~☆Laws POV☆~

I looked around checking to see if there was anyone around . As i suspected security guards were guarding the hallways. I had to do this . I skipped my class for it . Hiding behind a wall as a guard passed , i let out a small sigh . Fortunately the library was in the old part of the building . Actually this building was older than it looks as i did research upon it . It only had repairs but it was actually an old castle . Opening the lid to the air vents i crawled in , hoping I'd end up where i wished .

Hopping down the air vent I looked around and quickly got to work . Pulling the chain and bending the toe of the statue . The secret door opened and i took my chance and walked inside , careful with the old steps .
The door closed behind me and it was far too dark to see . A shiver went down my spine , having lost my sense of sight completely . I recalled seeing old torches on the walls and carefully traced the wall in order to find one .
Grabbing the torch i sighed in relief and lit it with my lighter .

This place could be the definition of creepy . It had a damp smell that bothered me . I carefully stepped down the swirling steps . They were like an old serpent warped around a pillar , so rusty and old that it would fall apart upon the slightest movement .
The bottom looking like an endless abyss . Like a monster was awaiting its victim , sharpening its claws . The light of the torch lit but so little of that thick darkness . Grabbing an extra torch just in case i kept walking . Reaching the end of the stairs i lit the other torch , hoping for more light .
There i saw the walls , filled with shelves and books .
This place was a library. Walking to one of the shelves i looked at the books , holding the torch closer so i could read .
"Vampire history , exorcism rules , the fangs , book of hybrids , monster encyclopedia..... "
I whispered . Just where was this place?
Walking while looking at the book i tripped over something . A bone . A human bone attached to a human leg attached to a skeleton to be exact .
There was human skeletons here .
I grabbed the torch and held it close to the pile of bones . My eyes widened upon seeing two long fangs in between the skeletons teeth . Surprised i backed away on instinct . I was getting chills even tho i tried to hide it . These were not human bones , at least most of them . The feet the hands the nose the ears they were all different from a humans.... the whole structure was different.... Was this proof that monsters are real?

"Yer not supposed to be here kid"
I heard a voice from behind and someone getting off a chair .
Turning around in panic i saw a skeleton standing before me . It was a long skeleton. A bit taller than me. I was terrified. There is a talking skeleton in front of me, what the fuck am I supposed to do?
"What is ye doing here?"
It spoke while smoking a pipe . Which was funny because it has no organs and the smoke would just twirl around him.
"is ye listening to me?"
It spoke , somewhat irritated.
"Im sorry for trespassing. I was just curious about the hidden door...."
I spoke trying to act calm , but i was indeed terrified .

"Ye heard the old saying....."
It wondered off , trying to remember . Tilting its head back and scratching its head with its bone made fingers .
"Ah!"
He spoke , raising his finger in air .
"Curiosity kills the cat"
If it had flesh it would have a proud grin by now .
"Does that mean you are going to kill me?"
I spoke , my mind racing with thoughts of survival ways .
It set down on the desk and scratched its head .

"Yer lucky i dont feel like it . So what is ye?"
It asked looking at me .
"Im human..."
"Hah! Ye's not human!"
It laughed a hearty laugh . I was wondering how it could speak and move without flesh.... weird thought to have while talking with a skeleton...
"What?"
I asked confused .
"Ye not human . I sense it . Ye has a dark energy deep within ye's existence."
It said . How much can someone believe in the word of a living skeleton? I wonder....
"Are you.... are you sure?"
I hummed .

"Im older than ye's greatest grandmother . I would know ."
It spoke.
"Then what am i?"
I mused .
"Ye needs to find that yer self . "
It said and i bet if it had eyes it would be staring at me .
"I have a feeling i shall help ye... leave . Leave and return in two days . "
It said and walked to me , grabbing my hand . I backed away a bit .
"Ye take it easy"
He said and drew something on my hand and disappeared into the shadows. I looked around and decided its better if i dont anger it...
"Well.... lets go to class...."
I told myself and walked back.

Finally an update .
Its short but hey its something .
