(25) A DANGEROUS INTRUDER

Sometimes problems come to guide solutions at instant. The more severe the problem is the nearer the solution is. The army of Kaling was marching towards Kosala making the way for ultimate solution of the prolonged issues which were still left.

Arjun along with Kirtimukh went to war field. In the short of period of time only a small portion of army could get ready for cope up.

Renu was there with Pandu and Kunti.

"Mata, who's Kalpita?" Renu asked.

"Kalpita is the childhood friend cum handmaid of your mother. You might not remember, but she used to live with you," Kunti caressed Renu's hairs sadly.

"Why did she leave Kaling? How did you meet her?" The curious girl shot more questions.

"Your father made Kalpita bound to leave Kaling as she was trying to make Subhadra get an efficient control over her power through practice of Yoga," Pandu initiated the flow of revelation about Kalpita.

"She had wondered many years after leaving Kaling. When we left Indraprastha to practice banaprastha (The austere life each house holder should practice after fulling duties towards family) we met her coincidentally," Kunti completed the explanation.

"Why did jiji's power need control? What was the purpose of that control?" Renu's questions weren't finished to let the couple breath in relaxation.

"Each kind of power needs control, my child. The control is needed for her own good or else she has to suffer from the fatal effects of Halaala," Pandu's words drew back Renu's senses to past.

"Does those effects include internal burning, weird allergies and unusual temperature?" Renu was hoping her assumption to be wrong.

"Absolutely right, my child!" Pandu replied slowly understanding Renu's heart.

Renu had noticed those symptoms in Subhadra mostly, but each time Subhadra was successful in excusing herself from Renu's suspicious eyes.

"I will never forgive the king of Kaling. Where's my jiji by the way?" Hot tears were briskly rolling down from Renu's cheek imagining her sister's suffering in those years.

"She has been doing penance to get rid of the boon which was turned out as pain of others by her father," Kunti's reply shook the world around Renu.

"That means she has been doing penance since that long time!" Renu exclaimed repeating Kunti's words.

"The day we were coming Indraprastha to surprise you all we met Subhadra on our way. After listening everything from her we were shocked. Kalpita suggested us to keep our identity as secret near Subhadra as she wanted to keep Arjun away from herself," Pandu spoke about the day when fate had arranged his meet with Subhadra.

"That means jiji doesn't know about your real identity!" Renu couldn't help, but exclaimed again.

"No, she doesn't. Kalpita suggested Subhadra to mediate to get control over her power, but Subhadra was determined to return that boon to Lord Shiva. That was why she has been doing penance," Kunti clarified.

"Can't I see her once?" Renu asked in a broken voice.

"Yes, you can. Let's go there," Pandu stretched his hand to guide the ladies.

"Arya, see there!" Before everyone could proceed Kunti screamed in a trembled voice.

"Who killed this innocent pigeon brutally?" Pandu went towards the corner following Kunti's shocked stare, and picked up a dead pigeon from there.

"This seems as a messenger pigeon. Kalpita might have informed us about her capture through this pigeon," Kunti expressed her thought.

"But who's that person who have done this mess?" Renu was again tormented by the twist which had hindered her meet with Subhadra.

"We should check Subhadra as soon as possible. Someone's here to harm our family," Kunti started to run followed by Pandu and Renu.

Something or better to address it someone was about jump in between the flow causing the fall down of each foul attempts.
