As I walked back to my dorm, the campus was bathed in the golden hues of the setting sun. The sky was painted with shades of pink, orange, and purple, casting a warm, ethereal glow over everything. The gentle breeze carried the faint scent of blooming flowers, and the leaves rustled softly, creating a serene symphony that seemed to quiet my turbulent thoughts.
My mind was a whirlwind of emotions, trying to process everything that had happened. Sukuna's unexpected reappearance, Nanami's arrival, and now Gojo's sudden return. It was overwhelming, and I felt a knot of tension in my chest.
Lost in thought, I didn't notice Gojo catching up to me until his familiar voice broke the silence. "Hey, troublemaker," he called out, his tone light and teasing.
I turned, my heart skipping a beat. There he was, with that ever-present smirk and those piercing blue eyes that seemed to see right through me.
"Gojo," I greeted, trying to keep my voice steady. "Back to wreak havoc, I see."
He laughed, a sound that felt oddly comforting. "You know me too well. How have you been?"
I shrugged, attempting to appear nonchalant. "Busy. Life doesn't pause just because you disappear, you know."
"True," he replied, his gaze softening as he studied me. "Everything okay?"
I avoided his eyes, not wanting to reveal how much his absence had affected me. "Just... stuff. Nothing I can't handle."
He nodded, and we continued walking in silence. The campus was quiet, the evening light casting long shadows that danced on the path ahead of us. The air between us was charged with unspoken words and unresolved tension, making every step feel heavier.
When we finally reached my dorm, he turned to face me. "Goodnight, (Y/N). Don't miss me too much," he teased, though there was a sincerity in his tone that caught me off guard.
I rolled my eyes, a faint smile tugging at my lips despite myself. "In your dreams, Gojo."
Just as I was about to turn away, he grabbed my wrist gently, pulling me back towards him. I looked up, surprised, and before I could react, his lips were on mine.
The kiss was like a spark igniting a fire within me. At first, I was too shocked to respond, but then the warmth of his lips, the intensity of his touch, melted away my hesitation. I kissed him back with equal fervor, my hands gripping the front of his shirt, pulling him closer.
The world around us seemed to disappear, leaving only the sensation of his lips against mine, the taste of him, and the heat between us. My heart pounded in my chest, my senses overwhelmed by the closeness, the electricity of the moment.
His hands cupped my face, holding me tenderly yet firmly, and I felt a rush of emotions—confusion, desire, longing—all mingling together. It was as if all the tension, all the unspoken words, were being poured into this one kiss.
As our lips moved together, I felt a surge of warmth spreading through me, a feeling of being both vulnerable and protected. It was intoxicating, a heady mix of emotions that left me breathless and wanting more.
Finally, we broke apart, both of us breathing heavily. Our foreheads rested against each other, and I looked into his eyes, seeing a reflection of my own confusion and desire.
"Gojo..." I began, my voice barely a whisper.
"Don't say anything," he interrupted, his thumb brushing over my cheek. "Just... let this be what it is."
I nodded slightly, not trusting myself to speak. He wrapped his arms around me, holding me close, and for a moment, I felt safe, like everything might be okay.
We stood there in the soft glow of the evening, the world outside forgotten. All that mattered was the feeling of being in his arms, the taste of his lips still lingering on mine, and the unspoken promise of something more between us.
After a few moments, I pulled away slightly, looking up at him with a mix of emotions.
"Goodnight, Gojo," I said softly.
"Goodnight, (Y/N)," he replied, just as softly.
As I entered my dorm, the warmth of the kiss still tingled on my lips, and I felt a strange mix of satisfaction and longing. Despite the complexities of our relationship and the chaos in my life, Gojo had a way of grounding me, of reminding me that there was more to life than just the challenges I faced.
I settled into bed, my mind replaying our conversation and that intense kiss. Despite everything, he had become a significant part of my life, whether I liked it or not.

The next day dawned bright and clear, the perfect start to a weekend. I decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and head into Tokyo for some sightseeing and grocery shopping. It had been a while since I'd taken time for myself, and I was looking forward to the day.
I took my time browsing the bustling market stalls, picking out fresh produce and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. The vendors called out their wares, and the air was filled with the mingling scents of street food. After gathering my groceries, I decided to explore some of the city's sights.
Tokyo was a city that never ceased to amaze me with its blend of modernity and tradition. I wandered through narrow alleys, discovering hidden shrines and quaint tea shops, before heading to some of the more popular tourist spots. The day was going perfectly—until I felt a familiar, unsettling presence.
Turning a corner, I suddenly found myself face-to-face with Sukuna. His eyes held a predatory gleam, and a cruel smile played on his lips. My heart sank.
"What do you want, Sukuna?" I demanded, trying to keep my voice steady.
He stepped closer, his gaze never leaving mine. "Still as feisty as ever, (Y/N). I've missed that about you."
"Cut the crap," I spat. "Why are you here?"
His smile widened, and he reached out to tuck a stray lock of hair behind my ear. "You know why I'm here. I've been thinking about you. About us."
"There is no 'us,'" I snapped, stepping back.
Sukuna's expression darkened, and he grabbed my wrist with a grip that was painfully tight. "Don't be like that, (Y/N). I still love you."
I laughed bitterly, trying to wrench my hand free. "Love? Is that what you call it? You don't know the meaning of the word."
His eyes flashed with anger, and he pulled me closer. "You think you can just walk away from me? You think you can replace me with some white-haired pretty boy?"
I froze, realizing he had seen me with Gojo. "Sukuna, let me go," I said, my voice shaking.
His grip tightened, and he leaned in close, his breath hot against my ear. "I don't think so. You belong to me, (Y/N). And if I can't have you, no one will."
Panic surged through me as Sukuna's hold became more aggressive. I struggled against him, but he was too strong. The bustling streets seemed oblivious to my plight, and I felt a wave of helplessness wash over me.
Suddenly, a voice cut through the tension. "Hey, leave her alone."
I looked up to see Gojo standing a few feet away, his expression deadly serious. Relief flooded through me, but it was quickly replaced by fear. Sukuna was dangerous, and I didn't want Gojo to get hurt because of me.
Sukuna turned to face Gojo, his grip on my wrist loosening just enough for me to pull free. "And who are you?" he sneered.
Gojo stepped forward, his eyes fixed on Sukuna. "I'm someone who doesn't appreciate bullies."
Sukuna's eyes narrowed. "I've seen you before. You're always hanging around (Y/N). What's your deal?"
"That's none of your business," Gojo replied coolly. "But what is my business is making sure she's safe. So I suggest you back off."
Sukuna's lips curled into a malicious smile. "Or what?"
Gojo didn't answer. Instead, he moved with a speed that was almost impossible to follow. One moment he was standing still, and the next he was between Sukuna and me, his stance protective.
"Get out of here, (Y/N)," Gojo said, his voice low and firm. "I'll handle this."
I hesitated, torn between staying to make sure Gojo was okay and following his orders. But the look in his eyes told me he wouldn't take no for an answer. Reluctantly, I turned and ran, my heart pounding in my chest.
Behind me, I heard the sounds of a struggle, and I prayed that Gojo would be alright. Sukuna was strong and ruthless, and I knew he wouldn't hesitate to use whatever means necessary to win.
I didn't stop running until I was a good distance away, and then I found a secluded spot to catch my breath. My mind was racing, filled with worry for Gojo and anger at Sukuna for showing up and causing trouble.
A few minutes later, I heard footsteps approaching. I tensed, ready to run again, but then I saw Gojo emerge from around the corner. He looked a little worse for wear, but he was smiling.
"Gojo!" I cried, rushing over to him. "Are you okay?"
He nodded, brushing off some dust from his clothes. "Yeah, I'm fine. He's not as tough as he thinks he is."
I breathed a sigh of relief, my heart finally starting to slow down. "Thank you," I said, my voice trembling. "I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't shown up."
He gave me a reassuring smile. "You don't have to thank me. I'm just glad you're safe."
We stood there for a moment, the tension slowly ebbing away. The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm, golden light over everything. Despite the chaos of the day, the evening felt strangely peaceful.
"Come on," Gojo said, gently taking my hand. "Let's get you back to your dorm."
::.............................................::
As we walked back to my dorm, the silence between us was both comforting and tense. The evening air was cool and crisp, a stark contrast to the heated confrontation that had just taken place. I could feel Gojo's presence beside me, steady and reassuring, but I also sensed an underlying tension.
After a while, Gojo broke the silence. "So, who was that guy? Sukuna, is it?"
I stiffened at the mention of Sukuna's name, my steps faltering for a moment. I had hoped to avoid this conversation, but Gojo's calm inquiry made it clear he wasn't going to let it go. Reluctantly, I nodded.
"Yeah, that's Sukuna," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper.
Gojo glanced at me, his eyes searching my face for answers. "And who is he to you?"
I hesitated, my steps faltering for a moment. The memories of Sukuna and our past were painful, and I wasn't sure if I was ready to share them. But Gojo had just saved me, and he deserved to know the truth.
"Do you... do you want to come up to my dorm?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
Gojo looked at me, his expression unreadable for a moment.
Then he nodded. "Sure, if you're comfortable with that."
With that, we walked together towards my dorm room.
