"Robin shouldn't we tell y.n the truth?"

"No, Nami. It's best she doesn't remember. Remember the incident...?"

Robin stammered.

"what incident?"

you walked down the stairs and smiled at them.

"nothing y.n , we're just having a chat"

Robin smiled at you. you hummed and didn't push further.

"HEY y.n YOU GOTTA SEE THIS!!!"

Usopp cried for you. You dashed to him and looked to where he was pointing.

There was blood red clouds all over the sky. Your eyes widened as you hissed under your breath.

"They're a month early.... Now is not a good time...."

You rushed to your study. The Blood Moon Festival of Death was upon you. Last you heard the next blood moon was supposed to be in 2 months but things were happening faster than they were supposed to. The blood moon brought pain and suffering with itself. It was when all monsters were most vulnerable and bloodthirsty. You feared you might hurt Law. And you did not know why you cared so much for him.

"y.n did you see the sky?"

Zoro walked in wit a worried expression.

"Yes Zoro this is not good. The Blood Moon is exactly when we will be hosting the school festival. We are all enrolled in too many activities to dodge this. And it would draw suspicion . The hunters will know. Zoro this is bad this is bad this is bad this is bad..."

You were panicking. He gave you a hug to comfort you.

"It will be okay y,n , we will find some way. We always do"

He patted your back. Taking a deep breath you calmed down.

"You're right, bring it on stupid moon."

You huffed.

Law nearly spat out his coffee when he saw the sky. It looked like there's blood in the sky. His brain was sure if it would rain, it would rain blood.

"What the fuck is that..."

he whispered to himself.

"This is the sign of a blood moon. ya gotta be careful mate. There are legends that the blood moon is the most dangerous night"

His coworker Shachi warned him. Law had seen enough to know this is no joke. He nodded and got back to work. He felt very thirsty but no matter what he drank it did him no good. At one point he feared he might have gotten infected from the vampire corpse. He checked for fangs, ate garlic, sat under the sun and touched silver to make sure he was not a vampire.

On his way home he couldn't help but admire the sky. The more he stared at it the more captivating it would get. he almost tripped a few times , being too distracted.

He got home and put his groceries away. Sitting down on the couch he sighed and closed his eyes.

"Law.... Lead me to battle and you shall be victorious. The past will not repeat itself. You will get what is yours."

The familiar voice whispered in his head. It was Kikouku.

"What do you mean...."

Law frowned but there was only silence. This town, this house, this drama, it was all driving him to his breaking point. Alas, he was unaware of it.

He just assumed what he heard was a hallucination or a dream and continued with his day. But he would get nightmares every night. Of a whole different time he did not know. But he was smart enough to write them down. His dad had taught him well. He would often have to take sleeping pills but even the strongest of pills didn't stop him from waking up screaming at night. As days passed he was becoming more ghostly. He had lost the little light he had within. Quietly doing his job and going to school. He was too tired to even look at anyone. And you were too busy thinking of a solution for the blood moon to notice any of this.

But your friends worried for you, and him. Because they remembered, unlike you. They remembered who he was and why he suffers so much, But there was not much they could do for him. They had to pretend like they know nothing.

Law was too tired to even notice Eustass anymore. They would often glare at each other but now he was just drowned in darkness. He missed a lot of his classes due to his sleeping problems. Sometimes he would not sleep for days. His appetite had gone away as each time he would try to eat he would remember the horrible nightmares and simply throw up what little food he had consumed.

He tried to take vitamin pills and nutrition pills but he could barely afford them as life was expensive. It was just a sad and trying time for everyone, and it was not going to get any better....

One night as he slept, he had a nightmare of the time he fought the monster and found Kikoku. He woke up remembering what had happened but did not know why he forgot or how he was treated. He just tried to keep an eye on you. He tried talking to you but you were like a shadow, finding you was not easy. But he finally found you..... when he collapsed from lack of sleep and Luffy took him to the infirmary and called you. Too bad he was unconscious at the time.

But you stayed with him. You had just noticed how much weight he had lost. You saw the dark bags under his eyes and how much paler he looked. His dry lips slowly letting out cold breaths as you took care of him. You worried, but you feared that you might hurt him so you avoided him for so long. Now you were sorry that you stopped checking on him. He wasn't making much money because he was taking a lot of sick days. Though Raven was very considerate and paid him generously, the rent was a big toll. And don't get me started on bills!

He was running a high fever, as you leaned in to press your forehead against his to check his temperature he woke up. His eyes fluttering open and you swear they glowed gold for a second.

"You kissed me"

he whispered.

"What? NO!! I was just checking your temperature!"

you declared.

"No...You kissed me that night... In that castle.... you told me it's a dream... you.. you had fangs!"

He gasped.

You were beyond shocked. There was no way he could remember that. Your first instinct was to run. Run until you find what to do. but as you turned around to escape he grabbed onto your wrist weakly.

"please don't leave me...."

he almost sounded like a scared child.

"I... I should erase your memories again...."

You said as you gave him a deep kiss , erasing his memory for a second time as tears streamed down your rosy cheeks. Something within you didn't want to break the kiss. You just wanted to hold him forever. Tightly within your embrace. But you had to go, and you had to stay gone, for his own safety. You were not as strong as you seemed. You would hurt him. And that was the last thing you wanted. So you left...
