"Hey Law, do you wanna hang out after work?" Shachi asked as he jumped on Law's back.

"I really can't..." He tried to find an excuse.

"Oh come ooonn! It'll be fun!" Shachi begged, giving him puppy eyes.

"Yeah he's right we can just hang out at the Russia Sushi place!" Penguin chimed in.

"I'm broke.." Law confessed.

"Oh that doesn't matter, we got you!" Shachi reassured.

"Yeah, friends take care of eachother!" Penguin affirmed.

Law gave them a small smile and nodded.

"Okay then. Thank you" He spoke before leaving to go back to work.

~Time skip~

Shachi and Penguin waited for Law in the parking lot so they could drive to Russia Sushi in Shachi's old car.

"They still have the 50% off offer?" Law questioned.

"Yeah, they always have that" Penguin said.

"But why?"

"Because only the broke go there. Like us. Except for the fancy schmutts. They go there too" Shachi explained.

"Who do you mean?"

"Eustass and his buddies, also the mugiwara dudes and Y.n"

"Oh.." Law hummed.

They got into the restaurant and sat down in a nice cozy booth. The restaurant always felt homey. You could hear the foreigners warm voice as he repeated the same sentence over and over.

"Russia Sushi, 50% off!" He repeated as he handed out fliers to people.

"That's Simon. He's nice" Shachi informed law after he caught him staring at the man.

"He has a really warm voice" Law hummed as he ate his sushi.

Most of the talk was just casual chatter and day to day small talk. But Shachi and Penguin did give Law some good tips which he appreciated.

"Speak of the devil!" Penguin said as you, Zoro and Robin walked into the sushi place.

"Guess you were right" Law sputtered and offered you a smile when your eyes met.

Your heart skipped a beat when you saw him. You were mysteriously attracted to him and it was so, SO annoying.

"Hey, Law!" You beamed, walking to their table with a smile. "I see you're with these two trouble makers!"

"Excuse you!" Penguin huffed jokingly. You greeted eachother and asked about your days.

"Law here has been in a daze lately so we brought him here so he can get some proper food. He's just skin and bone now" Shachi yawned. You felt guilty for erasing his memory. And felt like it was your fault that he would get in trouble or get injured.

"I see, good job guys" You nodded approvingly. Shachi and Penguin gave you a knowing look in return.

"Well it was nice seeing you." You waved and joined your friends in their VIP room.

"Shes so mysterious" Law hummed.

"That she is." Penguin nodded.

"You guys ready to go?" Shachi asked and they gathered their things and left.

While walking to Shachi's car, Penguin slipped on some ice and twisted his ankle.

"We should take you to the hospital" Shachi whined.

"We can go to my house. I'm a doctor"

"You are?!" They gasped and Law just nodded.

They just drove to Law's place and Law treated Penguin's ankle.

They were all exhausted so they all just sort of dozed off on the couch and Law didn't have the heart to kick them out so he put some blankets on them and headed to bed.

But he couldn't sleep. The mysterious thirst was killing him.

"Law... Go to the old building behind the school in the woods" Whispered Kikoku.

"Why? Is that where I can find answers to this madness?" Law spoke wearily.

Kikoku did not answer in return. But law felt this urge, this feeling, that pushed him to go there.

"Stop playing with me" He growled at the sword.

"I want what's best for you, master" Kikoku whispered and everything fell into silence.

Law thought for a moment and then sighed. He then got up and grabbed the sword, tip toeing his way out of the house quietly so he wouldn't disturb his knocked out pals.

"This better be worth my while or I'm going to melt you into silverware." He hissed at the sword. He felt safe when he had Kikoku with him. And when separated from it he would be anxiously waiting to be reunited with his precious sword. It was as if this sword was a very old friend that he missed dearly.

When he reached the old cursed building he felt a sense of dread. It was a familiar feeling. As if he had been through all this. A sick and twisted de ja vu.

"Why are we here?" He asked the sword.

"You must remember" Hissed Kikoku "Must remember before Halloween" It cried.

"Why?!" Law sighed "Remember what?"

But Kikoku was quiet. Law sighed and just carefully stepped into the building. It all felt too familiar.

"Have I been here before?" He wondered out loud and almost fell into the same hole he fell into the first time. He complained about the darkness and turned on his phones flashlight. His eyes widened when he saw muddy footsteps that lead to the hole. Those were the traces of his shoes. He was certain he was here before but he did not remember.

"Here goes nothing" And with that he jumped into the hole, landing on the pile of bones.

He was the dried pool of blood under his feet. He was slowly remembering. He was seeing flashes of what happened. Nothing certain yet. He cautiously followed the trail of blood and saw the splattered blood on the wall and the claw marks. That's when he remembered it all. He got goosebumps, completely awake and alarmed.

"I remember.... This is where I found you..."

"No, This is where I found you. After so many years." Kikoku whispered.

"What do you mean?"

"We have been inseparable throughout history. It was after your death that I got lost."

"What are you..?" Law asked, gulping nervously.

"I am Kikoku, the cursed blade. I am a demon trapped within this blade, and I serve you, the master of darkness"

"Me? I'm just a boy that lost everything in a fire..." Law wailed. But then it dawned on him. You!!! He remembered all that happened now! You erased his memory multiple times!!

"She's not human" He mumbled.

"Neither are you. You two were lovers for many years" Kikoku informed.

"Lovers? Why won't she recognize me?"

"Her memories have been replaced. You need to find the truth, Law. There is just so little I can do for you."

"You've done enough for me" He stroked the blade gently. "You keep saving my sorry ass" He chuckled.

Time to do some research.
