(10) CONVINCING THEM

A blind desire can bind you at a certain point, but the craziness towards that blind desire makes you numb sometimes despite you stand freely. A situation like this was going in Kosambi. Anurakta, the youngest princess of Kaling was driving herself away from each rectification and from each relation due to one of her blind desire.

A huge chamber of palace of Kosambi was filled with silence, deadly silence though the scenario was seeming like safe to be in from far.

"Dance! For whom are you waiting?" A dangerous voice whispered to a maid who was shivering.

"Looks like you don't like the stage designed for you. Let me make it better," Saying so that person to whom the dangerous voice belonged broken a vase.

"Pri-nce-ss!" That maid stammered against the keen staring of a young girl.

"Stop! What the hell are you doing, Anu?" Another voice rang addressing the name of that princess.

That princess was none other than Anurakta, younger sister Abhipsa who didn't like peace around herself when had any displeasure, and the voice who stopped her was her mother queen Anwesha.

"I wasn't doing anything can be compared with hell, Maa. I was just trying to get some entertainment," Anurakta answered ignoring her mother's sharp glare carelessly.

"Trying to get entertainment! Like how? Pushing this innocent maid to dance on broken pieces of vase!" Anwesha dismissed that maid to go nearer to her crazy daughter.

"Like always I was the one to be blamed. If you hadn't stopped me from going to Hastinapur with pitashri then I would haven't found such a way to entertain myself," Anurakta was playing with her long curls down to shoulders.

"Your pitashri had gone Hastinapur to attend a meeting. What would have you done being present there?" Anwesha tried to insert logic into Anurakta's mind.

"I also wanted to go there for a meeting, Maa. Don't be ignorant. Moreover Abhipsa is also there," Anurakta looked at Anwesha for the first time in between convo.

"Abhipsa is elder than you. So, call her jiji," Mother adviced her daughter with a sharp tone.

"No one is here. So, I don't like to pretend any more in privacy," Anurakta denied the advice.

"Maa, I love him so much," Anurakta softened her voice to get such an response from her mother.

"He can't love you back," This time Anwesha rejected Anurakta's words.

"How can you be sure about this? Change can happen anytime with anyone, and love isn't a give and take relationship, right?" Unlike mother daughter too attempted with logic.

"Forget him, Anu. Stop being mad for him," Anwesha grabbed one arm of Anurakta.

"I am already at the last extent of madness in his name," Later one freed herself from the former one.

"He can't be yours. So, better don't nurture any hope in your heart or else I have to be harsh on you," Anwesha warned, but that went into vein as Anurakta didn't consider that.

"If you don't obey me then I have to reveal the years long secret of yours. I mean it," Saying so Anwesha departed from there.

"You can't stop our union, Maa. One day your this warning will lose it's capacity against my wish," Anurakta chuckled challenging her mother at back.

In Hastinapur:

After knowing the reason of Karenumati's coldness towards her maternal grand father Nakul was trying to convince her for a talk. Though she expressed her disinterest still he didn't leave his attempts. After marriage it was the first time he was pushing her for something, because he didn't want her to lose the chance to mend the relationship which was too close to heart unlike her relationship with Arjun.

Somehow Nakul was hopeful about getting his old cheerful and smiling Karenumati back through the initiation for which he was trying.

"Fine, as you are pestering me I will go to him," Karenumati declared making Nakul smile.

"You have to talk with him too," Nakul reminded her getting a sharp glare from her.

"Sure, why not? After all it's my husband's wish," She told sarcastically while walking towards her destination with Nakul.

After reaching at Kritimukh's chamber both came to know that he went to meet Arjun. Listening this Renu's mood worsened, and she sat on the couch with a thud.

"Let's leave for now. It may take more time," Renu excused after waiting for sometime.

"Let's wait a lil more, Ree!" Nakul teased her with a suppressed chuckle.

"I told you very before not to take this name. Why don't you understand? I am leaving now," She was about to leave Kritimukh entered into chamber.

Both greeted him together.

"You are more similar to your father, Ree. Short tempered, stubborn and impatient," Kritimukh's compliment angered Renu.

"I am like myself only. I am not like anyone, not like him at least," Joining her hands sarcastically she left.

"I convinced her to have a talk with you, and you teased her letting the opportunity be waste," Nakul was sad whatever his effort resulted into.

"Aren't you teasing her sometimes ago? Don't worry. This start will offer another conversation with her," Kritimukh patted Nakul's shoulder.

"If not on me then at least trust on my grey hairs. I didn't get them unnecessarily," Kritimukh's words and gesture made Nakul laugh.

A new step was about to be taken by Karenumati towards her broken relationships. The start had initiated.
