Hikaru goes to the certain maroon boy who is doing something suspicious inside the headquarter. Aiger heard his brot- partner in crime's voice and he immediately turns to him

"Is it something wrong, Hikaru?"

The bluenette takes a deep breath. He seems kinda hesitate to spill what he's gonna say out to the maroon, but he still speaks: "What will you do if you encounter someone who says bad things about you?"

Aiger looks back at Hikaru with a 'Are you serious?' face and simply answers: "Of course, I could get away with that since it had nothing to do with me-"

"They just talked bad about Valt senpai five minutes ago-"

Hikaru was saying then being interrupted when he heard a 'crack' sound, and his expression becomes immediately horrified while looking at Aiger.

The maroon was looking at him, but in a neck-breaking position...

(It was like this but Aiger didn't have the smile- Don't ya worry, his neck is still fine-)

"Send me their location and prepare some weapons, Hikaru. Some bloody murders are gonna happen tonight~"

The other just listens and quickly goes out. Aiger takes the phone and starts to text to other members of the Squad.

It's such a normal and peaceful(?) day in BC Sol. Birds are singing, flowers are blooming- ehem... sorry this isn't Undertale, so let's start our story.

Valt is trying to find the Second-in-Command of BC Sol since he couldn't find the blond in the old ruin stadium or anywhere he can think when it comes to the Fafnir blader.

"It's time to see what I can do, to test the limit and break though~"

But that changes when the bluenette can hear someone singing somewhere in the forest. Yet, that voice is...fricking familiar.

"Huh?? Isn't that Free's voice??" Valt quickly rushes to where the sound came from, which is...the old ruin stadium??

"No right, no wrong, no rules for me. I'm free!~"

....What the fridge did he just hear? That's what Valt thought in his mind. He approaches the stadium, and what he saw is just so curse-

"Let it go, let it go~"

Free de la Hoya, the cold, introverted blader is wearing a crystal-blue off-the-shoulder dress with a right knee-high slit, a crystallized bodice, and translucent powder blue sleeves, plus ice-made kitten heels and a long transparent floor-sweeping cape of sheer ice decorated with large snowflakes. He's like dancing while swinging his hands in the music's beat.

Yet, the blond sensed the existence of someone here, so he looks back and saw his friend. Their eyes meet each other.

Bombastic side eye.

Criminal offensive side eye.

"V-Valt! I can explain-"

Today is a pretty normal day. We see Lane inside his house, petting Harry since it's usual hobby after all. His yellow eyes spot on the calendar on the nightstand.

1st September.

"Oh, it's my Birthday already?.." He whispers quietly then looks back at Harry. "My friend, looks like my Birthday will still be the same..."

A roll of tear starts to fall on his face.

Another lonely birthday....

Yet his thought is quickly interrupted when the knocking sound from the door attracted his attention.

"C-coming!"

He stands up and opens the door. He sees Valt, Shu and Hyuga looking at him, the bluenette's hand even holds a box in his hands.

"It's your three...? Ehem...just come in" He leads them to the sofa and sits down. "So, why did you find me for?"

Valt quickly shows out his kind smile and hands him the box. "Here, this is my gift for you. Happy Birthday Lane!"

Lane widens his eyes in surprise and his look is turned to Shu and Hyuga, one is chuckling slightly while closing his eyes and nods, the other grins brightly.

"Also, this is the gifts from me and Fubuki. Hope you like it" Shu gives out to him two boxes of gift with an assuring smile.

"And this is from me and Hikaru!" The red-haired boy also gives him the gifts. "He can't come today since he's busy, but he also wishes you a happy birthday, too!"

"Now Lane, open my box first!"

He nods slowly and opens the box from thr bluenette. Inside it is a cake with hedgehog shape, in front of its face is a small sign, written "Happy Birthday to you! - From your mother(Valt) <3"

Lane's heart melts in happiness as a small but honest smile curls up from his lips. He takes a knife, carefully cut it into small slices and shares it with the other three.

"...It's delicious." He said in an amused voice while still eating the cake. And he's clearly aware that this cake was hand-made by the bluenette (maybe with the help of Shu, too-?), that's why he's happy.

Valt smiles "Glad you like it"

Lane finally realizes, he's not alone, at least anymore.

He has his friends, his teacher and his mother always by his side until the very end.

He doesn't need a big birthday, just stay like this. Small but filled with joy and coziness...

This is the best birthday ever!
