Not straightness works always, sometimes tricks too do. Not only tenderness but being tormented pushes you forward to take a step. Mentioning Karenumati similar to her father Kritimukh provoked her to start a conversation with him from her side.

Though Renu denied her grand father's compliment she was desperate to ask him about the reason behind saying so. That action would have considered as a childish one if she had asked about the reason to him immediately in the way his words affected her. That was why she chose to wait for another chance to put forward her question.

After dinner Kritimukh was strolling in garden. One of his attendant was about to go to him to remind him to take medicine for pain in his knee. After knowing that Renu took over the task from that attendant.

She was angry over him for ignoring his grand daughters, for never visiting them, for never be in touch with them, but how could she ignore the pain of those knees who were struggled with the roughness of ground to act like a horse carrying her on his back in her childhood.

That reminiscence moistened her eyes followed by her concern for him. "Time had run so far," with this thought she went towards garden.

"You have to take medicine. Please go to your chamber," Karenumati's concern was half hidden and half expressed in her tone.

"So, this secret revealed to you. Don't think that you can govern over me in excuse of this silly reason," He denied her playfully increasing her concern.

"It's not a matter of governing over you. You should be responsible at least towards your health," She tried to control the pace of concern inside her.

"And towards what I should be responsible the most?" He asked allowing silence to be prevailed.

"You had lost that chance," Gulping down the lump she replied.

"Had I? Had I lost the chance just because I couldn't win over your father?" His question surprised her.

"What are you saying? How is he related to this matter?" She asked the obvious after his statement.

"I could have answered you, but if I do so then that answer will be some words to you. When your heart will restore a genuine belief on me only then I will answer you," He left from there creating a bubble of confusion around her.

Morning came, initiated the next day, pulled everyone into their schedules, everything was so casual about next morning.

Arjun was training Prativindhya in basics of archery. Suthanu was observing that carefully sitting with Renu. Suddenly someone's presence grabbed Renu's attention, and it was none other than Abhipsa. She was admiring Arjun secretly.

Instead of being irritated over Abhipsa Renu was lost after looking at her. She was admiring Arjun unlike Subhadra, that was the fact roaming in Renu's mind driving her senses into a flashback.

Flashback:

During those days Arjun was staying in Kaling. For practicing some new tactics with the newly trained warriors Kripansh had invited Arjun to Kaling. Accepting his invitation Arjun went there along with Nakul. In this way Subhadra and Karenumati met their respective partners.

Being a warrior Subhadra was a genuine admirer of Arjun's skills. She used to observe him keenly during his practice session. Sometimes Renu and Nakul were also with Subhadra. One day Renu noticed something different than genuine admiration in Subhadra's eyes.

Renu figured out pride in Subhadra's glittering eyes for Arjun as if he belonged to her, and her gesture was claiming right over him. She was full of spirit while reciprocating the spark of his valour. Her skin was vibrating vividly with his velocity of stretching string, posing himself before shooting, and leaving arrows cracking the target.

That was the day Renu confirmed about Subhadra's feelings for Arjun, and determined herself to make both of them united.

"Jiji, he is an unbeatable warrior still humble and soft hearted," Renu parised Arjun to get Subhadra's reaction over that.

"So true, Renu. He has the rarest goodness anyone can possess ever," Subhadra supported Renu's words.

"His family must be a lucky one to have him," Renu tried to go closer to Subhadra's confession.

"Not just lucky they are the luckiest to have him," A slight shade of blush was shining over her golden skin.

Renu was in awe after noticing that. It was the first ever time in life Renu had witnessed over loaded stimulus in her serene sister.

Flashback ended

Renu was smiling the widest at that reminiscence forgetting her current surrounding. When she recovered herself from that state at Suthanu's call Abhipsa was talking to Arjun.

"Some wishes never go from hearts. They continue to stay either being hope or woe in life," Whispering at the sight in front of her she left with Suthanu.
