"Good morning!!" You greeted your best friend cheerfully. "Morning (y/n)!" She greeted you back.
You gave her a wide smile before heading to your seat which the bear the window. You saw your seat mate sitting there. Apparently, he had beautiful sea green hair.
You'd be lying if you denied that you didn't have a crush on him.
"Good morning Delta." You greeted but he ignored you.
That's the problem.

Everytime you tried to talk to him, he would give you the cold shoulders. You have been seat mate for ages but he didn't spoke a word to you.

You heart dropped. You even had the feeling that he hated you. You were trying to get over your feelings on him. Your best friend even said that you should move on.
But he was your first love, it's not easy to get over when it's your first love.

You sighed and took your seat. The class started soon.
In the middle of the class, you began to space out.
"(Y/N)!!!"
You heard your name being called and looked up to meet with angry Teacher.
"Can you say what we were discussing ?" She asked.
"U-um-" you could hear the other students laugh. But before anything else could happen, the bell rang.
"Next time pay good attention to class." Your teacher warned you before dismissing the class.
Every students started packing their things and leaving the classroom.
Delta passed through you without even a goodbye.
This hurt you even more.
You quickly packed your stuffs and bid your goodbye to your best friend before heading home with a heavy heart.

You were walking down the road. Today is especially weird for some reason. You felt like as if someone was staring at you. You took a turn and noticed a silhouette in black, leaning on the wall of a nearby building. You felt uneasy and quickened your pace.
You felt footsteps approaching you. You turned around but saw no one. You shrugged off the thought and again started walking, a bit more faster. The footsteps again appeared and this time caught up to you. Your adrenaline kicked in and you sprinted with full speed but again the person caught up to you.
A pair of strong hand gripped you from behind and knocked you out. Only the empty street ahed was what you saw before losing your consciousness.

When you opened your eyes, you found yourself in a dark room, tied to a chair.
Typical.
Panic started to rise inside you.
"So, you're finally awake ?" A voice called out.
You saw a figure dressed in black entering the room.
"W-what do you want ?" You managed to ask. You were petrified of this situation. You just wanted to go back to your parents and friends at the moment.

"Relax, sweetheart. I won't harm you. I just want my revenge." He said as he lifts up your chin.
"R-revenge ?! But I didn't do anything to you-I barely know you!"
The man chuckled, "Not you but your boyfriend."
"What ?! I don't have a boyfriend!"
"Will you stop lying ?! I know you're the girl Delta loves."
You were dumbfounded. You knew Delta hated you.
"Please let me go. Delta hates me yet alone will ever love me."
The man stared at you as if you have gone insane.
"As if I haven't seen him looking at you with those loving eyes."
"As if he ever even looked at me!" You huffed.
"But what do you want from him ? What did he do ?" You asked, being the nosey person you are.
"It doesn't concern you. You're only the bait in my plan."
You were now mad. How could he use you ?
"Leave me! Let me go!"
"Not so soon sweetheart."
You were struggling with the ropes, trying to free yourself but failed miserably.
"Stop trying Sweetheart, it's out of your reach." The man mocked.
"Please let me go." You begged but he won't listen.
Suddenly the door of the room was kicked open and the person on the door shocked you very much.

Cuz it was DELTA.

"Get away from her." He ordered sternly.
"Oh, I thought you would come and why would I ?"
"Because no one can get near the person I love."
Your eyes widened and your face went as red as a tomato.
"If you really love her, then try taking her from here."
You felt a cold metal end near your head. Your eyes went wide when you realized what it was.
It was a gun.
The person was a mafia.

Delta on the other hand was shocked too. He gritted his teeth. "Get away." He said, a dark aura surrounding him. The man just smirked, "Try taking one step and she's gone." You were frozen, petrified from head to toe. Delta took a step forward and the man proceeded to pull the trigger. You really thought that it was your end but it wasn't.
And the next thing shocked you more. Delta took out his gun and shot the man. You screamed, genuinely scared.Delta was a mafia too. Delta quickly threw his gun and ran to you. Untying you, he held you close. You were practically shaking.
Waterfalls coming out from your eyes.
"It's okay, nothing will happen now. You are safe." He rubbed your back.
You finally started to calm down a bit.
"Delta ?"
"Hm ?"
"Do you really love me ?"
"I wouldn't have said if I didn't."

You broke the hug and looked at him only to find him staring at your eyes. You found yourself getting lost in his deep crimson eyes.
Both of you leaned forward and closed the gap between you too.
After you parted, you uttered the words which also shocked you.

"No matter who you are, I love you too."

Sorry for coming back late again. I have been busy with school and stuff. Plus, I haven't been well lately. I was sick for a few days and then again got vaccinated and boy, it really hurt. I was sick for almost an entire week. But thank you for your patience.
