come home from his business trip. It has been a few months since she last seen her husband so she wants to make it special. Just for him, the love of her life.

(?): Why isn't he home yet
(?): What's taking him so long..?

The strange woman starts getting finicky as she anxiously waits for her husband to come home. The clock marks half past 9. He should have arrived an hour ago. She wonders where he could be. She hasn't taken her anxiety medication today so her guts only eat into itself more and more as her fear of abandonment grew.

Her hands shake as she dial her husband's number. But no one picks up. Absolutely nobody.

9 missed calls later

(?) Why wouldn't he pick up?? What if he's.. hurt. Where is he.. Where is my husband?

The voices in her head start to get worse and worse. She wanted to lay off her meds today to enjoy every moment she gets with her husband in between his busy schedule. The medication just melts her brain and makes every moment feel the same. She doesn't want to be a zombie next to her dear husband. She wants him to love her for her truest self after all.

Her head is telling her things she doesn't want to hear. All the noises in her head only get ever more overwhelming.

"He left you Judy."

"He is gone, stop looking for you he left you he left you."

"Nobody loves you, nobody can stay with a monster like you Judy. Look what you've done."

"You made him leave you.."

Over. And over. And over. Again.

"SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR ACTIONS."

Judy: "No he isn't gone, you're all lying to me. He'll be back any second now. I just have to put the meatloaf in the oven and wait for him to come back."

Judy tries to fight her thoughts. She is a strong woman. She can do this. She finishes preparing by putting the delicious dish in the oven and turning it up.

Moments pass as the room is quiet with nothing but the noises of her troubled mind. Judy sits and waits anxiously as her mind rushes on with all kinds of paranoid thoughts. Maybe she should've listened to her doctor and taken her meds. But it's her wedding anniversary today so she isn't all dosed out. She wants to live in the moment and do the best she can.

"Waaaaaaa..."
"WAAAAHHHHH"
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

Just a lovely mother preparing a meal for her sweet husband who hasn't shown up. Nothing out of the ordinary.. So... One must wonder... Where are these crying sounds coming from?

"Wee woo wee woo wee woo."

Not only were there crying sounds but also siren sounds. The sounds get louder and louder as the police car approaches Judy's house. Judy starts getting anxious and eventually freaks out when she hears banging on the door. That is a pretty normal reaction in this type of situation. Everything seems to be in and out of order at the same time. Something strange is going on. The police screams loudly demanding to get into Judy's place. This must be serious.

Policeman: "Open the door!"

The banging gets louder as the police man eventually breaks down the door.

Policeman: "Mrs. Judy, you're under arrest for the murder of your husband."

Policeman: "I repeat."

Policeman: "Mrs. Judy, you're under arrest for the murder of your husband."

Judy: "Murder.. Husband? What are you talking about? Stop it! Let me go!"

Policeman: "You have the right to remain silent Mrs Judy. Everything you say will be used against you in court."

The police barges in as they arrest Judy and investigate the apartment. Everything was damp and dark like no one was occupying it. It was like a hoarder's hobbit on the inside. But what stood out was in the oven...There was something peculiar.

It was a crying meat loaf.

No...It was something else... Something more horrific.

It was a baby...

Judy's child...

In the place of a meatloaf..

Judy was cooking her own newborn baby.
