There' a story this Christmas we all have to face

And it isn't just here but all over the place

So don't feel that you're all alone

Just buck up and let's not bemoan

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

Caught Covid-19 bug

Santa was in a quandary

He didn't have a virus drug

All of the other reindeer

Refused to take up Santa's sleigh

Just gave a social distance shrug

And quickly backed away

So Santa went to Mrs. Claus

To round up all the elves

They would ride the sleigh tonight

And make deliveries by themselves

But the North Pole had a union

No sleigh rides allowed for elves

So sadly Santa told them all

Put the gifts back on the shelves

Mrs. Claus sprang to action

Gave all the elves a brand new task

And faster than a melting snowflake

Made Santa a Christmas stocking mask

All the reindeer got reindeer masks

And quickly rushed to pull the sleigh

Off they flew across the starlit sky

To salvage Santa's Christmas day

Rudolph went to quarantine

His red nose not so bright

But Mrs. Claus made chicken soup

And he recovered through the night

The moral of this epic is

If you take part and fight the fight

There is no job that can't be done

If we follow rules and do things right
