"Any idea why they needed me?," asked Leo as Nyssa shot him a look. "Really! They are your friends Leo, they probably might be worried for you." "Fat chance, they might need something," said Leo as Nyssa punched him in the biceps, but Leo shrugged it off.

"Anyways, how the spear practice going?," asked Nyssa. "Pretty good, I think might give Clarrise a run for her money on a throwing challenge. Candy?" offered Leo at the end, which she accepted.

After a month of his return, Leo found sat down and did some thinking. Since he was now alone unlike how he was at the Argo 2, he needed to learn a weapon to defend himself. He couldn't always rely on a hammer.

So he decided to make a sword for himself. Durable, light, yet firm, strong and easy to handle. That's when he decided to make a Spartan sword. Mixed with steel and celestial bronze, he made one for himself.

After perfecting his creation, Leo snuck into Chiron's office and took a book on sword fighting- basic maneuvres and exercises. Slowly, he worked on stance, then while learning he worked on perfecting the blade more for himself.

He also took notice of his figure. For the first time, he felt weak. So he sought Nyssa's help. She helped him set a good routine, as she was not alien to the treatment he was been given. Setting a good and healthy diet for him, while encouraging him on his endeavour.

This was partly her reason to accept the role of head counsellor. Leo with his new routine, could face trouble in managing himself and his duties. So she took them for him, while not regretting the fact as she got to know the real Leo more. The more serious one, one without the happiness mask.

Four months and he perfected the book upside down. He then snuck into Chiron's office again, this time keeping back the book and taking the book on spears.

He was still working on spear, it would take time to perfect it but he could throw it with perfect accuracy. He, Nyssa and Festus had tried out various types of throws in the woods early in the morning, while Nyssa too learning about it as she too lacked the knowledge of wielding a spear.

Reaching the Big House, the duo saw the rest of the seven standing there, bubbling with excitement while Chiron was overlooking them, smiling like a proud dad would.

"HEY LEO, I GOT THE MOST AWESOME IDE-," ,screamed Jason in delight as soon as he saw Leo coming with Nyssa. But Leo shut him up by stuffing his mouth with a spare chocolate lollipop he used to keep in his tool-belt.

"Hello to you too, now someone in a calm, gentleman manner tell me what the fudge is happening" ,asked Leo as Annabeth came forward, having a look of 'I know it all' that she inherited from her mother, like all her siblings.

"Leo, actually Jason had a good idea for once-" "HEY!" "-he actually wanted you to build a phone that would not attract monsters" ,said Annabeth with a smile.

Leo and Nyssa looked at each other, Nyssa having a downtrodden look while Leo having a 'I told you so' look.

"The thing is, we thought that it would be of much convenience to all demigods and also be useful on quest to carry a phone instead of a whole bunch of drachmas" ,said Piper coming forward.

"This might be a good idea after all," piped Chiron throwing his thoughts about the idea.

"Then why are you all telling this to me?" asked Leo as he got shocked looks from the seven, while a raised eyebrow from Chiron.

"What do you mean why we are telling you, of course only you can create it" ,said Hazel while the others nodded.

"First off, that is a insult to all my siblings-" ,said Leo with a harsh glare, as he had seen Nyssa look visibly hurt in that statement.

"- they too work as hard as me and some are more capable than me. Just because I have some fire powers and I build a ship for a quest doesn't mean I am different than them."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way," apologized Hazel as Nyssa put a hand on Leo's arm.

"Let it go Leo, I am sure that she didn't mean it that way. She better not," warned Nyssa at the end.

"You know you both can be less harsh," Percy shot back little protectively at Leo as he and Frank stood in front of Hazel protectively, who was looking hurt.

Dismissing the fact what Percy just said, Leo turned to Chiron.

"I just know this Chiron, anyone can build this. Also for the fact, I am no longer the Head Counsellor for Hephaestus cabin-" "WHAT!!!" "- so unless Nyssa gives me the permission, I can't do it sorry."

Chiron turned to Nyssa, who was looking at Leo with a smile. Smile because even though he was different from others in the cabin, he treated everyone equally. This touched her heart.

"So Nyssa my child what do you say?" ,asked Chiron.

Nyssa was silent for a few minutes before replying. "Sure, Leo can work on it, but only in his free time when I allow it" ,Nyssa said in a warning order as Leo put a hand on her head and ruffled her hair. "Sure miss mother counsellor," he laughed while Nyssa glared at him before giggling herself.

The others just stared at the brother-sister in front of them, while noticing a change in Leo.

He was looking more taller, almost reaching six, upto Percy's height. His shirt, which used to be loosened up earlier, now was tighter around his arms. His hair had been cut down a bit, still messy at the top but trimmed at the rims and around the ears, now genuinely going with his facial structure and making him sport a good look. Also for the fact that he had a sword hanging beside him. When did he learn that, and from whom puzzled them as he wasn't seen hanging for sure around the sword fighting class.

Also the fact that the whole time they were here, he had not cracked a single joke. It was like he was a whole new person, unlike the boy who had spent months with them on Argo 2.

"If this is all, I think we should take leave. Leo you have to help in Harvey's prototype for that beacon if you have not so kindly forgotten" ,reminded Nyssa as Leo slapped a hand on his forehead.

"Oops?!"

As they waved off and were about to leave, Chiron called Leo's name out, making them both turn around.

"Next time if you have to borrow a book, please do not sneak in. Just ask," said Chiron with a smile as Leo lowered his head a bit as an apology, and then both him and his sister jogged out.

"Chiron which book he took," asked Annabeth out of pure interest.

"Sword Maneuvers and Practice 101. Why?," asked Chiron.

"No nothing just asking," said Annabeth with a smile as Chiron nodded. Wishing the group good day, Chiron went off to complete his game with Mr.D that he had left in between.

"Dam, Leo's changed," commented Percy. "Yeah, like mature and stuff. But for some reason it doesn't suit him," huffed an annoyed Piper as she did not like Leo's new way of speaking to Hazel over a small misunderstanding.

"We will discuss it later tonight, for now we have sword practice Percy," commented Jason as a grin flashed across Percy's face.

"Oh your so going down Thunder pants!"
